John 11
1 Was now a certain [man] ailing, Lazarus of Bethany of the village of Mary and Martha the sister of her;
A był chory pewien [człowiek], Łazarz z Betanii, z miasteczka Marii i jej siostry Marty.
2 Was now Mary the [one] having anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and having wiped the feet of Him with the hair of her, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
A to była ta Maria, która namaściła Pana maścią i wycierała jego nogi swoimi włosami. Jej to brat, Łazarz, chorował.
3 Sent therefore the sisters to Him saying; Lord, behold [he] whom You love was being sick.
Siostry więc posłały do niego [wiadomość]: Panie, oto ten, którego miłujesz, choruje.
4 Having heard then Jesus said; This sickness not is unto death but for the glory of God that may be glorified the Son of God through it.
A gdy Jezus to usłyszał, powiedział: Ta choroba nie jest na śmierć, ale na chwałę Bożą, aby przez nią był uwielbiony Syn Boży.
5 was loving now Jesus Martha and the sister of her and Lazarus.
Jezus zaś miłował Martę i jej siostrę, i Łazarza.
6 When therefore He heard that he is sick, then indeed He remained in which He was [the] place two days.
A gdy usłyszał, że choruje, został jeszcze dwa dni w miejscu, w którym przebywał.
7 Then after this He says to the disciples; Let us go into Judea again.
Lecz potem powiedział do swoich uczniów: Chodźmy znowu do Judei.
8 Say to Him the disciples; Rabbi, just now were seeking You to stone the Jews, and again You are going there?
Uczniowie mu powiedzieli: Mistrzu, Żydzi dopiero co usiłowali cię ukamienować, a znowu tam idziesz?
9 Answered Jesus; Surely twelve hours are there in the day? If anyone shall walk in the day, not he stumbles, because the light of the world this he sees.
Jezus odpowiedział: Czyż dzień nie ma dwunastu godzin? Jeśli ktoś chodzi we dnie, nie potknie się, bo widzi światłość tego świata.
10 if however anyone shall walk in the night, he stumbles, because the light not is in him.
A jeśli ktoś chodzi w nocy, potknie się, bo nie ma w nim światłości.
11 These things He said and after this He says to them; Lazarus the friend of us has fallen asleep; but I go that I may awaken him.
To powiedział, a potem dodał: Łazarz, nasz przyjaciel, śpi, ale idę, aby obudzić go ze snu.
12 Said therefore the disciples (to Him; *N+KO) Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will get well.
Wtedy jego uczniowie powiedzieli: Panie, jeśli śpi, będzie zdrowy.
13 Had spoken however Jesus of the death of him; they however thought that of the rest of sleep He speaks.
Ale Jezus mówił o jego śmierci, lecz oni myśleli, że mówił o zaśnięciu [zwykłym] snem.
14 Then therefore said to them Jesus plainly; Lazarus has died.
Wówczas Jezus powiedział im otwarcie: Łazarz umarł.
15 And I rejoice for sake of you, in order that you may believe, that not I was there; But let us go to him.
I ze względu na was raduję się, że mnie tam nie było, abyście uwierzyli. Ale chodźmy do niego.
16 Said therefore Thomas who is being named Didymus to the fellow disciples; Let us go also us that we may die with Him.
Wtedy Tomasz, zwany Didymos, powiedział do współuczniów: Chodźmy i my, aby z nim umrzeć.
17 Having come therefore Jesus found him four already days having been in the tomb.
Kiedy Jezus przyszedł, zastał go już cztery dni leżącego w grobie.
18 Was now Bethany near Jerusalem about away stadia fifteen.
A Betania była niedaleko Jerozolimy, [w odległości] około piętnastu stadiów.
19 (and *k) Many (now *no) of the Jews had come unto (concerning *k) Martha and Mary that they may console them concerning the brother (of them. *k)
A wielu Żydów przyszło do Marty i Marii, aby je pocieszyć po [stracie] brata.
20 Therefore Martha, when she heard that Jesus is coming, met with Him; Mary however in the house was sitting.
Gdy Marta usłyszała, że Jezus nadchodzi, wybiegła mu naprzeciw. Ale Maria siedziała w domu.
21 Said then Martha to Jesus; Lord, if You had been here, not then would (be dead *N+kO) the brother of mine.
I powiedziała Marta do Jezusa: Panie, gdybyś tu był, mój brat by nie umarł.
22 Nevertheless even now I know that as much as maybe You may ask God will give You God.
Ale i teraz wiem, że Bóg da tobie, o cokolwiek go poprosisz.
23 Says to her Jesus; Will rise again the brother of you.
Jezus jej odpowiedział: Twój brat zmartwychwstanie.
24 Says to him Martha; I know that he will rise again in the resurrection in the last day.
Marta mu powiedziała: Wiem, że zmartwychwstanie przy zmartwychwstaniu w dniu ostatecznym.
25 Said to her Jesus; I myself am the resurrection and the life; the [one] believing in Me myself even if even if he shall die he will live,

26 and everyone who is living and believing in Me myself certainly not he shall die to the age. Believe you this? (aiōn g165)

27 She says to Him; Yes Lord; I myself have believed that You yourself are the Christ the Son of God the [One] into the world coming.
Odpowiedziała mu: Tak, Panie. Ja uwierzyłam, że ty jesteś Chrystusem, Synem Bożym, który miał przyjść na świat.
28 And (these things *N+kO) having said she went away and she called Mary the sister of her secretly having said; The Teacher is come and He calls you.
A to powiedziawszy, poszła i potajemnie zawołała swoją siostrę Marię, i powiedziała: Jest tu Nauczyciel i woła cię.
29 She (then *no) when she heard ([she] rose up *N+kO) quickly and (was coming *N+kO) to Him.
Gdy tylko ona to usłyszała, zaraz wstała i poszła do niego.
30 Not yet now had come Jesus into the village, but was (still *no) in the place where met with Him Martha.
A Jezus jeszcze nie wszedł do miasteczka, lecz był na tym miejscu, gdzie Marta wyszła mu naprzeciw.
31 The then Jews who are being with her in the house and consoling her, having seen Mary that soon she rose up and went out, followed after her, (having supposed *N+KO) that she is going to the tomb that she may weep there.
Wtedy Żydzi, którzy byli z nią w domu i pocieszali ją, widząc, że Maria szybko wstała i wyszła, poszli za nią, mówiąc: Idzie do grobu, aby tam płakać.
32 Therefore Mary when she came to where was Jesus, having seen Him she fell of Him (at *N+kO) the feet saying to Him; Lord, if You had been here, not then would my have died brother.
A gdy Maria przyszła tam, gdzie był Jezus, ujrzała go, przypadła mu do nóg i powiedziała: Panie, gdybyś tu był, mój brat by nie umarł.
33 Jesus therefore when He saw her weeping and the having come with her Jews weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled Himself
Kiedy Jezus zobaczył ją płaczącą i płaczących Żydów, którzy z nią przyszli, rozrzewnił się w duchu i zasmucił się.
34 And He said; Where have you laid him? They say to Him; Lord, do come and do see.
I zapytał: Gdzie go położyliście? Odpowiedzieli mu: Panie, chodź i zobacz.
35 Wept Jesus.
I Jezus zapłakał.
36 Were saying therefore the Jews; Behold how He was loving him!
Wtedy Żydzi powiedzieli: Patrzcie, jak go miłował.
37 Some however of them said; Surely was able this [man] who having opened the eyes of the blind to have caused that also this one not may have died?
A niektórzy z nich mówili: Czyż ten, który otworzył oczy ślepego, nie mógł sprawić, aby on nie umarł?
38 Jesus therefore again being deeply moved in Himself He comes to the tomb; It was now a cave, and a stone was lying against it.
Jezus zaś [ponownie] się rozrzewnił i przyszedł do grobu. Była to jaskinia, a u jej [wejścia] był położony kamień.
39 Says Jesus; do take away the stone. Says to Him the sister of the [one] (having deceased *N+kO) Martha; Lord, already he stinks; four days for it is.
I powiedział Jezus: Usuńcie ten kamień. Powiedziała do niego Marta, siostra zmarłego: Panie, już cuchnie, bo od czterech dni [leży] w grobie.
40 Says to her Jesus; Surely I said to you that if you shall believe you will see the glory of God?
Jezus jej rzekł: Czyż nie powiedziałem ci, że jeśli uwierzysz, ujrzysz chwałę Bożą?
41 They took away therefore the stone (where was who having died laid. *K) Now Jesus lifted [His] eyes upwards and said; Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
Wtedy usunęli kamień [z miejsca], gdzie był położony zmarły. Jezus zaś podniósł oczy w górę i powiedział: Ojcze, dziękuję ci, że mnie wysłuchałeś.
42 I myself and knew that always Me You hear; but on account of the crowd which already standing around I said [it], that they may believe that You yourself Me sent.
A ja wiedziałem, że mnie zawsze wysłuchujesz, ale powiedziałem to ze względu na stojących wokoło ludzi, aby uwierzyli, że ty mnie posłałeś.
43 And these things having said in a voice loud He cried out; Lazarus, come forth.
Gdy to powiedział, zawołał donośnym głosem: Łazarzu, wyjdź na zewnątrz!
44 (and *k) Came forth the [one] having died bound the feet and the hands with linen strips, and the face of him in a headcloth had bound about. Says to them Jesus: do unbind him and do allow him to go.
I wyszedł ten, który umarł, mając ręce i nogi powiązane opaskami, a twarz obwiązaną chustką. Powiedział do nich Jezus: Rozwiążcie go i pozwólcie mu odejść.
45 Many therefore of the Jews having come to Mary and having seen (what things *NK+o) He did (Jesus *k) believed in Him.
Wielu więc z Żydów, którzy przyszli do Marii i widzieli to, czego Jezus dokonał, uwierzyło w niego.
46 some however of them went to the Pharisees and told to them what did Jesus.
Lecz niektórzy z nich odeszli do faryzeuszy i powiedzieli im, co Jezus uczynił.
47 Gathered therefore the chief priests and the Pharisees a council and they were saying; What are we to do? For this man many does signs!
Wtedy naczelni kapłani i faryzeusze zebrali się na naradę i mówili: Co zrobimy? Bo ten człowiek czyni wiele cudów.
48 If we shall let him alone Him like this, all will believe in Him, and will come the Romans and will take away of us both the place and the nation.
Jeśli go tak zostawimy, wszyscy uwierzą w niego i przyjdą Rzymianie, i zabiorą [nam] to nasze miejsce i naród.
49 One however certain of them Caiaphas, high priest being on the year same, said to them; You yourselves not know no [thing],
A jeden z nich, Kajfasz, który był tego roku najwyższym kapłanem, powiedział do nich: Wy nic nie wiecie;
50 nor (consider you *N+kO) that it is profitable (for you *N+KO) that one man may die for the people, and not all the nation may perish.
I nie bierzecie pod uwagę, że pożyteczniej jest dla nas, żeby jeden człowiek umarł za lud, a żeby cały ten naród nie zginął.
51 This now from himself not he said, but high priest being on the year that he prophesied that was about Jesus to die for the nation,
A nie mówił tego sam od siebie, ale będąc tego roku najwyższym kapłanem, prorokował, że Jezus miał umrzeć za ten naród;
52 and not for the nation only but that also the children of God those scattered He may gather together into one.
A nie tylko za ten naród, ale też [po to], aby zgromadzić w jedno rozproszone dzieci Boże.
53 From that [very] therefore day (they plotted *N+kO) that they may kill Him.
Od tego więc dnia naradzali się wspólnie [nad tym], aby go zabić.
54 Therefore Jesus no longer no longer publicly was walking among the Jews, but went away from there into the region near the wilderness to Ephraim being named a city, And there And there (He stayed *N+kO) with the disciples (of him. *k)
A Jezus już nie chodził jawnie wśród Żydów, ale odszedł stamtąd do krainy, która leży w pobliżu pustyni, do miasta zwanego Efraim, i tam mieszkał ze swoimi uczniami.
55 Was now near the Passover of the Jews, and went up many to Jerusalem out of the region before the Passover so that they may purify themselves.
A zbliżała się Pascha żydowska. I wielu z tej okolicy szło do Jerozolimy przed Paschą, aby się oczyścić.
56 They were seeking therefore Jesus and were saying among one another in the temple already standing; What does it seem to you, that certainly not He may come to the feast?
Szukali Jezusa i stojąc w świątyni, mówili jedni do drugich: Czy myślicie, że nie przyjdzie na święto?
57 Had given now (also *k) the chief priests and the Pharisees (commands *N+KO) that if anyone shall know where He is he shall show [it], so that they may seize Him.
A naczelni kapłani i faryzeusze wydali nakaz, [aby], jeśli ktoś się dowie, gdzie jest, oznajmił [to], żeby go [mogli] schwytać.
