John 15
1 I myself am the vine true, and the Father of Mine the vinedresser is.
Ko ahau te waina pono, ko toku Matua te kaimahi.
2 Every branch in Me myself not bearing fruit He takes away it, and every one fruit bearing He prunes it that fruit more it may bear.
Ko nga manga katoa i roto i ahau e kore e whai hua, e tangohia e ia: ko nga mea katoa hoki e whai hua ana, ka whakapaia e ia, kia maha atu ai ona hua.
3 Already you yourselves clean are because of the word that I have spoken to you.
Na kua ma tenei koutou i te kupu i korerotia e ahau ki a koutou.
4 do abide in Me myself and I myself and I myself in you. Even as the branch not is able fruit to bear of itself only unless (it shall abide *N+kO) in the vine, so neither [are able] you only unless in Me myself (you shall abide. *N+kO)
Kia u koutou ki roto ki ahau, me ahau hoki ki roto ki a koutou. Ka rite hoki ki te manga e kore e whai hua ko ia anake, ki te kahore e u ki te waina; e kore ano hoki koutou, ki te kore e u ki roto ki ahau.
5 I myself am the vine, you [are] the branches. The [one] abiding in Me myself and I myself and I myself in him, he bears fruit much; For apart from Me not you are able to do no [thing].
Ko ahau te waina, ko koutou nga manga: ki te u tetahi ki roto ki ahau, me ahau hoki ki roto ki a ia, ka maha o tera hua: ki te motu ke hoki i ahau, e kore tetahi mea e taea e koutou.
6 Only unless someone (shall abide *N+kO) in Me myself, he is thrown out like the branch and is dried up, and they gather them and into the fire cast, and it is burned.
Ki te kore e u tetahi ki roto ki ahau, ka maka atu ia, ano he manga, a ka maroke; na ka kohikohia, ka maka ki te kapura, ka tahuna.
7 If you shall abide in Me myself and the declarations of Mine in you shall abide, whatever if you shall wish (do yourself ask *N+kO) and it will happen to you.
Ki te u koutou ki roto ki ahau, ki te u ano aku kupu ki roto ki a koutou, inoia e koutou ta koutou e pai ai, a ka meatia ma koutou.
8 In this is glorified the Father of Mine, that fruit much you may bear and (you may become *N+kO) to Me disciples.

9 even as has loved Me the Father, I myself also I myself also you loved; do abide in the love of Mine.
Rite tonu ki to te Matua aroha ki ahau toku aroha ki a koutou: kia u ki toku aroha.
10 If the commandments of Mine you shall keep, you will abide in the love of Mine; even as I myself the commandments of the Father of Mine have kept, and I abide of Him in the love.
Ki te pupuri koutou i aku ture, ka u koutou ki toku aroha: me ahau hoki kua pupuri nei i nga ture a toku Matua, ka u nei ki tona aroha.
11 These things I have spoken to you that joy of Mine in you (may be *N+KO) and the joy of you may be full.
Kua korerotia enei mea e ahau ki a koutou, kia pumau ai toku koa i roto i a koutou, kia tino ki ai to koutou koa.
12 This is commandment of Mine that you may love one another even as I loved you.
Ko taku ture tenei, Kia aroha koutou tetahi ki tetahi, me ahau hoki kua aroha nei ki a koutou.
13 Greater than this love no [one] has that one the life of him may lay down for the friends of him.
Kahore he aroha o tetahi i rahi ake i tenei, ara kia tuku te tangata i a ia ano kia mate mo ona hoa.
14 You yourselves friends of Mine are if you shall do (what things *n+o) (as much as *K) I myself command you.
Ko koutou oku hoa, ki te meatia e koutou aku e whakahau nei ki a koutou.
15 no longer no longer I name you servants, for the servant not knows what is doing his master; You however I have called friends, because all things that I heard from the Father of Mine I have made known to you.
Heoi ano taku meatanga he pononga koutou; e kore hoki te pononga e mohio ki ta tona ariki e mea ai: engari kua oti koutou te hua e ahau he hoa; ko aku mea katoa hoki i rongo ai ahau ki toku Matua, kua oti te whakakite e ahau ki a koutou.
16 Not you yourselves Me chose, but I myself chose you and appointed you that you yourselves may go and fruit you may bear, and the fruit of you may remain; so that (which one *NK+o) maybe you may ask the Father in the name of Me, He may give you.
Kahore koutou i whiriwhiri i ahau, engari naku koutou i whiriwhiri, naku ano koutou i mea kia haere, kia whai hua, kia mau tonu hoki o koutou hua: a ko ta koutou e inoi ai ki te Matua i runga i toku ingoa, ka hoatu e ia ki a koutou.
17 These things I command you that you may love one another.
Ko aku whakahau enei ki a koutou, kia aroha koutou tetahi ki tetahi.
18 If the world you hates, you know that Me myself before you it has hated.
Ki te mea e kinongia ana koutou e te ao, e mohio ana koutou i kinongia ahau i mua i a koutou.
19 If of the world you were, the world then would [as its] own was loving [you]; because however of the world not you are, but I myself chose you out of the world, on account of this hates you the world.
Mehemea no te ao koutou, e arohaina e te ao ona: tena ko tenei ehara nei koutou i te ao, naku koutou i whiriwhiri i roto i te ao, koia te ao ka kino ai ki a koutou.
20 do remember the word that I myself said to you: Not is a servant greater than the master of him. If Me myself they persecuted also you they will persecute; if the word of Mine they kept also yours they will keep.
Kia mahara ki te kupu i korero ai ahau ki a koutou, kahore te pononga e rahi ake i tona ariki. Ki te mea i whakatoia ahau e ratou, ka whakatoia ano koutou; ki te mea i pupuri ratou i taku kupu, ka pupuri ano ratou i ta koutou.
21 But these things all they will do (against *no) (you *N+kO) on account of the name of Me, because not they know the [One] having sent Me.

22 only unless I come and I said to them, sin not they had; now however excuse not they have for the sin of them.

23 The [one] Me myself hating also the Father of Mine hates.
Ko te tangata e whakakino ana ki ahau, e whakakino ana hoki ki toku Matua.
24 If the works not I had done among them that no other (did, *N+kO) sin not they had; now however both they have seen and have hated both Me myself and the Father of Mine;
Me i kaua te mahia e ahau i roto i a ratou nga mahi kahore i mahia e tetahi atu, penei kahore o ratou hara: tena ko tenei kua kite ratou, kua whakakino ano hoki ki a maua tahi ko toku Matua.
25 But [this is] that may be fulfilled the word in the law of them written that They hated Me without cause.’
Ma tenei ia ka rite ai te kupu i tuhituhia ki ta ratou ture, Kua kino noa ratou ki ahau.
26 When (now *ko) may come the Helper whom I myself will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who from the Father goes forth, He will bear witness concerning Me;
Otiia ka tae mai te Kaiwhakamarie e tonoa mai e ahau ki a koutou i te Matua, te Wairua o te pono, e puta mai ana i te Matua, ko ia hei kaiwhakaatu moku:
27 Also you yourselves now bear witness, because from [the] beginning with Me you are.
Ko koutou ano hoki hei kaiwhakaatu, no te mea i ahau koutou no te timatanga iho ra ano.
