John 15

1 I myself am the vine true, and the Father of Mine the vinedresser is.

Ik ben de ware Wijnstok, en Mijn Vader is de Landman.

2 Every branch in Me myself not bearing fruit He takes away it, and every one fruit bearing He prunes it that fruit more it may bear.

Alle rank, die in Mij geen vrucht draagt, die neemt Hij weg; en al wie vrucht draagt, die reinigt Hij, opdat zij meer vrucht drage.

3 Already you yourselves clean are because of the word that I have spoken to you.

Gijlieden zijt nu rein om het woord, dat Ik tot u gesproken heb.

4 do abide in Me myself and I myself and I myself in you. Even as the branch not is able fruit to bear of itself only unless (it shall abide *N+kO) in the vine, so neither [are able] you only unless in Me myself (you shall abide. *N+kO)

Blijft in Mij, en Ik in u. Gelijkerwijs de rank geen vrucht kan dragen van zichzelve, zo zij niet in den wijnstok blijft; alzo ook gij niet, zo gij in Mij niet blijft.

5 I myself am the vine, you [are] the branches. The [one] abiding in Me myself and I myself and I myself in him, he bears fruit much; For apart from Me not you are able to do no [thing].

Ik ben de Wijnstok, en gij de ranken; die in Mij blijft, en Ik in hem, die draagt veel vrucht; want zonder Mij kunt gij niets doen.

6 Only unless someone (shall abide *N+kO) in Me myself, he is thrown out like the branch and is dried up, and they gather them and into the fire cast, and it is burned.

Zo iemand in Mij niet blijft, die is buiten geworpen, gelijkerwijs de rank, en is verdord; en men vergadert dezelve, en men werpt ze in het vuur, en zij worden verbrand.

7 If you shall abide in Me myself and the declarations of Mine in you shall abide, whatever if you shall wish (do yourself ask *N+kO) and it will happen to you.

Indien gij in Mij blijft, en Mijn woorden in u blijven, zo wat gij wilt, zult gij begeren, en het zal u geschieden.

8 In this is glorified the Father of Mine, that fruit much you may bear and (you may become *N+kO) to Me disciples.

Hierin is Mijn Vader verheerlijkt, dat gij veel vrucht draagt; en gij zult Mijn discipelen zijn.

9 even as has loved Me the Father, I myself also I myself also you loved; do abide in the love of Mine.

Gelijkerwijs de Vader Mij liefgehad heeft, heb Ik ook u liefgehad; blijft in deze Mijn liefde.

10 If the commandments of Mine you shall keep, you will abide in the love of Mine; even as I myself the commandments of the Father of Mine have kept, and I abide of Him in the love.

Indien gij Mijn geboden bewaart, zo zult gij in Mijn liefde blijven; gelijkerwijs Ik de geboden Mijns Vaders bewaard heb, en blijf in Zijn liefde.

11 These things I have spoken to you that joy of Mine in you (may be *N+KO) and the joy of you may be full.

Deze dingen heb Ik tot u gesproken, opdat Mijn blijdschap in u blijve, en uw blijdschap vervuld worde.

12 This is commandment of Mine that you may love one another even as I loved you.

Dit is Mijn gebod, dat gij elkander liefhebt, gelijkerwijs Ik u liefgehad heb.

13 Greater than this love no [one] has that one the life of him may lay down for the friends of him.

Niemand heeft meerder liefde dan deze, dat iemand zijn leven zette voor zijn vrienden.

14 You yourselves friends of Mine are if you shall do (what things *n+o) (as much as *K) I myself command you.

Gij zijt Mijn vrienden, zo gij doet wat Ik u gebiede.

15 no longer no longer I name you servants, for the servant not knows what is doing his master; You however I have called friends, because all things that I heard from the Father of Mine I have made known to you.

Ik heet u niet meer dienstknechten; want de dienstknecht weet niet, wat zijn heer doet; maar Ik heb u vrienden genoemd; want al wat Ik van Mijn Vader gehoord heb, dat heb Ik u bekend gemaakt.

16 Not you yourselves Me chose, but I myself chose you and appointed you that you yourselves may go and fruit you may bear, and the fruit of you may remain; so that (which one *NK+o) maybe you may ask the Father in the name of Me, He may give you.

Gij hebt Mij niet uitverkoren, maar Ik heb u uitverkoren, en Ik heb u gesteld, dat gij zoudt heengaan en vrucht dragen, en dat uw vrucht blijve; opdat, zo wat gij van den Vader begeren zult in Mijn Naam, Hij u dat geve.

17 These things I command you that you may love one another.

Dit gebied Ik u, opdat gij elkander liefhebt.

18 If the world you hates, you know that Me myself before you it has hated.

Indien u de wereld haat, zo weet, dat zij Mij eer dan u gehaat heeft.

19 If of the world you were, the world then would [as its] own was loving [you]; because however of the world not you are, but I myself chose you out of the world, on account of this hates you the world.

Indien gij van de wereld waart, zo zou de wereld het hare liefhebben; doch omdat gij van de wereld niet zijt, maar Ik u uit de wereld heb uitverkoren, daarom haat u de wereld.

20 do remember the word that I myself said to you: Not is a servant greater than the master of him. If Me myself they persecuted also you they will persecute; if the word of Mine they kept also yours they will keep.

Gedenk des woords, dat Ik u gezegd heb: Een dienstknecht is niet meerder dan zijn heer. Indien zij Mij vervolgd hebben, zij zullen ook u vervolgen; indien zij Mijn woord bewaard hebben, zij zullen ook het uwe bewaren.

21 But these things all they will do (against *no) (you *N+kO) on account of the name of Me, because not they know the [One] having sent Me.

Maar al deze dingen zullen zij doen om Mijns Naams wil, omdat zij Hem niet kennen, Die Mij gezonden heeft.

22 only unless I come and I said to them, sin not they had; now however excuse not they have for the sin of them.

Indien Ik niet gekomen ware, en tot hen gesproken had, zij hadden geen zonde; maar nu hebben zij geen voorwendsel voor hun zonde.

23 The [one] Me myself hating also the Father of Mine hates.

Die Mij haat, die haat ook Mijn Vader.

24 If the works not I had done among them that no other (did, *N+kO) sin not they had; now however both they have seen and have hated both Me myself and the Father of Mine;

Indien Ik de werken onder hen niet had gedaan, die niemand anders gedaan heeft, zij hadden geen zonde; maar nu hebben zij ze gezien, en beiden Mij en Mijn Vader gehaat.

25 But [this is] that may be fulfilled the word in the law of them written that They hated Me without cause.’

Maar dit geschiedt, opdat het woord vervuld worde, dat in hun wet geschreven is: Zij hebben mij zonder oorzaak gehaat.

26 When (now *ko) may come the Helper whom I myself will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who from the Father goes forth, He will bear witness concerning Me;

Maar wanneer de Trooster zal gekomen zijn, Dien Ik u zenden zal van den Vader, namelijk de Geest der waarheid, Die van den Vader uitgaat, Die zal van Mij getuigen.

27 Also you yourselves now bear witness, because from [the] beginning with Me you are.

En gij zult ook getuigen, want gij zijt van den beginne met Mij geweest.
