John 17

1 These things spoke Jesus, and (having lifted up *N+kO) the eyes of Him to heaven (and *k) He said; Father, has come the hour; do glorify Your Son, that (also *k) the Son (of you *k) may glorify You.

Dieses redete Jesus und hob seine Augen auf gen Himmel und sprach: Vater, die Stunde ist gekommen; verherrliche deinen Sohn, auf daß dein Sohn dich verherrliche.

2 Even as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that all whom You have given to Him, (He may give *NK+o) to them life eternal. (aiōnios g166)

Gleichwie du ihm Gewalt gegeben hast über alles Fleisch, auf daß er allen, die du ihm gegeben, [Eig. auf daß alles, was du ihm gegeben, er ihnen usw.] ewiges Leben gebe. (aiōnios g166)

3 This now is eternal life that they may know You the only true God and whom You have sent Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)

Dies aber ist das ewige Leben, daß sie dich, den allein wahren Gott, und den du gesandt hast, Jesum Christum, erkennen. (aiōnios g166)

4 I myself You glorified on the earth the work (having completed *N+kO) that You have given Me that I may do.

Ich habe dich verherrlicht auf der Erde; das Werk habe ich vollbracht, welches du mir gegeben hast, daß ich es tun sollte.

5 And now do glorify Me You yourself, Father, with Yourself with the glory that I had before the world existing with You.

Und nun verherrliche du, Vater, mich bei dir selbst mit der Herrlichkeit, die ich bei dir hatte, ehe die Welt war.

6 I revealed Your name to the men whom (you gave *N+kO) Me out of the world; Yours they were and to Me and to Me them (You gave *N+kO) and the word of You they have kept.

Ich habe deinen Namen geoffenbart den Menschen, die du mir aus der Welt gegeben hast. Dein waren sie, und du hast sie mir gegeben, und sie haben dein Wort bewahrt. [O. gehalten]

7 Now they have known that all things as much as (You have given *NK+o) Me of You (are; *N+kO)

Jetzt haben sie erkannt, daß alles, was du mir gegeben hast, von dir ist;

8 for the declarations that (You gave *N+kO) Me I have given to them; and they themselves received [them] and they knew truly that from You I came forth, and they believed that You yourself Me sent.

denn die Worte, [O. Aussprüche, Mitteilungen] die du mir gegeben hast, habe ich ihnen gegeben, und sie haben sie angenommen und wahrhaftig erkannt, daß ich von dir ausgegangen bin, und haben geglaubt, daß du mich gesandt hast.

9 I myself concerning them am praying; Not concerning the world do I pray but concerning those whom You have given Me, for Yours they are;

Ich bitte für sie; [Eig. betreffs ihrer [der, derer]; so auch v 20] nicht bitte ich für die [Eig. betreffs ihrer [der, derer]; so auch v 20] Welt, sondern für die, [Eig. betreffs ihrer [der, derer]; so auch v 20] welche du mir gegeben hast, denn sie sind dein,

10 And the [things] of mine all Yours are and Yours Mine; and I have been glorified in them.

[und alles, was mein ist, ist dein, und was dein ist, mein] und ich bin in ihnen verherrlicht.

11 And no longer no longer I am in the world, and yet (themselves *N+kO) in the world they are, and I myself and I myself to You am coming. Father Holy, do keep them in the name of You (which [name] *N+KO) You have given to Me that they may be one even as (also *o) we ourselves [are].

Und ich bin nicht mehr in der Welt, und diese sind in der Welt, und ich komme zu dir. Heiliger Vater! bewahre sie in deinem Namen, den du mir [O. viell.: in welchem du sie mir] gegeben hast, auf daß sie eins seien, gleichwie wir.

12 When I was with them (in world *K) I myself was keeping them in the name of You (which [name] *N+KO) You have given to Me (And *no) I guarded [them], and none of them has perished only except the son of destruction, that the Scripture may be fulfilled.

Als ich bei ihnen war, bewahrte ich sie in deinem Namen, den du mir gegeben hast; und ich habe sie behütet, [O. nach and. Les.: Namen. Die du mir gegeben hast, habe ich behütet] und keiner von ihnen ist verloren, [O. verdorben] als nur der Sohn des Verderbens, auf daß die Schrift erfüllt werde.

13 Now however to You I am coming and these things I speak in the world, so that they may have joy of Mine fulfilled within (themselves. *N+kO)

Jetzt aber komme ich zu dir; und dieses rede ich in der Welt, auf daß sie meine Freude völlig in sich haben.

14 I myself have given to them the word of You, and the world hated them, because not they are of the world even as I myself not am of the world.

Ich habe ihnen dein Wort gegeben, und die Welt hat sie gehaßt, weil sie nicht von der Welt sind, gleichwie ich nicht von der Welt bin.

15 Not I do ask that You may take them out of the world but that You may keep them from evil.

Ich bitte nicht, daß du sie aus der Welt wegnehmest, sondern daß du sie bewahrest vor dem Bösen.

16 Of the world not they are even as I myself not am of the world.

Sie sind nicht von der Welt, gleichwie ich nicht von der Welt bin.

17 do sanctify them by the truth (of you; *k) the word of You truth is.

Heilige sie durch die [O. in [der]] Wahrheit: dein Wort ist Wahrheit.

18 Even as Me myself You sent into the world, I myself also I myself also sent them into the world.

Gleichwie du mich in die Welt gesandt hast, habe auch ich sie in die Welt gesandt;

19 and for them I myself sanctify Myself, that may be also they themselves sanctified in truth.

und ich heilige mich selbst für sie, auf daß auch sie Geheiligte seien durch [O. in [der]] Wahrheit.

20 Not for these however do I ask only but also for those (are believing *N+kO) through the word of them in Me myself;

Aber nicht für diese allein bitte ich, sondern auch für die, welche durch ihr Wort an mich glauben;

21 that all one may be even as You yourself, (Father, *NK+o) [are] in Me myself and I myself and I myself in You, that also they themselves in Us (one *KO) may be; that the world (may believe *N+kO) that You yourself Me sent.

auf daß sie alle eins seien, gleichwie du, Vater, in mir und ich in dir, auf daß auch sie in uns eins seien, auf daß die Welt glaube, daß du mich gesandt hast.

22 And I myself And I myself the glory which You have given Me I have given to them, so that they may be one even as We ourselves one — (are; *k)

Und die Herrlichkeit, die du mir gegeben hast, habe ich ihnen gegeben, auf daß sie eins seien, gleichwie wir eins sind;

23 I myself in them and You in Me myself — that they may be perfected in unity, (and *k) so that may know the world that You yourself Me sent and You loved them even as Me myself You loved.

ich in ihnen und du in mir, auf daß sie in eins vollendet seien, und auf daß die Welt erkenne, daß du mich gesandt und sie geliebt hast, gleichwie du mich geliebt hast.

24 (Father, *NK+o) (that [one] *N+kO) You have given Me I desire that where am I myself they also they also may be with Me, that they may behold glory of Mine that (You have given *N+kO) Me because You loved Me before [the] foundation of [the] world.

Vater, ich will, daß die, welche du mir gegeben hast, auch bei mir seien, wo ich bin, [W. Vater, die [nach and. Les.: was] du mir gegeben hast, -ich will, wo ich bin, auch jene bei mir seien] auf daß sie meine Herrlichkeit schauen, die du mir gegeben hast, denn du hast mich geliebt vor Grundlegung der Welt.

25 (Father *NK+o) righteous, although the world You not has known, I myself now You have known, and these have known that You yourself Me sent;

Gerechter Vater! -und die Welt hat dich nicht erkannt; ich aber habe dich erkannt, und diese haben erkannt, daß du mich gesandt hast.

26 And I made known to them the name of You and will make [it] known, so that the love with which You loved Me in them may be and I myself and I myself in them.

Und ich habe ihnen deinen Namen kundgetan und werde ihn kundtun, auf daß die Liebe, womit du mich geliebt hast, in ihnen sei und ich in ihnen.
