John 10
1 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] not entering in through the door to the fold of the sheep but climbing up another way, he a thief is and a robber;
ಅಹಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನತಿಯಥಾರ್ಥಂ ವದಾಮಿ, ಯೋ ಜನೋ ದ್ವಾರೇಣ ನ ಪ್ರವಿಶ್ಯ ಕೇನಾಪ್ಯನ್ಯೇನ ಮೇಷಗೃಹಂ ಪ್ರವಿಶತಿ ಸ ಏವ ಸ್ತೇನೋ ದಸ್ಯುಶ್ಚ|
2 The [one] however entering in through the door shepherd is of the sheep.
ಯೋ ದ್ವಾರೇಣ ಪ್ರವಿಶತಿ ಸ ಏವ ಮೇಷಪಾಲಕಃ|
3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep to the voice of him listen, and [his] own sheep (he shouts to *N+kO) by name and leads out them.
ದೌವಾರಿಕಸ್ತಸ್ಮೈ ದ್ವಾರಂ ಮೋಚಯತಿ ಮೇಷಗಣಶ್ಚ ತಸ್ಯ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಶೃಣೋತಿ ಸ ನಿಜಾನ್ ಮೇಷಾನ್ ಸ್ವಸ್ವನಾಮ್ನಾಹೂಯ ಬಹಿಃ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ನಯತಿ|
4 (and *k) When [his] own (all *N+KO) he may bring out, before them he goes, and the sheep after him follow, because they know the voice of him.
ತಥಾ ನಿಜಾನ್ ಮೇಷಾನ್ ಬಹಿಃ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಸ್ವಯಂ ತೇಷಾಮ್ ಅಗ್ರೇ ಗಚ್ಛತಿ, ತತೋ ಮೇಷಾಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ಶಬ್ದಂ ಬುಧ್ಯನ್ತೇ, ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ತಸ್ಯ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ವ್ರಜನ್ತಿ|
5 After a stranger however certainly not (they will follow *N+kO) but will flee from him, because not they know of strangers the voice.
ಕಿನ್ತು ಪರಸ್ಯ ಶಬ್ದಂ ನ ಬುಧ್ಯನ್ತೇ ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ತಸ್ಯ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ವ್ರಜಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ವರಂ ತಸ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪಾತ್ ಪಲಾಯಿಷ್ಯನ್ತೇ|
6 This allegory spoke to them Jesus; they however not knew what (it was *NK+o) that He was saying to them.
ಯೀಶುಸ್ತೇಭ್ಯ ಇಮಾಂ ದೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ತಕಥಾಮ್ ಅಕಥಯತ್ ಕಿನ್ತು ತೇನ ಕಥಿತಕಥಾಯಾಸ್ತಾತ್ಪರ್ಯ್ಯಂ ತೇ ನಾಬುಧ್ಯನ್ತ|
7 Said therefore again (to them *ko) Jesus; Amen Amen I say to you that I myself am the door of the sheep.
ಅತೋ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪುನರಕಥಯತ್, ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಾಹಂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತರಂ ವ್ಯಾಹರಾಮಿ, ಮೇಷಗೃಹಸ್ಯ ದ್ವಾರಮ್ ಅಹಮೇವ|
8 All as many as came before Me thieves are and robbers; but not did listen to them the sheep.
ಮಯಾ ನ ಪ್ರವಿಶ್ಯ ಯ ಆಗಚ್ಛನ್ ತೇ ಸ್ತೇನಾ ದಸ್ಯವಶ್ಚ ಕಿನ್ತು ಮೇಷಾಸ್ತೇಷಾಂ ಕಥಾ ನಾಶೃಣ್ವನ್|
9 I myself am the door; through Me if anyone shall enter in, he will be saved and he will go in and will go out and pasture will find.
ಅಹಮೇವ ದ್ವಾರಸ್ವರೂಪಃ, ಮಯಾ ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿತ ಪ್ರವಿಶತಿ ಸ ರಕ್ಷಾಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಸ್ಯತಿ ತಥಾ ಬಹಿರನ್ತಶ್ಚ ಗಮನಾಗಮನೇ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಚರಣಸ್ಥಾನಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಸ್ಯತಿ|
10 The thief not comes only except that he shall steal and shall kill and shall destroy; I myself came that life they may have and excessive may have.
ಯೋ ಜನಸ್ತೇನಃ ಸ ಕೇವಲಂ ಸ್ತೈನ್ಯಬಧವಿನಾಶಾನ್ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಮೇವ ಸಮಾಯಾತಿ ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಹಮ್ ಆಯು ರ್ದಾತುಮ್ ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ಬಾಹೂಲ್ಯೇನ ತದೇವ ದಾತುಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛಮ್|
11 I myself am the shepherd good; The shepherd good the life of Him lays down for the sheep.
ಅಹಮೇವ ಸತ್ಯಮೇಷಪಾಲಕೋ ಯಸ್ತು ಸತ್ಯೋ ಮೇಷಪಾಲಕಃ ಸ ಮೇಷಾರ್ಥಂ ಪ್ರಾಣತ್ಯಾಗಂ ಕರೋತಿ;
12 the hired servant (now *ko) however not being [the] shepherd, whose not (are *N+kO) the sheep [his] own, he sees the wolf coming and he leaves the sheep and flees — and the wolf snatches them and scatters. (sheep *k)
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮೇಷಪಾಲಕೋ ನ, ಅರ್ಥಾದ್ ಯಸ್ಯ ಮೇಷಾ ನಿಜಾ ನ ಭವನ್ತಿ, ಯ ಏತಾದೃಶೋ ವೈತನಿಕಃ ಸ ವೃಕಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಮೇಜವ್ರಜಂ ವಿಹಾಯ ಪಲಾಯತೇ, ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ವೃಕಸ್ತಂ ವ್ರಜಂ ಧೃತ್ವಾ ವಿಕಿರತಿ|
13 (this now *k+o) (hired servant *k) (flees *K) because a hired servant he is and not he is himself concerned to him about the sheep.
ವೈತನಿಕಃ ಪಲಾಯತೇ ಯತಃ ಸ ವೇತನಾರ್ಥೀ ಮೇಷಾರ್ಥಂ ನ ಚಿನ್ತಯತಿ|
14 I myself am the shepherd good and I know My own, and (they know *N+KO) (me those mine, *N+kO)
ಅಹಮೇವ ಸತ್ಯೋ ಮೇಷಪಾಲಕಃ, ಪಿತಾ ಮಾಂ ಯಥಾ ಜಾನಾತಿ, ಅಹಞ್ಚ ಯಥಾ ಪಿತರಂ ಜಾನಾಮಿ,
15 Even as knows Me the Father I myself also I myself also know the Father, and the life of Mine I lay down for the sheep.
ತಥಾ ನಿಜಾನ್ ಮೇಷಾನಪಿ ಜಾನಾಮಿ, ಮೇಷಾಶ್ಚ ಮಾಂ ಜಾನಾನ್ತಿ, ಅಹಞ್ಚ ಮೇಷಾರ್ಥಂ ಪ್ರಾಣತ್ಯಾಗಂ ಕರೋಮಿ|
16 And other sheep I have, which not are of fold this, those also those also it behooves Me to bring, and to the voice of Mine they will listen, and (they will become *N+KO) one flock, with one shepherd.
ಅಪರಞ್ಚ ಏತದ್ ಗೃಹೀಯ ಮೇಷೇಭ್ಯೋ ಭಿನ್ನಾ ಅಪಿ ಮೇಷಾ ಮಮ ಸನ್ತಿ ತೇ ಸಕಲಾ ಆನಯಿತವ್ಯಾಃ; ತೇ ಮಮ ಶಬ್ದಂ ಶ್ರೋಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ತತ ಏಕೋ ವ್ರಜ ಏಕೋ ರಕ್ಷಕೋ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
17 Because of this Me the Father loves because I myself lay down the life of Mine, that again I may take it.
ಪ್ರಾಣಾನಹಂ ತ್ಯಕ್ತ್ವಾ ಪುನಃ ಪ್ರಾಣಾನ್ ಗ್ರಹೀಷ್ಯಾಮಿ, ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಪಿತಾ ಮಯಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಂ ಕರೋತಿ|
18 No [one] (takes away *NK+o) it from Me, but I myself lay down it of Myself. Authority I have to lay down it and authority I have again to take it; This commandment I received from the Father of Mine.
ಕಶ್ಚಿಜ್ಜನೋ ಮಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಾನ್ ಹನ್ತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂ ತಾನ್ ಸಮರ್ಪಯಾಮಿ ತಾನ್ ಸಮರ್ಪಯಿತುಂ ಪುನರ್ಗ್ರಹೀತುಞ್ಚ ಮಮ ಶಕ್ತಿರಾಸ್ತೇ ಭಾರಮಿಮಂ ಸ್ವಪಿತುಃ ಸಕಾಶಾತ್ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತೋಹಮ್|
19 Division (therefore *K) again there was among the Jews on account of words these.
ಅಸ್ಮಾದುಪದೇಶಾತ್ ಪುನಶ್ಚ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾನಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಭಿನ್ನವಾಕ್ಯತಾ ಜಾತಾ|
20 Were saying now many of them; A demon He has and is insane; why to Him do you listen?
ತತೋ ಬಹವೋ ವ್ಯಾಹರನ್ ಏಷ ಭೂತಗ್ರಸ್ತ ಉನ್ಮತ್ತಶ್ಚ, ಕುತ ಏತಸ್ಯ ಕಥಾಂ ಶೃಣುಥ?
21 Others (now *o) were saying; These declarations not are [those] of one demonised; Surely not a demon is able of [the] blind [their] eyes (to open? *N+kO)
ಕೇಚಿದ್ ಅವದನ್ ಏತಸ್ಯ ಕಥಾ ಭೂತಗ್ರಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ಕಥಾವನ್ನ ಭವನ್ತಿ, ಭೂತಃ ಕಿಮ್ ಅನ್ಧಾಯ ಚಕ್ಷುಷೀ ದಾತುಂ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ?
22 Took place (at the time *N+KO) the Feast of Dedication at Jerusalem; (And *k) winter it was,
ಶೀತಕಾಲೇ ಯಿರೂಶಾಲಮಿ ಮನ್ದಿರೋತ್ಸರ್ಗಪರ್ವ್ವಣ್ಯುಪಸ್ಥಿತೇ
23 and was walking Jesus in the temple in the porch of Solomon.
ಯೀಶುಃ ಸುಲೇಮಾನೋ ನಿಃಸಾರೇಣ ಗಮನಾಗಮನೇ ಕರೋತಿ,
24 Encircled therefore Him the Jews and they were saying to Him; Until when the soul of us hold You in suspense? If You yourself are the Christ, (do tell *NK+O) us plainly.
ಏತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯೇ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾಸ್ತಂ ವೇಷ್ಟಯಿತ್ವಾ ವ್ಯಾಹರನ್ ಕತಿ ಕಾಲಾನ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ವಿಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾಂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಯಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ? ಯದ್ಯಭಿಷಿಕ್ತೋ ಭವತಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ತತ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಂ ವದ|
25 Answered them Jesus; I told you, and not you believe. The works that I myself do in the name of the Father of Mine, these bear witness concerning Me;
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವದದ್ ಅಹಮ್ ಅಚಕಥಂ ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೂಯಂ ನ ಪ್ರತೀಥ, ನಿಜಪಿತು ರ್ನಾಮ್ನಾ ಯಾಂ ಯಾಂ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಂ ಕರೋಮಿ ಸಾ ಕ್ರಿಯೈವ ಮಮ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಸ್ವರೂಪಾ|
26 But you yourselves not believe, (because *N+kO) not you are from among the sheep of Mine (even as I said to you. *K)
ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಹಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಮಕಥಯಂ ಯೂಯಂ ಮಮ ಮೇಷಾ ನ ಭವಥ, ಕಾರಣಾದಸ್ಮಾನ್ ನ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿಥ|
27 The sheep of Mine to the voice of Mine (they listen *N+kO) and I myself and I myself know them, and they follow Me,
ಮಮ ಮೇಷಾ ಮಮ ಶಬ್ದಂ ಶೃಣ್ವನ್ತಿ ತಾನಹಂ ಜಾನಾಮಿ ತೇ ಚ ಮಮ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಿ|
29 The Father of Mine (which *N+kO) has given [them] to Me [than] all (greater *N+kO) is, and no [one] is able to seize [them] out of the hand the Father (of mine. *ko)
ಯೋ ಮಮ ಪಿತಾ ತಾನ್ ಮಹ್ಯಂ ದತ್ತವಾನ್ ಸ ಸರ್ವ್ವಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಮಹಾನ್, ಕೋಪಿ ಮಮ ಪಿತುಃ ಕರಾತ್ ತಾನ್ ಹರ್ತ್ತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ಷ್ಯತಿ|
30 I myself and the Father one are.
ಅಹಂ ಪಿತಾ ಚ ದ್ವಯೋರೇಕತ್ವಮ್|
31 Took up (therefore *KO) again stones the Jews, that they may stone Him.
ತತೋ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾಃ ಪುನರಪಿ ತಂ ಹನ್ತುಂ ಪಾಷಾಣಾನ್ ಉದತೋಲಯನ್|
32 Answered them Jesus; Many works good I have shown you from the Father (of mine; *ko) because of which of these work Me myself do you stone
ಯೀಶುಃ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್ ಪಿತುಃ ಸಕಾಶಾದ್ ಬಹೂನ್ಯುತ್ತಮಕರ್ಮ್ಮಾಣಿ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪ್ರಾಕಾಶಯಂ ತೇಷಾಂ ಕಸ್ಯ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮಣಃ ಕಾರಣಾನ್ ಮಾಂ ಪಾಷಾಣೈರಾಹನ್ತುಮ್ ಉದ್ಯತಾಃ ಸ್ಥ?
33 Answered to Him the Jews (saying: *k) For a good work not we do stone You but for blasphemy, and because You yourself a man being make yourself God.
ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವದನ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಕರ್ಮ್ಮಹೇತೋ ರ್ನ ಕಿನ್ತು ತ್ವಂ ಮಾನುಷಃ ಸ್ವಮೀಶ್ವರಮ್ ಉಕ್ತ್ವೇಶ್ವರಂ ನಿನ್ದಸಿ ಕಾರಣಾದಸ್ಮಾತ್ ತ್ವಾಂ ಪಾಷಾಣೈರ್ಹನ್ಮಃ|
34 Answered to them Jesus; Surely it is written in the law of you (that *no) I myself said: gods you are’?
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುಕ್ತವಾನ್ ಮಯಾ ಕಥಿತಂ ಯೂಯಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರಾ ಏತದ್ವಚನಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೇ ಲಿಖಿತಂ ನಾಸ್ತಿ ಕಿಂ?
35 If them he called gods to whom the word of God came, and not is able to be broken the Scripture,
ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಯೇಷಾಮ್ ಉದ್ದೇಶೇ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಕಥಾ ಕಥಿತಾ ತೇ ಯದೀಶ್ವರಗಣಾ ಉಚ್ಯನ್ತೇ ಧರ್ಮ್ಮಗ್ರನ್ಥಸ್ಯಾಪ್ಯನ್ಯಥಾ ಭವಿತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ಯಂ,
36 [of Him] whom the Father sanctified and He sent into the world, you yourselves do say that You blaspheme, because I said; Son of God I am’?
ತರ್ಹ್ಯಾಹಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರ ಇತಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಸ್ಯ ಕಥನಾತ್ ಯೂಯಂ ಪಿತ್ರಾಭಿಷಿಕ್ತಂ ಜಗತಿ ಪ್ರೇರಿತಞ್ಚ ಪುಮಾಂಸಂ ಕಥಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರನಿನ್ದಕಂ ವಾದಯ?
37 If not I do the works of the Father of Mine, [then] not do believe Me;
ಯದ್ಯಹಂ ಪಿತುಃ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ ನ ಕರೋಮಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಮಾಂ ನ ಪ್ರತೀತ;
38 If however I do, even if even if Me myself not you shall believe, in the works (do believe *N+kO) so that you may know and (may understand *N+KO) that in Me myself [is] the Father and I myself and I myself in (the *no) (Father. *N+KO)
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯದಿ ಕರೋಮಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಮಯಿ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯೇ ನ ಕೃತೇಽಪಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ್ಯೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯಃ ಕ್ರಿಯತಾಂ, ತತೋ ಮಯಿ ಪಿತಾಸ್ತೀತಿ ಪಿತರ್ಯ್ಯಹಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮೀತಿ ಚ ಕ್ಷಾತ್ವಾ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿಷ್ಯಥ|
39 They were seeking therefore Him again to seize; but He went forth out of the hand of them
ತದಾ ತೇ ಪುನರಪಿ ತಂ ಧರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಅಚೇಷ್ಟನ್ತ ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ ತೇಷಾಂ ಕರೇಭ್ಯೋ ನಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಯ್ಯ
40 And He departed again beyond the Jordan to the place where was John at first baptizing, And He stayed there.
ಪುನ ರ್ಯರ್ದ್ದನ್ ಅದ್ಯಾಸ್ತಟೇ ಯತ್ರ ಪುರ್ವ್ವಂ ಯೋಹನ್ ಅಮಜ್ಜಯತ್ ತತ್ರಾಗತ್ಯ ನ್ಯವಸತ್|
41 And many came to Him and were saying that John indeed sign did no[thing], everything however as much as said John about this [man] true was.
ತತೋ ಬಹವೋ ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತತ್ಸಮೀಪಮ್ ಆಗತ್ಯ ವ್ಯಾಹರನ್ ಯೋಹನ್ ಕಿಮಪ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯ್ಯಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ ನಾಕರೋತ್ ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಮನುಷ್ಯೇ ಯಾ ಯಃ ಕಥಾ ಅಕಥಯತ್ ತಾಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾಃ ಸತ್ಯಾಃ;
42 And many believed in Him there.
ತತ್ರ ಚ ಬಹವೋ ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ವ್ಯಶ್ವಸನ್|
