Haggai 2

1 In the seventh [month] on [day] twenty and one of the month it came [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Haggai the prophet saying.

En el séptimo mes, en el vigésimo primer día del mes, la palabra del Señor vino por medio del profeta Hageo, diciendo:

2 Say please to Zerubbabel [the] son of Shealtiel [the] governor of Judah and to Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great and to [the] remnant of the people saying.

Di ahora a Zorobabel, hijo de Salatiel, gobernante de Judá, y a Josué, hijo de Josadac, el sumo sacerdote, y a el resto del pueblo,

3 Who? among you [is] the [one who] remains who he saw the house this in splendor its former and what? [are] you seeing it now ¿ not [is] as it as nothing in eyes your.

¿Quién está todavía entre ustedes que vio esta casa en su primera gloria? y cómo la ves ahora ¿No está ante tus ojos como nada?

4 And now be strong O Zerubbabel - [the] utterance of Yahweh and be strong O Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great and be strong O all [the] people of the land [the] utterance of Yahweh and work that I [am] with you [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

Pero ahora sé fuerte, Zorobabel, dice el Señor; y sé fuerte, oh Josué, hijo de Josadac, el sumo sacerdote; y sean fuertes, todos ustedes, gente de la tierra, dice el Señor, y trabajen, porque yo estoy con ustedes, dice el Señor de los ejércitos:

5 The word which I cut with you when came out you from Egypt and spirit my [is] standing in midst of you may not you be afraid.

El acuerdo que hice con ustedes cuando saliste de Egipto, y mi espíritu, todavía está con ustedes; no tengan miedo.

6 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts yet one [time] [is] a little it and I [am] about to shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry ground.

Porque esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor de los ejércitos: En poco tiempo haré temblar los cielos, la tierra, el mar y la tierra seca;

7 And I will shake all the nations and they will come [the] precious thing of all the nations and I will fill the house this splendor he says Yahweh of hosts.

Y haré temblar a todas las naciones, y vendrá lo deseado de todas las naciones; y llenaré de mi gloria esta casa, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.

8 [belongs] to Me the silver and [belongs] to me the gold [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

La plata es mía y el oro es mío, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.

9 Great it will be [the] splendor of the house this latter more than the former he says Yahweh of hosts and in the place this I will give peace [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

La segunda gloria de esta casa será mayor que la primera, dice el Señor de los ejércitos; y en este lugar daré paz, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.

10 On [day] twenty and four of the ninth [month] in year two of Darius it came [the] word of Yahweh to Haggai the prophet saying.

En el vigésimo cuarto día del noveno mes, en el segundo año de Darío, la palabra del Señor vino por medio del profeta Hageo, diciendo:

11 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts ask please the priests instruction saying.

Estas son las palabras del Señor de los ejércitos: Poner ahora una cuestión acerca de la ley a los sacerdotes, diciendo:

12 There! - he will carry someone flesh of holiness in [the] skirt of garment his and he will touch with skirt his bread and cooked food and wine and oil and every food ¿ will it become holy and they answered the priests and they said no.

Si alguien tiene carne sagrada doblada en la falda de su túnica, y el borde de su capa toca el pan ¿se hará santo el pan, la sopa, el vino, el aceite o cualquier otro alimento si lo toca? Y los sacerdotes respondiendo respondieron: No.

13 And he said Haggai if he will touch a [person] unclean of a corpse all these [things] ¿ will it become unclean and they answered the priests and they said it will become unclean.

Entonces Hageo dijo: ¿Alguno de estos se volverá inmundo por el toque de alguien que está inmundo al tocar un cadáver? Y respondiendo los sacerdotes, dijeron: Será inmundo.

14 And he answered Haggai and he said [is] thus the people this and [is] thus the nation this before me [the] utterance of Yahweh and [is] thus all [the] work of hands their and [that] which they will bring near there [is] unclean it.

Entonces Hageo dijo: Así es este pueblo y también esta nación delante de mí, dice el Señor; y así es cada obra de sus manos; y la ofrenda que dan allí es inmunda.

15 And therefore set please heart your from the day this and up-wards from before put a stone to a stone in [the] temple of Yahweh.

Y ahora, piensa, mirando hacia atrás desde este día hasta el tiempo antes de que una piedra fuera puesta sobre otra en el Templo del Señor:

16 From when were they someone came to a heap of twenty [measures] and it was ten someone came to the wine vat to draw fifty [measures] a winepress and it was twenty.

Cómo, cuando alguien llegó a una tienda de veinte medidas, solo había diez: cuando alguien fue a la bodega de vino a llenar cincuenta vasos, sólo había veinte.

17 I struck you with blight and with mildew and with hail all [the] work of hands your and not you to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.

Y envié viento ardiente, granizo y plaga sobre todas las obras de tus manos; pero aun así no se volvieron hacia mí, dice el Señor.

18 Set please heart your from the day this and up-wards from day twenty and four of the ninth [month] from the day when it was founded [the] temple of Yahweh set heart your.

Y ahora, piensa; mirando desde este día, desde el vigésimo cuarto día del noveno mes, desde el momento en que se puso la base de la casa del Señor en su lugar, piensa en ello.

19 ¿ Still [is] the seed in the granary and to the vine and the fig tree and the pomegranate and [the] tree of the olive not it has borne [fruit] from the day this I will bless.

¿Todavía está la semilla en el almacén? ¿La vid y la higuera, la granada y el olivo todavía no han dado sus frutos? a partir de hoy te enviaré mi bendición.

20 And it came [the] word of Yahweh - a second [time] to Haggai on [day] twenty and four of the month saying.

Y la palabra del Señor vino por segunda vez a Hageo, en el vigésimo cuarto día del mes, diciendo:

21 Say to Zerubbabel [the] governor of Judah saying I [am] about to shake the heavens and the earth.

Di a Zorobabel, gobernante de Judá, que haré temblar los cielos y la tierra.

22 And I will overthrow [the] throne of kingdoms and I will destroy [the] strength of [the] kingdoms of the nations and I will overthrow chariotry and riders its and they will go down horses and riders their each by [the] sword of brother his.

Derrocando el poder de los reinos; y enviaré destrucción sobre la fuerza de los reinos de las naciones; por mí, los carruajes de guerra serán volcados con los que están en ellos; y los caballos y los jinetes bajarán, todos por la espada de su hermano.

23 On the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts I will take you O Zerubbabel [the] son of Shealtiel servant my [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will make you like signet-ring for you I have chosen [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

En ese día, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, te llevaré, oh Zorobabel, mi siervo, el hijo de Salatiel, dice el Señor, y te haré como un anillo de sellos; porque te he escogido para que seas mío, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.
