Genesis 13

1 And he went up Abram from Egypt he and wife his and all that [belonged] to him and Lot with him the Negev towards.

Tak więc Abram wyszedł z Egiptu, on i jego żona, i wszystko, co miał, i Lot z nim, [i udali się] ku południu.

2 And Abram [was] wealthy very in livestock in silver and in gold.

A Abram był bardzo bogaty w bydło, srebro i złoto.

3 And he went to journeyings his from [the] Negev and to Beth-el to the place where it had been there (tent his *Qk) at the beginning between Beth-el and between Ai.

I szedł, robiąc postoje, od południa aż do Betel, do tego miejsca, gdzie poprzednio był jego namiot, między Betel a Aj;

4 To [the] place of the altar which he had made there at the former [time] and he called there Abram on [the] name of Yahweh.

Do miejsca, gdzie poprzednio zbudował ołtarz. Tam wezwał Abram imienia PANA.

5 And also to Lot who was traveling with Abram it be[longed] sheep and cattle and tents.

Lot, który szedł z Abramem, również miał owce, woły i namioty.

6 And not it supported them the land to dwell together for it was possession[s] their much and not they were able to dwell together.

A ziemia ta nie [mogła] ich pomieścić, żeby mieszkali razem, bo ich majątek był tak wielki, że nie mogli mieszkać razem.

7 And it was quarreling between [the] herdsmen of [the] livestock of Abram and between [the] herdsmen of [the] livestock of Lot and the Canaanite[s] and the Perizzite[s] then [was] dwelling in the land.

I wynikła sprzeczka między pasterzami stad Abrama a pasterzami stad Lota. Kananejczycy i Peryzzyci mieszkali wówczas na tej ziemi.

8 And he said Abram to Lot may not please there be strife between me and between you and between herdsmen my and between herdsmen your for [are] men brothers we.

Abram powiedział więc do Lota: Proszę, niech nie będzie sporu między mną a tobą, także między moimi pasterzami a twoimi pasterzami, bo jesteśmy braćmi.

9 ¿ Not [is] all the land before you separate please from with me if the left so let me go right and if the right and I will go left.

Czyż cała ziemia nie stoi przed tobą? Odłącz się, proszę, ode mnie. Jeśli [pójdziesz] w lewo, ja pójdę w prawo, a jeśli [ty pójdziesz] w prawo, ja pójdę w lewo.

10 And he lifted up Lot eyes his and he saw all [the] valley of the Jordan that all of it [was] well-watered before - destroyed Yahweh Sodom and Gomorrah like [the] garden of Yahweh like [the] land of Egypt going you Zoar.

Wtedy Lot podniósł swe oczy i zobaczył, że cała równina nad Jordanem [była] dobrze nawodniona – zanim PAN zniszczył Sodomę i Gomorę – jak ogród PANA, jak ziemia Egiptu, aż do Zoar.

11 And he chose for himself Lot all [the] valley of the Jordan and he set out Lot from [the] east and they separated each from with brother his.

Lot wybrał więc sobie całą tę równinę nad Jordanem i udał się na wschód. I rozłączyli się bracia jeden od drugiego.

12 Abram he dwelt in [the] land of Canaan and Lot he dwelt in [the] cities of the valley and he moved tent to Sodom.

Abram mieszkał w ziemi Kanaan, a Lot mieszkał w miastach tej równiny i rozbił swój namiot aż do Sodomy.

13 And [the] people of Sodom [were] wicked and sinful to Yahweh exceedingly.

Ale mężczyźni Sodomy [byli] źli i wielkimi grzesznikami przed PANEM.

14 And Yahweh he said to Abram after separated Lot from with him lift up please eyes your and look from the place where you [are] there north-ward and south-ward and east-ward and west-ward.

I PAN powiedział do Abrama, gdy Lot już odłączył się od niego: Podnieś teraz swe oczy i spójrz z miejsca, na którym [teraz] jesteś, na północ i na południe, na wschód i na zachód.

15 For all the land which you [are] seeing to you I will give it and to offspring your until perpetuity.

Bo całą ziemię, którą widzisz, dam tobie i twemu potomstwu na wieki.

16 And I will make offspring your like [the] dust of the earth which - if he will be able anyone to count [the] dust of the earth also offspring your it will numbered.

I rozmnożę twoje potomstwo jak proch ziemi, [tak że] jeśli ktoś będzie mógł zliczyć proch ziemi, to również twoje potomstwo będzie policzone.

17 Arise walk about in the land to length its and to breadth its for to you I will give it.

Wstań i przejdź tę ziemię wzdłuż i wszerz, bo dam ci ją.

18 And he moved tent Abram and he went and he dwelt at [the] great trees of Mamre which [are] at Hebron and he built there an altar to Yahweh.

Abram zwinął więc namiot, przyszedł i mieszkał na równinach Mamre, które [są] w Hebronie, i tam zbudował ołtarz dla PANA.
