Colossians 3
1 If then you have been raised with Christ, the [things] above do seek, where Christ is at [the] right hand of God sitting;
Si donc vous êtes ressuscités avec Christ, cherchez les choses d'en haut, où Christ est assis à la droite de Dieu.
2 The [things] above do set [your] minds on not the [things] on the earth.
Affectionnez-vous aux choses d'en haut, et non à celles de la terre;
3 You have died for and the life of you has been hidden with Christ in God;
Car vous êtes morts, et votre vie est cachée avec Christ en Dieu;
4 When Christ may be revealed, the life (of you, *N+KO) then also you yourselves with Him will appear in glory.
Mais quand Christ, qui est votre vie, paraîtra, alors vous serez aussi manifestés avec lui dans la gloire.
5 do put to death therefore the members (of you *K) which [are] upon the earth: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, desire evil and covetousness which is idolatry,
Faites donc mourir ce qui dans vos membres tient à la terre, la fornication, l'impureté, les passions, les mauvais désirs, et l'avarice, qui est une idolâtrie;
6 because of which things is coming the wrath of God on the sons of disobedience;
Car c'est pour ces choses que la colère de Dieu vient sur les enfants de rébellion;
7 in which also you yourselves walked once when you were living in (them. *N+kO)
Dans lesquelles vous aussi vous avez marché autrefois, lorsque vous viviez en elles.
8 Now however do put off also you yourselves all [these] things: anger, rage, malice, slander, foul language out of the mouth of you.
Mais maintenant vous aussi renoncez à toutes: à la colère, à l'animosité, à la méchanceté, à la médisance, aux paroles déshonnêtes; qu'il n'en sorte pas de votre bouche.
9 Not do lie to one another having put off the old man with the practices of him
Ne mentez point les uns aux autres; ayant dépouillé le vieil homme avec ses œuvres,
10 and having put on the new, which is being renewed in knowledge according to [the] image of the [one who] having created him;
Et ayant revêtu le nouvel homme, qui est renouvelé, dans la connaissance, à l'image de celui qui l'a créé.
11 where not there is Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, slave, free, but all and in all Christ [is].
Ici il n'y a ni Grec ni Juif, ni circoncis ni incirconcis, ni Barbare ni Scythe, ni esclave ni libre; mais Christ est tout en tous.
12 do put on therefore, as [the] elect of God holy and beloved, hearts (of compassion, *N+kO) kindness, humility, gentleness, [and] patience;
Revêtez-vous donc, comme des élus de Dieu, saints et bien-aimés, d'entrailles de miséricorde, de bonté, d'humilité, de douceur, de patience;
13 bearing with each other and forgiving each other If anyone against another shall have a complaint; even as also the (Lord *N+KO) has forgiven you, so also you;
Vous supportant les uns les autres, et vous pardonnant les uns aux autres, si l'un a quelque sujet de plainte contre l'autre. Comme Christ vous a pardonné, vous aussi, faites de même.
14 Beyond all now these [put on] the love, (which *N+kO) is [the] bond of perfect unity.
Mais par-dessus toutes choses revêtez-vous de la charité, qui est le lien de la perfection.
15 And the peace (from Christ *N+KO) should rule in the hearts of you, to which also you were called in one body; And thankful do be.
Et que la paix de Christ, à laquelle vous avez été appelés en un seul corps, règne dans vos cœurs; et soyez reconnaissants.
16 The word of Christ should dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing yourselves in psalms, (and *k) in hymns, (and *k) in songs spiritual with grace singing in (the hearts *N+kO) of you (to God; *N+KO)
Que la parole de Christ habite abondamment en vous, en toute sagesse. Instruisez-vous et exhortez-vous les uns les autres, par des psaumes, et des hymnes et des cantiques spirituels, chantant dans vos cœurs au Seigneur, avec reconnaissance.
17 And everything (which what *NK+o) (maybe *N+kO) you shall do in word or in deed, all in [the] name of [the] Lord Jesus giving thanks to God (and *k) [the] Father through Him.
Et quoi que vous fassiez, en paroles, ou en œuvres, faites tout au nom du Seigneur Jésus, rendant grâces par lui à Dieu le Père.
18 you who [are] wives, do be submitted (to [your] own *K) husbands as was fitting in [the] Lord.
Femmes, soyez soumises à vos propres maris, comme il convient selon le Seigneur.
19 you who [are] Husbands, do love the wives and not do be harsh toward them.
Maris, aimez vos femmes, et ne vous aigrissez point contre elles.
20 you who [are] Children, do obey the parents in all things; this for pleasing is (in *N+kO) Lord.
Enfants, obéissez à vos parents en toutes choses; car cela est agréable au Seigneur.
21 you who [are] Fathers, not do provoke the children of you, that not they may become discouraged.
Pères, n'irritez point vos enfants, de peur qu'ils ne perdent courage.
22 you who [are] Slaves, do obey in all things the according to flesh masters, not with (eye-service *N+kO) as men-pleasers but in sincerity of heart fearing the (Lord. *N+KO)
Serviteurs, obéissez en toutes choses à vos maîtres selon la chair, ne servant pas seulement sous leurs yeux, comme pour plaire aux hommes; mais avec simplicité de cœur dans la crainte de Dieu.
23 (and *k) (everything *K) that (any [of] *K) maybe you shall do, from [the] soul do work as to the Lord and not to men;
Et quoi que vous fassiez, faites-le de bon cœur, comme pour le Seigneur, et non pour les hommes;
24 knowing that from [the] Lord (you will receive *NK+o) the reward of the inheritance; The (for *k) Lord Christ you serve.
Sachant que vous recevrez du Seigneur la récompense de l'héritage, car vous servez Christ le Seigneur.
25 The [one] (for *N+kO) doing wrong he will be repaid [for] what he has done wrong and not there is partiality.
Mais celui qui agit injustement, recevra selon son injustice; et il n'y a point d'acception de personnes.
