John 15

1 I myself am the vine true, and the Father of Mine the vinedresser is.

»Jag är det sanna vinträdet, och min Fader är vingårdsmannen.

2 Every branch in Me myself not bearing fruit He takes away it, and every one fruit bearing He prunes it that fruit more it may bear.

Var gren i mig, som icke bär frukt, den tager han bort; och var och en som bär frukt, den rensar han, för att den skall bära mer frukt.

3 Already you yourselves clean are because of the word that I have spoken to you.

I ären redan nu rena, i kraft av det ord som jag har talat till eder.

4 do abide in Me myself and I myself and I myself in you. Even as the branch not is able fruit to bear of itself only unless (it shall abide *N+kO) in the vine, so neither [are able] you only unless in Me myself (you shall abide. *N+kO)

Förbliven i mig, så förbliver ock jag i eder. Såsom grenen icke kan bära frukt av sig själv, utan allenast om den förbliver i vinträdet, så kunnen I det ej heller, om I icke förbliven i mig.

5 I myself am the vine, you [are] the branches. The [one] abiding in Me myself and I myself and I myself in him, he bears fruit much; For apart from Me not you are able to do no [thing].

Jag är vinträdet, I ären grenarna. Om någon förbliver i mig, och jag i honom, så bär han mycken frukt; ty mig förutan kunnen I intet göra.

6 Only unless someone (shall abide *N+kO) in Me myself, he is thrown out like the branch and is dried up, and they gather them and into the fire cast, and it is burned.

Om någon icke förbliver i mig, så kastas han ut såsom en avbruten gren och förtorkas; och man samlar tillhopa sådana grenar och kastar dem i elden, och de brännas upp.

7 If you shall abide in Me myself and the declarations of Mine in you shall abide, whatever if you shall wish (do yourself ask *N+kO) and it will happen to you.

Om I förbliven i mig, och mina ord förbliva i eder, så mån I bedja om vadhelst I viljen, och det skall vederfaras eder.

8 In this is glorified the Father of Mine, that fruit much you may bear and (you may become *N+kO) to Me disciples.

Därigenom bliver min Fader förhärligad, att i bären mycken frukt och bliven mina lärjungar.

9 even as has loved Me the Father, I myself also I myself also you loved; do abide in the love of Mine.

Såsom Fadern har älskat mig, så har ock jag älskat eder; förbliven i min kärlek.

10 If the commandments of Mine you shall keep, you will abide in the love of Mine; even as I myself the commandments of the Father of Mine have kept, and I abide of Him in the love.

Om I hållen mina bud, så förbliven I i min kärlek, likasom jag har hållit min Faders bud och förbliver i hans kärlek.

11 These things I have spoken to you that joy of Mine in you (may be *N+KO) and the joy of you may be full.

Detta har jag talat till eder, för att min glädje skall bo i eder, och för att eder glädje skall bliva fullkomlig.

12 This is commandment of Mine that you may love one another even as I loved you.

Detta är mitt bud, att I skolen älska varandra, såsom jag har älskat eder.

13 Greater than this love no [one] has that one the life of him may lay down for the friends of him.

Ingen har större kärlek, än att han giver sitt liv för sina vänner.

14 You yourselves friends of Mine are if you shall do (what things *n+o) (as much as *K) I myself command you.

I ären mina vänner, om I gören vad jag bjuder eder.

15 no longer no longer I name you servants, for the servant not knows what is doing his master; You however I have called friends, because all things that I heard from the Father of Mine I have made known to you.

Jag kallar eder nu icke längre tjänare, ty tjänaren får icke veta vad hans herre gör; vänner kallar jag eder, ty allt vad jag har hört av min Fader har jag kungjort för eder.

16 Not you yourselves Me chose, but I myself chose you and appointed you that you yourselves may go and fruit you may bear, and the fruit of you may remain; so that (which one *NK+o) maybe you may ask the Father in the name of Me, He may give you.

I haven icke utvalt mig, utan jag har utvalt eder; och jag har bestämt om eder att I skolen gå åstad och bära frukt, sådan frukt som bliver beståndande, på det att Fadern må giva eder vadhelst I bedjen honom om i mitt namn.

17 These things I command you that you may love one another.

Ja, det bjuder jag eder, att I skolen älska varandra.

18 If the world you hates, you know that Me myself before you it has hated.

Om världen hatar eder, så betänken att hon har hatat mig förr än eder.

19 If of the world you were, the world then would [as its] own was loving [you]; because however of the world not you are, but I myself chose you out of the world, on account of this hates you the world.

Voren I av världen, så älskade ju världen vad henne tillhörde; men eftersom I icke ären av världen, utan av mig haven blivit utvalda och tagna ut ur världen, därför hatar världen eder.

20 do remember the word that I myself said to you: Not is a servant greater than the master of him. If Me myself they persecuted also you they will persecute; if the word of Mine they kept also yours they will keep.

Kommen ihåg det ord som jag sade till eder: 'Tjänaren är icke förmer än sin herre.' Hava de förföljt mig, så skola de ock förfölja eder; hava de hållit mitt ord, så skola de ock hålla edert.

21 But these things all they will do (against *no) (you *N+kO) on account of the name of Me, because not they know the [One] having sent Me.

Men allt detta skola de göra mot eder för mitt namns skull, eftersom de icke känna honom som har sänt mig.

22 only unless I come and I said to them, sin not they had; now however excuse not they have for the sin of them.

Hade jag icke kommit och talat till dem, så skulle de icke hava haft synd; men nu hava de ingen ursäkt för sin synd.

23 The [one] Me myself hating also the Father of Mine hates.

Den som hatar mig, han hatar ock min Fader.

24 If the works not I had done among them that no other (did, *N+kO) sin not they had; now however both they have seen and have hated both Me myself and the Father of Mine;

Hade jag icke bland dem gjort sådana gärningar, som ingen annan har gjort, så skulle de icke hava haft synd; men nu hava de sett dem, och hava likväl hatat både mig och min Fader.

25 But [this is] that may be fulfilled the word in the law of them written that They hated Me without cause.’

Men det ordet skulle ju fullbordas, som är skrivet i deras lag: 'De hava hatat mig utan sak.'

26 When (now *ko) may come the Helper whom I myself will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who from the Father goes forth, He will bear witness concerning Me;

Dock, när Hjälparen kommer, som jag skall sända eder ifrån Fadern, sanningens Ande, som utgår ifrån Fadern, då skall han vittna om mig.

27 Also you yourselves now bear witness, because from [the] beginning with Me you are.

Också I kunnen vittna, eftersom I haven varit med mig från begynnelsen.»
