John 17
1 These things spoke Jesus, and (having lifted up *N+kO) the eyes of Him to heaven (and *k) He said; Father, has come the hour; do glorify Your Son, that (also *k) the Son (of you *k) may glorify You.
Après avoir ainsi parlé, Jésus leva les yeux au ciel, et dit: Père, l’heure est venue! Glorifie ton Fils, afin que ton Fils te glorifie,
2 Even as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that all whom You have given to Him, (He may give *NK+o) to them life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
selon que tu lui as donné pouvoir sur toute chair, afin qu’il accorde la vie éternelle à tous ceux que tu lui as donnés. (aiōnios g166)
3 This now is eternal life that they may know You the only true God and whom You have sent Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
Or, la vie éternelle, c’est qu’ils te connaissent, toi, le seul vrai Dieu, et celui que tu as envoyé, Jésus-Christ. (aiōnios g166)
4 I myself You glorified on the earth the work (having completed *N+kO) that You have given Me that I may do.
Je t’ai glorifié sur la terre, j’ai achevé l’œuvre que tu m’as donnée à faire.
5 And now do glorify Me You yourself, Father, with Yourself with the glory that I had before the world existing with You.
Et maintenant toi, Père, glorifie-moi auprès de toi-même de la gloireque j’avais auprès de toi avant que le monde fût.
6 I revealed Your name to the men whom (you gave *N+kO) Me out of the world; Yours they were and to Me and to Me them (You gave *N+kO) and the word of You they have kept.
J’ai fait connaître ton nom aux hommes que tu m’as donnés du milieu du monde. Ils étaient à toi, et tu me les as donnés; et ils ont gardé ta parole.
7 Now they have known that all things as much as (You have given *NK+o) Me of You (are; *N+kO)
Maintenant ils ont connu que tout ce que tu m’as donné vient de toi.
8 for the declarations that (You gave *N+kO) Me I have given to them; and they themselves received [them] and they knew truly that from You I came forth, and they believed that You yourself Me sent.
Car je leur ai donné les paroles que tu m’as données; et ils les ont reçues, et ils ont vraiment connu que je suis sorti de toi, et ils ont cru que tu m’as envoyé.
9 I myself concerning them am praying; Not concerning the world do I pray but concerning those whom You have given Me, for Yours they are;
C’est pour eux que je prie. Je ne prie pas pour le monde, mais pour ceux que tu m’as donnés, parce qu’ils sont à toi;
10 And the [things] of mine all Yours are and Yours Mine; and I have been glorified in them.
ettout ce qui est à moi est à toi, et ce qui est à toi est à moi; et je suis glorifié en eux.
11 And no longer no longer I am in the world, and yet (themselves *N+kO) in the world they are, and I myself and I myself to You am coming. Father Holy, do keep them in the name of You (which [name] *N+KO) You have given to Me that they may be one even as (also *o) we ourselves [are].
Je ne suis plus dans le monde, et ils sont dans le monde, et je vais à toi. Père saint, garde en ton nom ceux que tu m’as donnés, afin qu’ils soient un comme nous.
12 When I was with them (in world *K) I myself was keeping them in the name of You (which [name] *N+KO) You have given to Me (And *no) I guarded [them], and none of them has perished only except the son of destruction, that the Scripture may be fulfilled.
Lorsque j’étais avec eux dans le monde, je les gardais en ton nom. J’ai gardé ceux que tu m’as donnés, et aucun d’eux ne s’est perdu, sinon le fils de perdition, afin que l’Écriture fût accomplie.
13 Now however to You I am coming and these things I speak in the world, so that they may have joy of Mine fulfilled within (themselves. *N+kO)
Et maintenant je vais à toi, et je dis ces choses dans le monde, afin qu’ils aient en eux ma joie parfaite.
14 I myself have given to them the word of You, and the world hated them, because not they are of the world even as I myself not am of the world.
Je leur ai donné ta parole; et le monde les a haïs, parce qu’ils ne sont pas du monde, comme moi je ne suis pas du monde.
15 Not I do ask that You may take them out of the world but that You may keep them from evil.
Je ne te prie pas de les ôter du monde, mais de les préserver du mal.
16 Of the world not they are even as I myself not am of the world.
Ils ne sont pas du monde, comme moi je ne suis pas du monde.
17 do sanctify them by the truth (of you; *k) the word of You truth is.
Sanctifie-les par ta vérité: ta parole est la vérité.
18 Even as Me myself You sent into the world, I myself also I myself also sent them into the world.
Comme tu m’as envoyé dans le monde, je les ai aussi envoyés dans le monde.
19 and for them I myself sanctify Myself, that may be also they themselves sanctified in truth.
Et je me sanctifie moi-même pour eux, afin qu’eux aussi soient sanctifiés par la vérité.
20 Not for these however do I ask only but also for those (are believing *N+kO) through the word of them in Me myself;
Ce n’est pas pour eux seulement que je prie, mais encore pour ceux qui croiront en moi par leur parole,
21 that all one may be even as You yourself, (Father, *NK+o) [are] in Me myself and I myself and I myself in You, that also they themselves in Us (one *KO) may be; that the world (may believe *N+kO) that You yourself Me sent.
afin que tous soient un, comme toi, Père, tu es en moi, et comme je suis en toi, afin qu’eux aussi soient un en nous, pour que le monde croie que tu m’as envoyé.
22 And I myself And I myself the glory which You have given Me I have given to them, so that they may be one even as We ourselves one — (are; *k)
Je leur ai donné la gloire que tu m’as donnée, afin qu’ils soient un comme nous sommes un,
23 I myself in them and You in Me myself — that they may be perfected in unity, (and *k) so that may know the world that You yourself Me sent and You loved them even as Me myself You loved.
moi en eux, et toi en moi, afin qu’ils soient parfaitement un, et que le monde connaisse que tu m’as envoyé et que tu les as aimés comme tu m’as aimé.
24 (Father, *NK+o) (that [one] *N+kO) You have given Me I desire that where am I myself they also they also may be with Me, that they may behold glory of Mine that (You have given *N+kO) Me because You loved Me before [the] foundation of [the] world.
Père, je veux que là où je suis ceux que tu m’as donnés soient aussi avec moi, afin qu’ils voient ma gloire, la gloire que tu m’as donnée, parce que tu m’as aimé avant la fondation du monde.
25 (Father *NK+o) righteous, although the world You not has known, I myself now You have known, and these have known that You yourself Me sent;
Père juste, le monde ne t’a point connu; mais moi je t’ai connu, et ceux-ci ont connu que tu m’as envoyé.
26 And I made known to them the name of You and will make [it] known, so that the love with which You loved Me in them may be and I myself and I myself in them.
Je leur ai fait connaître ton nom, et je le leur ferai connaître, afin que l’amour dont tu m’as aimé soit en eux, et que je sois en eux.
