Jeremiah 26
1 In [the] beginning of [the] reign of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it came the word this from with Yahweh saying.
യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യോശിയാവിന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ ഭരണത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭത്തിൽ യഹോവയിൽനിന്ന് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായി:
2 Thus - he said Yahweh stand in [the] court of [the] house of Yahweh and you will speak to all [the] cities of Judah who come to bow down [the] house of Yahweh all the words which I have commanded you to speak to them may not you hold back a word.
“യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ അങ്കണത്തിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നമസ്കരിക്കാൻ വരുന്ന സകല യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളിൽനിന്നുള്ള ജനങ്ങളോടും സംസാരിക്കുക. ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കൽപ്പിക്കുന്ന സകലവചനങ്ങളും പ്രസ്താവിക്കുക; ഒരു വാക്കുപോലും വിട്ടുകളയരുത്.
3 Perhaps they will listen and they may turn back everyone from way his evil and I will repent concerning the calamity which I [am] planning to do to them because of [the] wickedness of deeds their.
ഒരുപക്ഷേ അതുകേട്ട് അവർ ഓരോരുത്തരും തങ്ങളുടെ ദുർമാർഗം വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞേക്കാം. അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിറഞ്ഞ പ്രവൃത്തികൾനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വരുത്താൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന അനർഥത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ അപ്പോൾ അനുതപിക്കും.
4 And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh if not you will listen to me to walk in law my which I have set before you.
നീ അവരോട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയണം: ‘യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്കുകേട്ട് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെമുമ്പിൽ വെച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ന്യായപ്രമാണം അനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും
5 To listen to [the] words of servants my the prophets whom I [have been] sending to you and rising early and sending and not you have listened.
ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാതിരുന്ന എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായ പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ വാക്കുകൾ ഇനിയും കേൾക്കാതിരിക്കുകയുംചെയ്താൽ,
6 And I will make the house this like Shiloh and the city (this *Qk) I will make into a curse for all [the] nations of the earth.
ഞാൻ ഈ ആലയത്തെ ശീലോവിനു തുല്യവും ഈ പട്ടണത്തെ ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെയും ഇടയിൽ ശാപയോഗ്യവും ആക്കിത്തീർക്കും.’”
7 And they heard the priests and the prophets and all the people Jeremiah speaking the words these in [the] house of Yahweh.
യിരെമ്യാവ് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽവെച്ച് ഈ വാക്കുകൾ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും സകലജനവും കേട്ടു.
8 And it was - when had finished Jeremiah to speak all that he had commanded Yahweh to speak to all the people and they seized him the priests and the prophets and all the people saying certainly you will die.
എന്നാൽ സകലജനത്തോടും സംസാരിക്കാൻ യഹോവ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നതെല്ലാം യിരെമ്യാവു സംസാരിച്ചുതീർന്നപ്പോൾ, പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും സകലജനവും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പിടിച്ച്, “താങ്കൾ നിശ്ചയമായും മരിക്കണം!” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
9 Why? have you prophesied in [the] name of Yahweh saying like Shiloh it will be the house this and the city this it will be desolate from not inhabitant and it assembled all the people to Jeremiah in [the] house of Yahweh.
“ഈ ആലയം ശീലോവിനു തുല്യമാകും; ഈ പട്ടണം നിവാസികളില്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിത്തീരും എന്നിങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ താങ്കൾ പ്രവചിച്ചത് എന്തിന്?” അങ്ങനെ ജനമെല്ലാം യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ യിരെമ്യാവിനു ചുറ്റും തടിച്ചുകൂടി.
10 And they heard - [the] officials of Judah the things these and they came up from [the] house of the king [the] house of Yahweh and they sat at [the] entrance of [the] gate of Yahweh new.
ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവർ രാജകൊട്ടാരത്തിൽനിന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്ക് കയറിവന്ന്, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ പുതിയ കവാടത്തിന്റെ പ്രവേശനത്തിങ്കൽ ഇരുന്നു.
11 And they said the priests and the prophets to the officials and to all the people saying a sentence of death [belongs] to the man this for he has prophesied against the city this just as you have heard with own ears your.
അതിനുശേഷം പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും സകലജനത്തോടും ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു: “ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ഈ നഗരത്തിനെതിരേ പ്രവചിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാൽ അയാളെ മരണശിക്ഷയ്ക്കു വിധിക്കണം. നിങ്ങൾ അതു സ്വന്തം ചെവികൊണ്ടുതന്നെ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു!”
12 And he said Jeremiah to all the officials and to all the people saying Yahweh he sent me to prophesy against the house this and against the city this all the words which you have heard.
അപ്പോൾ യിരെമ്യാവ് എല്ലാ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും സകലജനത്തോടും ഇപ്രകാരം സംസാരിച്ചു: “നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ടതായ സകലകാര്യങ്ങളും, ഈ ആലയത്തിനും ഈ നഗരത്തിനും എതിരായി പ്രവചിക്കാൻ യഹോവ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
13 And therefore make good ways your and deeds your and listen to [the] voice of Yahweh God your so he may repent Yahweh concerning the calamity which he has spoken on you.
അതിനാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴികളും പ്രവൃത്തികളും പുനരുദ്ധരിക്കുക; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ അനുസരിക്കുക; അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കെതിരായി യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന അനർഥത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അവിടന്ന് അനുതപിക്കും, അവ നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വരുത്തുകയുമില്ല.
14 And I here I [am] in hand your do to me according to the good and according to the right in eyes your.
എന്റെ കാര്യത്തിലോ, ഞാനിതാ, നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾക്കു യുക്തവും ന്യായവുമായി തോന്നുന്നതുപോലെ എന്നോടു ചെയ്യുക.
15 Only - certainly you will know that except [are] about to put to death you me for blood innocent you [are] about to put on yourselves and to the city this and to inhabitants its for in truth he has sent me Yahweh to you to speak in ears your all the words these.
എന്നെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം നിങ്ങളുടെമേലും ഈ നഗരത്തിന്മേലും അതിലെ നിവാസികളുടെമേലും വരുത്തുകയായിരിക്കും എന്നു തീർച്ചയായും അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക. നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കെ ഈ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും സംസാരിക്കാൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് യഹോവയാണ്.”
16 And they said the officials and all the people to the priests and to the prophets not [belongs] to the man this a sentence of death for in [the] name of Yahweh God our he has spoken to us.
അപ്പോൾ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരും സകലജനങ്ങളും, പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും പ്രവാചകന്മാരോടും പറഞ്ഞു: “ഈ മനുഷ്യനു മരണശിക്ഷ വിധിക്കരുത്! കാരണം നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം നമ്മോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.”
17 And they arose men from [the] elders of the land and they said to all [the] assembly of the people saying.
അനന്തരം ദേശത്തിലെ നേതാക്കന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് മുന്നോട്ടുവന്ന് ജനത്തിന്റെ സർവസംഘത്തോടും ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു:
18 (Micah *QK) the Morasthite he was prophesying in [the] days of Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and he said to all [the] people of Judah saying thus he says - Yahweh of hosts Zion a field it will be plowed and Jerusalem heaps of ruins it will be and [the] mountain of the house high places of a forest.
“യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ ഹിസ്കിയാവിന്റെകാലത്ത് മോരേശേത്തിലെ മീഖായാവ് സകല യെഹൂദാജനത്തോടും പ്രവചിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞത്: ‘സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “‘സീയോൻ ഒരു വയൽപോലെ ഉഴുതുമറിക്കപ്പെടും, ജെറുശലേം ഒരു കൽക്കൂമ്പാരമായിത്തീരും; ദൈവാലയം നിൽക്കുന്ന മല അമിതമായി കുറ്റിക്കാടുവളർന്ന കുന്നുപോലെയാകും.’
19 ¿ Really did they put to death him Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and all Judah ¿ not [was he] fearing Yahweh and did he entreat [the] face of Yahweh and he repented Yahweh concerning the calamity which he had spoken on them and we [are] about to do an evil great on selves our.
യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ ഹിസ്കിയാവും സകല യെഹൂദാജനവും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വധിച്ചുവോ? ഹിസ്കിയാവ് യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെട്ട് യഹോവയോടു കാരുണ്യത്തിനായി യാചിച്ചില്ലേ? യഹോവ അവർക്ക് വരുത്താൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്ന അനർഥത്തിൽനിന്നു പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ലേ? നാം ഒരു വലിയ വിനാശമാണ് നമ്മുടെമേൽ വരുത്താൻപോകുന്നത്!”
20 And also a man he was prophesying in [the] name of Yahweh Uriah [the] son of Shemaiah from Kiriath Jearim and he prophesied on the city this and on the land this like all [the] words of Jeremiah.
അതുപോലെ കിര്യത്ത്-യെയാരീമിൽനിന്നുള്ള ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായി ഊരിയാവ് എന്നൊരുവനും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ പ്രവചിച്ചിരുന്നു; അദ്ദേഹം ഈ നഗരത്തിനും ദേശത്തിനും എതിരായി യിരെമ്യാവു പ്രവചിച്ച അതേ കാര്യങ്ങൾതന്നെ പ്രവചിച്ചു.
21 And he heard the king Jehoiakim and all warriors his and all the officials words his and he sought the king to put to death him and he heard Uriah and he was afraid and he fled and he went Egypt.
യെഹോയാക്കീം രാജാവും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ യുദ്ധവീരന്മാരും എല്ലാ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ഊരിയാവിന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ, അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കൊന്നുകളയാൻ രാജാവ് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു. ഊരിയാവ് അതുകേട്ടു ഭയപ്പെട്ട് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലേക്ക് ഓടിപ്പോയി.
22 And he sent the king Jehoiakim men Egypt Elnathan [the] son of Achbor and men with him to Egypt.
അപ്പോൾ യെഹോയാക്കീം രാജാവ് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലേക്ക് ആളയച്ചു; അക്ബോരിന്റെ മകനായ എൽനാഥാനും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടുകൂടി ചില ആളുകളും ഈജിപ്റ്റിലേക്കു ചെന്നു.
23 And they brought out Uriah from Egypt and they took him to the king Jehoiakim and he struck him with the sword and he threw corpse his to [the] graves of [the] sons of the people.
അവർ ഊരിയാവിനെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് യെഹോയാക്കീം രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഹാജരാക്കി. രാജാവ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊന്ന് ശവശരീരം സാമാന്യജനങ്ങളുടെ ശ്മശാനത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.
24 Nevertheless [the] hand of Ahikam [the] son of Shaphan it was with Jeremiah to not to give him in [the] hand of the people to put to death him.
എന്നാൽ, യിരെമ്യാവിനെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കൈയിൽ ഏൽപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത് കൊല്ലാതിരിക്കാൻ, ശാഫാന്റെ മകനായ അഹീക്കാം അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു സഹായിയായിനിന്നു.
