Hebrews 10
1 A shadow for having the law of the coming good things, not themselves the form of the things, each year with the same sacrifices which they offer to the continuous never (is able *NK+o) those drawing near to perfect;
En effet, la Loi n'ayant que l'ombre des biens à venir, et pas même l'image des choses, ne peut jamais par ces sacrifices renouvelés chaque année et perpétuellement, amener à la perfection ceux qui s'approchent de l’autel;
2 Otherwise not would they have ceased being offered because of none having any longer conscience of sins those serving once (cleansed! *N+KO)
autrement, n'aurait-on pas cessé de les offrir, par la raison que les adorateurs, une fois purifiés, n'auraient plus senti leur conscience chargée de péché?
3 But in these [there is] a reminder of sins every year;
Mais par ces sacrifices, on rappelle tous les ans le souvenir des péchés;
4 Impossible [it is] indeed [for the] blood of bulls and of goats to take away sins.
car il est impossible que le sang des taureaux et des boucs ôte les péchés.
5 Therefore coming into the world He says: Sacrifice and offering not You have desired, a body however You have prepared me;
Cette impossibilité fait dire à Christ entrant dans le monde: «Tu n'as voulu ni sacrifice ni offrande, mais tu m'as fait un corps.
6 Burnt offerings and [offerings] for sin not You have delighted in;
Tu n'as désiré ni holocaustes ni oblations pour le péché;
7 Then I said; Behold I have come — in [the] scroll of [the] book it has been written of Me — to do, O God, the will of You.
alors j’ai dit: Voici, je viens (car il est question de moi dans le livre) je viens, ô Dieu, pour faire ta volonté.»
8 Above saying that (sacrifices *N+KO) and (offerings *N+KO) and burnt offerings and [offerings] for sin not You have desired nor You delighted in, which according to (the *k) Law are offered,
— Après avoir commencé par dire: «Tu n'as point voulu, tu n’as point désiré de sacrifices, ni d 'offrandes, ni d'holocaustes, ni d'oblations pour le péché, » (toutes choses qu'on offre conformément à la Loi),
9 then He has said; Behold I have come to do (of the God *K) the will of You. He takes away the first that the second He may establish;
il ajoute: «Voici, je viens pour faire ta volonté.» Il supprime le premier point, pour établir le second;
10 By that will sanctified we are through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
et c'est par l'exécution de cette volonté que nous avons été sanctifiés, nous qui sommes sanctifiés une fois pour toutes par l’oblation du corps de Jésus-Christ.
11 And every indeed priest has stood every day ministering and the same repeatedly offering sacrifices, which never are able to take away sins;
De plus, tandis que tout sacrificateur se tient chaque jour debout pour officier, et offre plusieurs fois les mêmes victimes, qui ne peuvent jamais ôter les péchés;
12 (This [One] *N+kO) however one for sins having offered sacrifice in perpetuity sat down at [the] right hand of God,
lui, au contraire, après avoir offert un seul sacrifice pour les péchés, «s'est assis» pour toujours «à la droite de Dieu, »
13 the henceforth awaiting until may be placed the enemies of Him [as] a footstool for the feet of Him.
attendant désormais que «ses ennemis aient été mis comme un marchepied sous ses pieds; »
14 By one for offering He has perfected for all time those being sanctified.
car, par une oblation unique, il a amené pour toujours à la perfection ceux qui ont été sanctifiés.
15 Bears witness now to us also the Spirit Holy; after for (to have said: *N+KO)
D'ailleurs, l'Esprit-Saint nous l'atteste, puisque, après avoir dit,
16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after the days those, says [the] Lord, putting [the] laws of Mine into [the] hearts of them and into (the mind *N+kO) of them I will inscribe them;
«voici l'alliance que je ferai avec eux, quand les temps seront venus, » le Seigneur ajoute: «Je mettrai mes lois dans leur coeur, je les graverai dans leur esprit,
17 and The sins of them and the lawless acts of them certainly not (will I remember *N+kO) any more.
et je ne me souviendrai plus de leurs péchés ni de leurs iniquités.»
18 Where now forgiveness of these [is], no longer no longer an offering for sin.
Or, là où il y a pardon des péchés et des iniquités, il n'est plus question d'oblation pour le péché.
19 Having therefore, brothers, confidence for the entering to the Holy [Places] by the blood of Jesus,
Puis donc, mes frères, que le sang de Christ nous ouvre un libre accès au Lieu très-saint,
20 which He dedicated for us a way new and living through the veil, That is through the flesh of Him,
par la voie récente et vivante que Christ a inaugurée pour nous à travers le voile, c’est-à-dire, à travers sa chair,
21 and [having] a priest great over the house of God,
et puisque nous avons un souverain sacrificateur à la tête de la maison de Dieu,
22 we may draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith sprinkled clean [our] hearts from a conscience evil and (having ourselves washed *N+kO) [our] body with water pure.
approchons-nous de Dieu avec un coeur sincère, dans la plénitude de la foi, ayant le coeur purifié des souillures d'une mauvaise conscience, et le corps lavé d'une eau pure.
23 We may hold fast to the confession of [our] hope firmly, faithful for [is] the [One] having promised,
Gardons inébranlablement la profession de notre espérance, car celui qui a fait les promesses est fidèle.
24 And we may think one another toward stirring up to love and to good works
Ayons l'oeil les uns sur les autres pour nous exciter à la charité et aux bonnes oeuvres.
25 not forsaking the assembling together of ourselves even as [is the] custom with some, but encouraging [one another], and so much more as much as you see drawing near the Day.
N'abandonnons point nos assemblées, comme quelques-uns ont coutume de le faire, mais exhortons-nous les uns les autres, et cela d'autant plus que vous voyez s'approcher le grand jour.
26 [If] willingly for sin we after [we are] to receive the knowledge of the truth no longer no longer for sins remains a sacrifice,
Si nous péchons volontairement, après avoir reçu la connaissance de la vérité, il ne reste plus de sacrifice pour les péchés;
27 terrifying however a certain expectation of judgment and of fire fury to devour being about the adversaries.
il n'y a plus à attendre qu'un redoutable jugement et l'ardeur d'un feu qui doit dévorer les rebelles.
28 Having set aside anyone [the] law of Moses without mercies on the basis of two or three witnesses he dies;
Si quelqu'un a violé la loi de Moïse, il meurt sans miséricorde sur le témoignage de deux ou trois personnes:
29 How much think you worse will he deserve punishment the [one] the Son of God having trampled upon and the blood of the covenant ordinary having esteemed by which he was sanctified and the Spirit of grace having insulted?
quel pire châtiment croyez-vous que méritera celui qui aura foulé aux pieds le Fils de Dieu, qui aura tenu pour impur le sang de l'alliance, par lequel il avait été sanctifié, et qui aura outragé l'Esprit de grâce.
30 We know for the [One] having said; Mine [is] vengeance, I myself will repay (says Lord; *K) and again: Will judge [the] Lord the people of Him.
Car nous connaissons celui qui a dit: «A moi la vengeance! C'est moi qui rétribuerai!» et encore: «Le Seigneur jugera son peuple.»
31 [It is] a fearful thing to fall into [the] hands of God [the] living.
C'est une chose terrible que de tomber entre les mains du Dieu vivant.
32 do remember however the former days in which having been enlightened a great conflict you endured of sufferings,
Rappelez en votre mémoire ces premiers temps, où, après avoir été éclairés, vous avez soutenu un grand et douloureux combat,
33 this indeed by revilings both and by tribulations being made a spectacle, this however partners of those thus passing through [them] having become;
tantôt étant exposés devant tout le monde aux outrages et aux persécutions, tantôt prenant part aux souffrances de ceux qui se trouvaient dans la même situation que vous.
34 Both for with the (prisoners *N+KO) you sympathized and the plundering of the possessions of you with joy you accepted knowing to have (in *k) (yourselves *N+kO) (a better *NK+o) possession (in heavens *K) and abiding.
Vous avez, en effet, montré de la compassion pour les prisonniers, et vous vous êtes résignés avec joie à la perte de vos biens, sachant que vous avez, pour votre part, une fortune meilleure et qui durera toujours.
35 Not may throw away therefore the boldness of you, which has a great reward.
N'abandonnez donc point votre assurance: une grande récompense y est attachée;
36 Of endurance for You have need, so that the will of God having done you may receive the promise.
et vous avez besoin de persévérance, afin qu'après avoir fait la volonté de Dieu, vous obteniez ce qui vous est promis.
37 Yet for A little very while, the [One] who is coming will come and not will delay.
Encore un peu, bien peu de temps, et «celui qui doit venir, viendra: il se fera point attendre.
38 The one however righteous (of Mine *NO) by faith will live; and if he shall shrink back, not takes pleasure the soul of Mine in him.
Et mon juste vivra par la foi; mais s'il se retire lâchement, mon âme ne mettra point son affection en lui.»
39 We ourselves however not are of [those] drawing back to destruction but of faith to [the] preserving [of the] soul.
Pour nous, nous ne sommes pas de ceux qui se retirent, et se perdent; mais de ceux qui gardent la foi, et sauvent leur âme.
