Isaiah 28
1 Woe to! [the] crown of pride of [the] drunkards of Ephraim and a flower withering [the] beauty of splendor its which [is] on [the] head of a valley of fatness [those] struck down of wine.
Malheur à la couronne orgueilleuse des ivrognes d'Éphraïm, à la fleur fanée, son plus bel ornement, qui domine la vallée fertile des hommes vaincus par le vin!
2 There! a mighty [one] and a strong [one] [belongs] to [the] Lord like a storm of hail a tempest of destruction like a storm of water mighty overflowing he will thrust [it] down to the ground with a hand.
Voici, le Seigneur tient en réserve un homme fort et puissant, semblable à un orage de grêle, à un ouragan destructeur, à une trombe de grosses eaux qui débordent. Il la jette par terre de la main.
3 With feet they will be trampled [the] crown of pride of [the] drunkards of Ephraim.
Elle sera foulée aux pieds, la couronne superbe des ivrognes d'Éphraïm.
4 And it will be a flower withering [the] beauty of splendor its which [is] on [the] head of a valley of fatness like an early fig before summer which he will see the [one who] sees it while still it [is] in hand his he will swallow it.
Et il en sera de la fleur fanée, son plus bel ornement, qui domine la vallée fertile, comme des fruits hâtifs avant la récolte; on les voit, et sitôt qu'on les a dans la main, on les dévore.
5 In the day that he will become Yahweh of hosts a crown of beauty and a diadem of splendor for [the] remnant of people his.
En ce jour-là, l'Éternel des armées sera une couronne éclatante et un diadème de gloire pour le reste de son peuple;
6 And a spirit of justice for the [one who] sits on judgment and strength [those who] turn back battle [the] gate towards.
Un esprit de jugement pour celui qui est assis sur le siège de la justice, et une force pour ceux qui repoussent l'ennemi aux portes.
7 And also these with wine they reeled and with strong drink they staggered priest and prophet they reeled with strong drink they were confused from wine they staggered from strong drink they reeled in the vision they tottered decision.
Mais ils chancellent, eux aussi, par le vin; ils sont troublés par la boisson forte; sacrificateurs et prophètes chancellent par la boisson forte, ils sont vaincus par le vin, et troublés par la boisson forte; ils chancellent en prophétisant, ils vacillent en rendant la justice.
8 For all [the] tables they are full vomit filth not room.
Toutes leurs tables sont pleines de vomissement et d'ordures; il n'y a plus de place!
9 Whom? will he teach knowledge and whom? will he make understand [the] message [those] weaned from milk [ones] removed from breasts.
“A qui veut-il enseigner la sagesse, et à qui faire entendre l'instruction? Est-ce à des enfants sevrés, arrachés à la mamelle?
10 For command to [the] command command to [the] command line to [the] line line to [the] line a little there a little there.
Car il donne loi sur loi, loi sur loi, règle sur règle, règle sur règle, un peu ici, un peu là. “
11 For by stammerings of lip and by a tongue another he will speak to the people this.
Aussi c'est par des lèvres qui balbutient et par une langue étrangère qu'il parlera à ce peuple.
12 Whom - he said to them this [is] the resting place give rest to the weary and this [is] the place of rest and not they were willing to listen.
Il leur avait dit: C'est ici le repos, que vous donniez du repos à celui qui est accablé, c'est ici le soulagement. Mais ils n'ont pas voulu écouter.
13 And it will be to them [the] word of Yahweh command to [the] command command to [the] command line to [the] line line to [the] line a little there a little there so that they may go and they will stumble backwards and they will be broken and they will be ensnared and they will be captured.
Aussi la parole de l'Éternel sera pour eux loi sur loi, loi sur loi, règle sur règle, règle sur règle, un peu ici, un peu là; afin qu'en marchant ils tombent à la renverse, qu'ils soient brisés, qu'ils tombent dans le piège, et qu'ils soient pris.
14 Therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh O people of mockery O rulers of the people this who [are] in Jerusalem.
C'est pourquoi, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, hommes moqueurs, qui dominez sur ce peuple de Jérusalem.
15 For you have said we have made a covenant with death and with Sheol we have made an agreement (a scourge *QK) overflowing if (it will pass by *QK) not it will come to us for we have made falsehood refuge our and in deception we have hidden ourselves. (Sheol h7585)
Car vous dites: Nous avons fait alliance avec la mort, et nous avons fait accord avec le Sépulcre; quand le fléau débordé passera, il ne nous atteindra point; car nous avons pris la tromperie pour refuge, et le mensonge pour asile. (Sheol h7585)
16 Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I he has laid in Zion a stone a stone of testing a corner of preciousness of a foundation founded the [one who] trusts not he will make haste.
C'est pourquoi, ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, j'ai posé en Sion une pierre, une pierre angulaire, éprouvée et précieuse, solidement posée; celui qui s'y appuiera ne s'enfuira point.
17 And I will make justice a measuring-line and righteousness a leveling tool and it will sweep away hail [the] refuge of falsehood and [the] shelter waters they will overflow.
Je prendrai le droit pour règle et la justice pour niveau; et la grêle emportera le refuge de tromperie, et les eaux inonderont l'asile de mensonge.
18 And it will be annulled covenant your with death and agreement your with Sheol not it will stand a scourge overflowing if it will pass by and you will become for it a trampling place. (Sheol h7585)
Votre alliance avec la mort sera abolie, et votre accord avec le Sépulcre ne tiendra point. Quand le fléau débordé passera, vous serez foulés par lui. (Sheol h7585)
19 As often as passes by it it will take you for in the morning in the morning it will pass by in the day and in the night and it will be only terror to understand [the] message.
Sitôt qu'il passera, il vous saisira; car il passera matin après matin, de jour et de nuit, et la frayeur seule sera votre instruction.
20 For it is [too] short the bed for stretching oneself and the blanket it is narrow when wraps oneself up.
Car le lit sera trop court pour s'y étendre, et la couverture trop étroite, quand on voudra s'envelopper.
21 For like [the] mountain of Perazim he will arise Yahweh like a valley in Gibeon he will rage to do deed his [is] strange deed his and to work work his [is] alien work his.
Car l'Éternel se lèvera, comme à la montagne de Pératsim; il se courroucera, comme dans la vallée de Gabaon, pour faire son œuvre, son œuvre inconnue, et pour exécuter son travail, son travail inaccoutumé.
22 And therefore may not you show yourself a mocker lest they should become strong fetters your for complete destruction and [what] has been decided I have heard from with [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts on all the land.
Et maintenant ne faites pas les moqueurs, de peur que vos liens ne se resserrent; car j'ai entendu que la destruction est résolue par le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées, contre toute la terre.
23 Give ear and hear voice my pay attention and hear utterance my.
Prêtez l'oreille, écoutez ma voix; soyez attentifs, écoutez ma parole!
24 ¿ All the day does he plow the plowman to sow does he loosen? and he may harrow? land his.
Le laboureur qui veut semer, laboure-t-il toujours? Est-il toujours à ouvrir et à herser son terrain?
25 ¿ Not if he has leveled surface its and does he scatter black cumin and cumin does he sprinkle? and does he put? wheat a row and barley an appointed [place] and spelt territory its.
Quand il en a aplani la surface, n'y répand-il pas l'anet, n'y sème-t-il pas le cumin? Ne met-il pas le froment par rangées, l'orge à la place marquée, et l'épeautre sur les bords?
26 And he instructs him to judgment God his he teaches him.
Son Dieu lui enseigne la règle à suivre, et l'instruit.
27 That not with threshing sledge it is threshed black cumin and a wheel of a cart over cumin it is turned for with staff it is beaten out black cumin and cumin with rod.
Car l'anet ne se foule pas avec le rouleau; on ne fait pas tourner sur le cumin la roue du chariot; mais on bat l'anet avec une verge, et le cumin avec un fléau.
28 Bread it is crushed for not to perpetuity certainly anyone threshes it and he sets in motion [the] wheel of cart his and horses his not he crushes it.
On bat le blé, mais on ne le foule pas sans fin, en y poussant la roue du chariot, et le pied des chevaux ne l'écrase pas.
29 Also this from with Yahweh of hosts it has gone out he has made wonderful counsel he has made great sound wisdom.
Cela procède aussi de l'Éternel des armées, qui est admirable en conseil et magnifique en moyens.
