Hebrews 1

1 In many portions and in many ways long ago God having spoken to the fathers in the prophets

UNkulunkulu owakhuluma endulo kubobaba ngabaprofethi ngezigaba ngezigaba langendlela ezinengi,

2 in ([this] last *N+kO) of the days these has spoken to us in [His] Son whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the ages (aiōn g165)

kulezinsuku zokucina ukhulume kithi ngeNdodana, ayimise ibe yindlalifa yezinto zonke, owadala ngayo futhi imihlaba, (aiōn g165)

3 who being [the] radiance of [His] glory and [the] exact expression of the substance of Him, upholding then all things by the declaration of the power of Him (through himself *KO) [the] purification of sins having made (of us *K) sat down at [the] right hand of the Majesty on high

yona eyikubenyezela kwenkazimulo, lomfuziselo uqobo wobukhona bakhe, njalo ithwele izinto zonke ngelizwi lamandla ayo, lapho isiyenzile ngokwayo ukuhlanjululwa kwezono zethu, yahlala phansi ngakwesokunene soBukhulu obuphezulu,

4 By so much superior having become to the angels, as much as more excellent beyond theirs He has inherited a name.

isiyenziwe yaphakama kakhulu kulezingilosi, njengalokhu izuze ilifa lebizo elikhulu kulalezo.

5 To which for did He say ever of the angels: Son of mine are You yourself, I myself today have begotten You? And again: I myself will be to Him for a Father, and He himself will be to Me for a Son?

Ngoba kukuyiphi yezingilosi ake watsho kuyo ukuthi: Wena uyiNdodana yami, mina lamuhla ngikuzele? Lokuthi futhi: Mina ngizakuba nguYise kiyo, yona-ke ibe yiNdodana kimi?

6 When then again He may bring the Firstborn into the world He says: And should worship Him all [the] angels of God.

Futhi mhla ephinda eletha olizibulo emhlabeni, uthi: Lengilosi zonke zikaNkulunkulu kazimkhonze.

7 And as to indeed the angels He says: The [One] making the angels of Him winds and the ministers of Him of fire a flame;

Lakuzingilosi uthi: Owenza ingilosi zakhe imimoya, lenceku zakhe ilangabi lomlilo;

8 Unto however the Son: The throne of You, O God [is] to the age of the age; (and *no) the scepter of righteousness [is] scepter of the kingdom (of You. *NK+O) (aiōn g165)

kodwa eNdodaneni uthi: Isihlalo sakho sobukhosi, Nkulunkulu, singesaphakade laphakade; intonga yombuso wakho yintonga yokulunga. (aiōn g165)

9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. because of this has anointed You God, the God of You, with [the] oil of exultation above the companions of You.

Uthandile ukulunga, wazonda ububi; ngenxa yalokhu, uNkulunkulu, uNkulunkulu wakho ukugcobile ngamagcobo entokozo kulabanakwenu.

10 And You yourself in [the] beginning, Lord, of the earth laid the foundation, and works of the hands of You are the heavens;

Lokuthi: Wena Nkosi, ekuqaleni wasekela umhlaba, lamazulu ayimisebenzi yezandla zakho;

11 They themselves will perish, You yourself however remain; and all like a garment will grow old,

kuzabhubha lokho, kodwa wena umi njalonjalo; futhi kuzaguga konke njengesigqoko,

12 and like a robe You will roll up them (like a garment *NO) also they will be changed; You yourself however the same are, and the years of You not will never end.

lanjengesembatho uzakugoqa, kuzaphendulwa-ke; kodwa wena unguwe unjalo, leminyaka yakho kayiyikuphela.

13 To which now of the angels has He said ever: do sit at [the] right hand of Me until when I may place the enemies of You [as] a footstool for the feet of You?

Kukuyiphi-ke yezingilosi ake atsho kuyo ukuthi: Hlala ngakwesokunene sami, ngize ngibeke izitha zakho zibe yisenabelo senyawo zakho?

14 Surely all they are ministering spirits for service being sent forth for the sake of those being about to inherit salvation?

Kazisibo yini zonke omoya abasebenzayo abathunyelwe ukukhonza ngenxa yalabo abazakudla ilifa losindiso?
