< John 10 >

1 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] not entering in through the door to the fold of the sheep but climbing up another way, he a thief is and a robber;
Jesu ing, “Awitak ka nik kqawn peek khqi, tuu chawmkeng awh lut kaana, ak chang benna kawng ak kai thlang taw, quk-ai ingkaw damiah na awm hy.
2 The [one] however entering in through the door shepherd is of the sheep.
Tuu chawmkeng khuiawh kawng ak lut thlang taw tuukhaikung na awm hy.
3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep to the voice of him listen, and [his] own sheep (he shouts to *N+kO) by name and leads out them.
4 (and *k) When [his] own (all *N+KO) he may bring out, before them he goes, and the sheep after him follow, because they know the voice of him.
A tuukhqi boeih ce a ceh pyi coengawh, ami hai na maa pek khqi hy, a tuukhqi ing ak awi ce hat unawh a hu awh hqut uhy.
5 After a stranger however certainly not (they will follow *N+kO) but will flee from him, because not they know of strangers the voice.
Thlakchang a hu awh ityk awh awm am bat hly uhy; ak awi ce a mami hat dawngawh, cen taak lat kawm uh,” tinak khqi hy.
6 This allegory spoke to them Jesus; they however not knew what (it was *NK+o) that He was saying to them.
Jesu ing vawhkaw nyhtahnaak awi ve kqawn pe hlai hy, ak kqawn peek khqi awi ce am zasim thai uhy.
7 Said therefore again (to them *ko) Jesus; Amen Amen I say to you that I myself am the door of the sheep.
Cedawngawh Jesu ing cekkhqi venawh, “Awitak kanik kqawn peek khqi, kai taw tuu chawmkeng na awm nyng.
8 All as many as came before Me thieves are and robbers; but not did listen to them the sheep.
Kai hlanawh ak lawkhqi boeih taw quk-ai ingkaw damiah na awm uhy, cekkhqi ak awi ce tuukhqi ing am ngai pe uhy.
9 I myself am the door; through Me if anyone shall enter in, he will be saved and he will go in and will go out and pasture will find.
Kai taw chawmkeng na awm nyng; a u awm kai awh ak lut taw thaawngnaak hu kaw. Lut nawh cawn kaw, qam saihim awm hu kaw.
10 The thief not comes only except that he shall steal and shall kill and shall destroy; I myself came that life they may have and excessive may have.
Quk-ai ingtaw quuk aham, him aham ingkaw hqe aham doeng nani a law hy; kai taw a mingmih ing hqingnaak ami taaknaak aham, khawzah na ami taaknaak aham law nyng.
11 I myself am the shepherd good; The shepherd good the life of Him lays down for the sheep.
Kai taw tuukhaileek na awm nyng. Tuukhaileek ing a tuukhqi aham a hqingnaak ce pehy.
12 the hired servant (now *ko) however not being [the] shepherd, whose not (are *N+kO) the sheep [his] own, he sees the wolf coming and he leaves the sheep and flees — and the wolf snatches them and scatters. (sheep *k)
Thlangvat taw tuu ak takung amni. Cedawngawh ngentang a law awh, tuukhqi ce hlah hyt nawh cen taak khqi hy. Ngentang ing tuukhqi ce cui nawh a thek a zak na tahy.
13 (this now *k+o) (hired servant *k) (flees *K) because a hired servant he is and not he is himself concerned to him about the sheep.
Thlangvat taw thlangvat na a awm dawngawh tuukhqi ce centa hy, tuukhqi ce ak leek na am khai hy.
14 I myself am the shepherd good and I know My own, and (they know *N+KO) (me those mine, *N+kO)
15 Even as knows Me the Father I myself also I myself also know the Father, and the life of Mine I lay down for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which not are of fold this, those also those also it behooves Me to bring, and to the voice of Mine they will listen, and (they will become *N+KO) one flock, with one shepherd.
Vawhkaw tuu ak khuiawh amak pa tuu ak chang awm ta hyn nyng. Cekkhqi awm haw law haih kawng. Cekkhqi ingawm kak awi ce ngai kawm usaw, tuu qui oet, tuukhaikung pynoet doeng awm kaw.
17 Because of this Me the Father loves because I myself lay down the life of Mine, that again I may take it.
18 No [one] (takes away *NK+o) it from Me, but I myself lay down it of Myself. Authority I have to lay down it and authority I have again to take it; This commandment I received from the Father of Mine.
Peek thainaak ce ta nyng saw lawh thainaak awm ta bai nyng. Vawhkaw awipeek ve Ka pa venawh kawng ni ka huh hy,” tinak khqi hy.
19 Division (therefore *K) again there was among the Jews on account of words these.
Ve ak awi awh ve Judahkhqi ce pek qu tlaih bai uhy.
20 Were saying now many of them; A demon He has and is insane; why to Him do you listen?
Thlang khawzah ing, “qaai ta nawh qaw hawh saw na huh. Ikaw ham ak awi naming ngai peek?” ti uhy.
21 Others (now *o) were saying; These declarations not are [those] of one demonised; Surely not a demon is able of [the] blind [their] eyes (to open? *N+kO)
Cehlai thlakchangkhqi bai ingtaw, “Ve ak awikhqi ve qaai ak ta ak awi amni. Qaai ing thlang a mik dai hly sak nawh nu?” ti uhy.
22 Took place (at the time *N+KO) the Feast of Dedication at Jerusalem; (And *k) winter it was,

23 and was walking Jesus in the temple in the porch of Solomon.
Jesu ce bawkim awh, Solomon a im hlip awh thoek ang qoe hy.
24 Encircled therefore Him the Jews and they were saying to Him; Until when the soul of us hold You in suspense? If You yourself are the Christ, (do tell *NK+O) us plainly.
Cawh Judahkhqi ing a venna cun unawh, “Kaimih ve iqyt dy nu ngaihang tumna na ni taak khqi kaw? Khrih na na awm awhtaw ak leek na nik kqawn pek khqi,” tina uhy.
25 Answered them Jesus; I told you, and not you believe. The works that I myself do in the name of the Father of Mine, these bear witness concerning Me;
Jesu ing, “Nik kqawn pek khqi nyng, cehlai ap cangna uhyk ti. Ka Pa ming ing kawpoek them ka saikhqi ing ka kawnglam ni sim sak khqi hawh hy.
26 But you yourselves not believe, (because *N+kO) not you are from among the sheep of Mine (even as I said to you. *K)
27 The sheep of Mine to the voice of Mine (they listen *N+kO) and I myself and I myself know them, and they follow Me,
Ka tuukhqi ingtaw kak awi ce ngai uhy; cekkhqi ce sim nyng saw, ka hu awh bat uhy.
28 and I myself and I myself give to them life eternal, and certainly not shall they perish to the age, and never will seize anyone them out of the hand of Me. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
Kumqui hqingnaak ce a mingmih a venawh pe nyng, ityk awhawm am qeeng kawm uh; ka kut awh kawng u ingawm amni qawt kaw. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
29 The Father of Mine (which *N+kO) has given [them] to Me [than] all (greater *N+kO) is, and no [one] is able to seize [them] out of the hand the Father (of mine. *ko)
Cekkhqi ce ka kut awh anik pekung ka Pa taw, ik-oeih boeih boeih anglakawh bau ngai hy; ka Pa a kut khuiawh kawng cekkhqi ce u ingawm am ni qawt kaw.
30 I myself and the Father one are.
31 Took up (therefore *KO) again stones the Jews, that they may stone Him.
Cawh Judahkhqi ing amik khawngnaak ham lung ce cung tlaih uhy.
32 Answered them Jesus; Many works good I have shown you from the Father (of mine; *ko) because of which of these work Me myself do you stone
Cehlai Jesu ing cekkhqi venawh, “Pa a venawh kawng kawpoek kyi ik-oeih khawzah dang sak hawh nyng. Cek khui awhkaw ikawmyih khawboe ing nu nik khawng ham naming cai?” tinak khqi hy.
33 Answered to Him the Jews (saying: *k) For a good work not we do stone You but for blasphemy, and because You yourself a man being make yourself God.
34 Answered to them Jesus; Surely it is written in the law of you (that *no) I myself said: gods you are’?
Jesu ing, “Na mimah a anaa awi ak khuiawh, ‘Nangmih ve khawsakhqi na awm uhyk ti,’ ti nawh am qee qu nawh aw?
35 If them he called gods to whom the word of God came, and not is able to be broken the Scripture,
Cekkhqi ce ‘Khawsakhqi’ tinawh ak khy awhtaw, a u a venawh aw Khawsa awi ce a law, Cakciim awi ce hqe aham ama awm dawngawh,

37 If not I do the works of the Father of Mine, [then] not do believe Me;
Ka Pa a bi ce am ka bi awhtaw koeh nik cangna uh.
38 If however I do, even if even if Me myself not you shall believe, in the works (do believe *N+kO) so that you may know and (may understand *N+KO) that in Me myself [is] the Father and I myself and I myself in (the *no) (Father. *N+KO)
Cehlai Ka Pa a bi ce ka bi awhtaw, nangmih ing amnik cangna u tik seiawm Pa ak khuiawh kai awm nyng saw, kai ak khuiawh Pa awm hy, tice naming zaksim thainaak aham, kawpoek kyi ik-oeihkhqi vetaw cangna lah uh,” tinak khqi hy.
39 They were seeking therefore Him again to seize; but He went forth out of the hand of them
Cawh amah ce tu aham cai uhy, cehlai cekkhqi a kut khui awhkawng loet hy.
40 And He departed again beyond the Jordan to the place where was John at first baptizing, And He stayed there.

42 And many believed in Him there.
