< Hebrews 13 >

1 Brotherly love should abide.
ⲁ̅ϮⲘⲈⲦⲘⲀⲒⲤⲞⲚ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲤⲤⲘⲞⲚⲦ.
2 Of hospitality not do forget; through this for unawares some have entertained angels.
ⲃ̅ϮⲘⲈⲦⲘⲀⲒϢⲈⲘⲘⲞ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢⲠⲈⲤⲰⲂϢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲄⲀⲢ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲀⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲈⲂϢⲒ ⲀϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢⲈⲠ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ.
3 do remember prisoners as bound with [them], [and] those being mistreated as also yourselves being in [the] body.
ⲅ̅ⲀⲢⲒⲪⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲞⲚϨ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲞⲚϨ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲘⲞⲔϨ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲞⲠ ϨⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲘⲀ.
4 Honorable [let] marriage [be] in all and the marriage bed undefiled; [the] sexually immoral (for *N+kO) and adulterers will judge God.
ⲇ̅ⲠⲒⲄⲀⲘⲞⲤ ⲦⲀⲒⲎⲞⲨⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϮϢⲀⲒⲢⲒ ⲦⲞⲨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲚⲒⲠⲞⲢⲚⲞⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲚⲰⲒⲔ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲀϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ.
5 [Let be] without covetousness [your] manner of life; being satisfied with the present; He Himself for has said: Certainly not you shall I leave, nor certainly not you (shall I forsake; *NK+o)
ⲉ̅ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲢⲞⲠⲞⲤ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲘⲀⲒϨⲀⲦ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲠ ⲈⲨⲈⲢⲰϢⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀϤϪⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲚⲀⲤⲰϪⲠⲔ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲚⲚⲀⲬⲀⲔ ⲚⲤⲰⲒ.
6 So are confident we to say: [The] Lord [is] my helper, and not I will be afraid; what will do to me man?
ⲋ̅ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲈⲚⲦⲀϪⲢⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲈⲚϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲀⲂⲞⲎⲐⲞⲤ ⲚⲚⲀⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲦⲈ ⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲀⲀⲒϤ ⲚⲎⲒ.
7 do remember those leading you, who spoke to you the word of the God, of whom considering the outcome of [their] way of life, do imitate the faith.
ⲍ̅ⲀⲢⲒⲪⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲨⲄⲞⲨⲘⲈⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲠⲒϪⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲞⲨϪⲒⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ.
8 Jesus Christ yesterday and today [is] the same and to the ages. (aiōn g165)
ⲏ̅ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲚⲤⲀϤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲪⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ. (aiōn g165)
9 by teachings various and strange not (do be taken away; *N+kO) [it is] good for by grace to be strengthened for the heart not by foods in which not they profited those (being devoted. *N+kO)
ⲑ̅ϨⲀⲚⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲞⲨⲐⲞ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚϢⲈⲘⲘⲞ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲐⲢⲞⲨⲞⲨⲈⲦⲈⲂ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲀϪⲢⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲘⲞⲦ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚϦⲢⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲞⲨϪⲈⲘϨⲎ ⲞⲨ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ.
10 We have an altar from which to eat not they have authority those in the tabernacle serving.
ⲓ̅ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲀ ⲚⲈⲢϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲢϢⲒϢⲒ ⲈⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ⲚϮⲤⲔⲎⲚⲎ.
11 Whose for is brought of animals the blood [as sacrifices] for sin into the Holy [Places] through the high priest, of those the bodies are burned outside the camp.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲚⲒⲌⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈϢⲀⲨⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲚⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲀⲢⲬⲒⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ϢⲀⲨⲢⲈⲔϨ ⲠⲤⲰⲘⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲀⲒ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲠⲀⲢⲈⲘⲂⲞⲖⲎ.
12 Therefore also Jesus, so that he may sanctify through the own blood the people, outside the gate suffered.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ϨⲰϤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞ ⲘⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲈϤⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲘⲘⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲀϤϢⲈⲠⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲠⲨⲖⲎ.
13 Therefore we may go forth to Him outside the camp the reproach of Him bearing;
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚϢⲈ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϢⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϮⲠⲀⲢⲈⲘⲂⲞⲖⲎ ⲈⲚϤⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲈϤϢⲰϢ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ.
14 Not for we have here an abiding city, but the coming [one] we are seeking for.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲘⲀ ⲚⲞⲨⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲈⲤⲤⲘⲞⲚⲦ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲰⲤ.
15 Through Him then we may offer [the] sacrifice of praise (through *N+KO) (all [times] *N+kO) to God, That is [the] fruit of [the] lips confessing the name of Him.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲒⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲚϨⲀⲚϢⲞⲨϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲪⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ.
16 And the good and of sharing not do be forgetful; with such for sacrifices is well pleased God.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ϮⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲈⲂⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲘⲈⲦϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢⲠⲞⲨⲰⲂϢ ϨⲀⲚϢⲞⲨϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ϢⲀⲨⲢⲀⲚⲀϤ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
17 do obey to those leading you and do be submissive; they themselves for watch over the souls of you as an account to be giving that with joy this they may do and not groaning; unprofitable indeed for you [is] this.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲘⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲐⲰⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲨⲄⲞⲨⲘⲈⲚⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲐⲰⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲞⲒ ⲚϢⲢⲰⲒⲤ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲮⲨⲬⲎ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲨⲚⲀϮⲖⲞⲄⲞⲤ ⲈϪⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲤⲈⲈⲢ ⲪⲀⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲢⲀϢⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϤⲒⲀϨⲞⲘ ⲀⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲢⲚⲞϤⲢⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ.
18 do pray for us; (we are assured *N+kO) for that a good conscience we have in all things well desiring to conduct ourselves.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲚ ⲠⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲆⲈ ⲐⲎⲦ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲨⲚⲎⲆⲈⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲔⲀⲖⲰⲤ.
19 More abundantly now I exhort [you] this to do, so that quicker I may be restored to you.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲆⲈ ϮⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲈⲈⲢ ⲪⲀⲒ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲤⲈⲦⲪⲞⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲬⲰⲖⲈⲘ.
20 [May] the now God of peace, having brought out from [the] dead the Shepherd of the sheep great by [the] blood of [the] covenant eternal, the Lord of us Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
ⲕ̅ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϮϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲒϢϮ ⲘⲘⲀⲚⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲤⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲆⲒⲀⲐⲎⲔⲎ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ. (aiōnios g166)
21 would he equip you in everything (work *KO) good in order to do the will of Him working in (us *N+KO) that which [is] well pleasing before Him through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] the glory to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn g165)
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲈϤⲈⲤⲈⲂⲦⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲀⲄⲀⲐⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲠϪⲒⲚⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲀϤ ⲘⲠⲈⲐⲢⲀⲚⲀϤ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲘⲐⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲰϤ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲀ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲀⲘⲎⲚ. (aiōn g165)
22 I exhort now you, brothers, do bear with the word of exhortation; only for in few words I have written to you.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ϮϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲀⲢⲒⲀⲚⲈⲬ ⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲘⲠⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒϮϨⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲄⲀⲢ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲔⲞⲨϪⲒ ⲀⲒⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ.
23 You know the brother (of us *no) Timothy released with whom if quicker he shall come, I will see you.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲤⲞⲚ ⲦⲒⲘⲞⲐⲈⲞⲤ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲬⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲀϤϢⲀⲚⲒ ⲚⲬⲰⲖⲈⲘ ⲈⲒⲈⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ.
24 do greet all those leading you and all the saints. Greet you those from Italy.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲨⲄⲞⲨⲘⲈⲚⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲀⲄⲒⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲤⲈϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲀ ϮϨⲨⲦⲀⲖⲒⲀ.
25 Grace [be] with all of you. (Amen. *KO) (to Hebrews it was written from Italy through Timothy. *K)
