Isaiah 18
1 Alas! O land of whirring of wings which [is] from [the] other side of [the] rivers of Cush.
Wehe dem Lande, von Flügeln beschattet, das jenseits der Flüsse von Kusch ist;
2 Which sends on the sea envoys and in vessels of papyrus on [the] surface of [the] waters go - O messengers swift to a nation tall and smooth skinned to a people feared from it and beyond a nation of strength of strength and trampling which they divide rivers land its.
Das Botschafter auf das Meer sendet und in Fahrzeugen aus Binsen auf den Angesichten der Wasser: Gehet hin, ihr schnellen Boten zu der langgestreckten und ausgeplünderten Völkerschaft, dem Volke furchtbar, seitdem es ist und fürderhin, der Völkerschaft ausgemessen und zerstampft, dessen Land Flüsse berauben.
3 O all [the] inhabitants of [the] world and [those who] dwell earth when lifts up a standard mountains you will see [it] and just as sounds a trumpet you will hear [it].
Ihr alle, die ihr wohnt in der Welt und ihr Einwohner der Erde, so man auf den Bergen das Panier erhebt, so sehet, und wenn man in die Posaune stößt, höret!
4 For thus he said Yahweh to me (I will remain quiet *Qk) and I will pay attention in place my like heat dazzling with light like a cloud of dew in [the] heat of harvest.
Denn also spricht zu mir Jehovah: Ich will rasten und blicken in Meiner Stätte, wie die heitere Hitze über dem Licht, wie eine Wolke von Tau in der Ernte Hitze.
5 For before harvest when is finished bud[s] and unripe grape[s] ripening it will become blossom and he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives and the tendrils he will remove he will cut away.
Denn vor der Ernte, wenn die Blüte zu Ende ist, und die Blume zum reifenden Herling geworden ist, wird man die Ranken abschneiden und die Reben wegtun und abkippen.
6 They will be abandoned alike to bird[s] of prey of [the] mountains and to [the] animal[s] of the earth and it will pass [the] summer on it the bird[s] of prey and every animal of the earth on it it will pass [the] winter.
Sie werden allesamt den Raubvögeln der Berge und dem Vieh des Landes überlassen; aber dem Raubvogel ekelt davor, und alles Vieh des Landes schmäht sie.
7 At the time that it will be brought a gift to Yahweh of hosts a people tall and smooth skinned and from a people feared from it and beyond a nation of - strength of strength and trampling which they divide rivers land its to [the] place of [the] name of Yahweh of hosts [the] mountain of Zion.
Zu jener Zeit wird dem Jehovah der Heerscharen eine Opfergabe herbeigebracht, ein langgestrecktes und ausgeplündertes Volk, von einem Volke furchtbar, seitdem es ist und fürderhin, einer ausgemessenen und zerstampften Völkerschaft, dessen Land die Flüsse berauben, an den Ort des Namens Jehovahs, nach dem Berge Zion.
