Colossians 1

1 Paul an apostle of Christ Jesus through [the] will of God and Timothy the brother

١ مِنْ بُولُسَ وَهُوَ رَسُولٌ لِلْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ بِمَشِيئَةِ اللهِ، وَمِنَ الأَخِ تِيمُوثَاوُسَ،

2 To those in Colossae saints and faithful brothers in Christ: Grace to you and peace from God [the] Father of us (and Lord Jesus Christ. *K)

٢ إِلَى الإِخْوَةِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ وَالأُمَنَاءِ فِي الْمَسِيحِ، الْمُقِيمِينَ فِي مَدِينَةِ كُولُوسِّي. لِتَكُنْ لَكُمُ النِّعْمَةُ وَالسَّلامُ مِنَ اللهِ أَبِينَا والرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ.

3 We give thanks to the God (and *ko) Father of the Lord of us Jesus Christ continually (for *NK+o) you praying,

٣ إِنَّنَا دَائِماً نَرْفَعُ الشُّكْرَ لِلهِ، أَبِي رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ فِيمَا نُصَلِّي لأَجْلِكُمْ.

4 having heard of the faith of you in Christ Jesus and the love (that *N+kO) (you have *no) toward all the saints,

٤ إِذْ بَلَغَنَا خَبَرُ إِيمَانِكُمْ بِالْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ وَالْمَحَبَّةِ الَّتِي لَكُمْ نَحْوَ جَمِيعِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ،

5 because of the hope which is being laid up for you in the heavens which you heard of before in the word of truth the gospel

٥ بِسَبَبِ الرَّجَاءِ الْمَحْفُوظِ لَكُمْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ، الرَّجَاءِ الَّذِي سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ سَابِقاً فِي كَلِمَةِ الْحَقِّ الَّتِي فِي الإِنْجِيلِ

6 which is being present unto you, even as also in all the world (and *k) it is bearing fruit (and increasing *NO) even as also among you from the day you heard and you knew the grace of God in truth,

٦ وَالَّتِي وَصَلَتْ إِلَيْكُمْ كَمَا تَنْتَشِرُ الآنَ فِي الْعَالَمِ أَجْمَعَ، مُنْتِجَةً الثَّمَرَ وَنَامِيَةً، مِثْلَمَا يَحْدُثُ بَيْنَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْذُ أَنْ سَمِعْتُمْ بِنِعْمَةِ اللهِ وَاخْتَبَرْتُمُوهَا بِالْحَقِّ،

7 even as (and *k) you learned from Epaphras the beloved fellow bond-servant of us, who is faithful on behalf of (of you *NK+O) a servant of Christ,

٧ عَلَى حَسَبِ مَا تَعَلَّمْتُمْ مِنْ أَبَفْرَاسَ شَرِيكِنَا الْعَبْدِ الْحَبِيبِ، وَالْخَادِمِ الأَمِينِ لِلْمَسِيحِ عِنْدَكُمْ

8 the [one] also having made known to us your love in [the] Spirit.

٨ وَهُوَ نَفْسُهُ أَخْبَرَنَا بِمَا لَكُمْ مِنَ الْمَحَبَّةِ فِي الرُّوحِ.

9 Because of this also we ourselves from the day we heard, not cease for you praying and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of the will of Him in all wisdom and in understanding spiritual

٩ لِذَلِكَ نَحْنُ أَيْضاً، مِنَ الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي فِيهِ سَمِعْنَا بِأَخْبَارِكُمْ، مَازِلْنَا نُصَلِّي وَنَتَضَرَّعُ لأَجْلِكُمْ، لأَنْ تَمْتَلِئُوا مِنْ تَمَامِ مَعْرِفَةِ مَشِيئَةِ اللهِ فِي كُلِّ حِكْمَةٍ وَإِدْرَاكٍ رُوحِيٍّ،

10 to walk (you *k) worthily of the Lord in all pleasing in every work good bringing forth fruit and growing (into *k) (knowledge *N+kO) of God,

١٠ لِكَيْ تَسْلُكُوا سُلُوكاً لاَئِقاً بِالرَّبِّ وَمُرْضِياً فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، مُنْتِجِينَ الثَّمَرَ فِي كُلِّ عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ وَنَامِينَ فِي مَعْرِفَةِ اللهِ إِلَى التَّمَامِ،

11 with all power being strengthened according to the might glorious of Him unto all endurance and patience with joy.

١١ مُتَشَدِّدِينَ بِكُلِّ قُوَّةٍ مُوَافِقَةٍ لِقُدْرَةِ مَجْدِهِ، لِتَتَمَكَّنُوا تَمَاماً مِنَ الاحْتِمَالِ وَطُولِ الْبَالِ،

12 giving thanks to the Father the [One] having qualified (you *N+KO) for the share of the inheritance of the saints in the light,

١٢ رَافِعِينَ الشُّكْرَ بِفَرَحٍ لِلآبِ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ أَهْلاً لِلاشْتِرَاكِ فِي مِيرَاثِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ فِي النُّورِ،

13 who has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred [us] into the kingdom of the Son the beloved of Him,

١٣ هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْقَذَنَا مِنْ سُلْطَةِ الظَّلاَمِ وَنَقَلَنَا إِلَى مَلَكُوتِ ابْنِ مَحَبَّتِهِ

14 in whom we have redemption (through the blood of him *K) the forgiveness of sins;

١٤ الَّذِي فِيهِ لَنَا الْفِدَاءُ، أَيْ غُفْرَانُ الْخَطَايَا.

15 [He] is [the] image of the God invisible, [the] firstborn over all creation;

١٥ هُوَ صُورَةُ اللهِ الَّذِي لاَ يُرَى، وَالْبِكْرُ عَلَى كُلِّ مَا قَدْ خُلِقَ،

16 because in Him were created all things (which [are] *k) in the heavens and upon the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things through Him and unto Him have been created,

١٦ إِذْ بِهِ خُلِقَتْ جَمِيعُ الأَشْيَاءِ: مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا عَلَى الأَرْضِ، مَا يُرَى وَمَا لاَ يُرَى، أَعُرُوشاً كَانَتْ أَمْ سِيَادَاتٍ أَمْ رِئَاسَاتٍ أَمْ سُلُطَاتٍ. كُلُّ مَا فِي الْكَوْنِ قَدْ خُلِقَ بِهِ وَلأَجْلِهِ.

17 And He himself is before all things, and all things in Him have held together,

١٧ هُوَ كَائِنٌ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَبِهِ يَدُومُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ.

18 And He himself is the head of the body the church; who is (the *o) beginning, firstborn out from the dead, so that may be in all things He himself holding preeminence;

١٨ وَهُوَ رَأْسُ الْجَسَدِ، أَيِ الْكَنِيسَةِ؛ هُوَ الْبَدَاءَةُ وَبِكْرُ الْقَائِمِينَ مِنْ بَيْنِ الأَمْوَاتِ، لِيَكُونَ لَهُ الْمَقَامُ الأَوَّلُ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ.

19 because in Him was pleased all the fullness to dwell

١٩ فَفِيهِ سُرَّ اللهُ أَنْ يَحِلَّ بِكُلِّ مِلْئِهِ،

20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of the cross of Him, through Him whether the [things] on the earth or the [things] (in *NK+o) the heavens;

٢٠ وَأَنْ يُصَالِحَ بِهِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مَعَ نَفْسِهِ، إِذْ أَحَلَّ السَّلاَمَ بِدَمِهِ عَلَى الصَّلِيبِ، فَبِهِ يُصَالَحُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ، سَوَاءٌ مَا كَانَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ أَوْ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ.

21 And you once being alienated and hostile in mind in the deeds evil, now however (He has reconciled [You] *NK+O)

٢١ وَأَنْتُمْ، يَامَنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي الْمَاضِي أَجَانِبَ وَأَعْدَاءً فِي الْفِكْرِ، بِأَعْمَالِكُمُ الشِّرِّيرَةِ،

22 in the body of the flesh of Him through death to present you holy and unblemished and blameless before Him.

٢٢ قَدْ صَالَحَكُمُ الآنَ فِي جَسَدِ بَشَرِيَّةِ (ابْنِهِ) بِالْمَوْتِ. وَذَلِكَ لِكَيْ يُحْضِرَكُمْ فَتَمْثُلُوا أَمَامَهُ وَأَنْتُمْ قِدِّيسُونَ بِلاَ ذَنْبٍ وَلاَ لَوْمٍ.

23 if indeed you continue in the faith established and firm and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which having been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which have become I myself Paul a minister.

٢٣ عَلَى أَنْ تَثْبُتُوا فِعْلاً فِي الإِيمَانِ، مُؤَسَّسِينَ وَرَاسِخِينَ وَغَيْرَ مُتَحَوِّلِينَ عَنْ رَجَاءِ الإِنْجِيلِ الَّذِي سَمِعْتُمُوهُ، الَّذِي بُشِّرَ بِهِ لِلْخَلِيقَةِ كُلِّهَا تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ، وَلَهُ صِرْتُ أَنَا بُولُسَ خَادِماً.

24 Now I rejoice in the sufferings (of mine *k) for you and I am filling up that which is lacking of the tribulations of Christ in the flesh of mine for the body of Him which is the church;

٢٤ وَالآنَ أَنَا أَفْرَحُ فِي الآلاَمِ الَّتِي أُقَاسِيهَا لأَجْلِكُمْ، وَأُتَمِّمُ فِي جَسَدِي مَا نَقَصَ مِنْ ضِيقَاتِ الْمَسِيحِ لأَجْلِ جَسَدِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ الْكَنِيسَةُ،

25 of which became I myself a minister according to the administration of God which having been given me toward you to complete the word of God,

٢٥ وَلَهَا قَدْ صِرْتُ أَنَا خَادِماً بِمُوجِبِ تَدْبِيرِ اللهِ الْمَوْهُوبِ لِي مِنْ أَجْلِكُمْ، وَهُوَ أَنْ أُتَمِّمَ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ، بِإِعْلاَنِ

26 the mystery which hidden from the ages and from the generations, (now *N+kO) however having been manifested to the saints of Him; (aiōn g165)

٢٦ السِّرِّ الَّذِي كَانَ مَكْتُوماً طَوَالَ الْعُصُورِ وَالأَجْيَالِ، وَلكِنْ كُشِفَ الآنَ لِقِدِّيسِيهِ، (aiōn g165)

27 to whom has willed God to make known (what the *N+kO) riches of the glory of the mystery this among the Gentiles, (which *N+kO) is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

٢٧ الَّذِينَ أَرَادَ اللهُ أَنْ يُعْلِنَ لَهُمْ كَمْ هُوَ غَنِيٌّ مَجْدُ هَذَا السِّرِّ بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ: أَنَّ الْمَسِيحَ فِيكُمْ، وَهُوَ رَجَاءُ الْمَجْدِ؛

28 whom we ourselves preach admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, so that we may present every man perfect in Christ (Jesus *K)

٢٨ هَذَا السِّرُّ نُعْلِنُهُ نَحْنُ، وَاعِظِينَ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ، وَمُعَلِّمِينَ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ، فِي كُلِّ حِكْمَةٍ، لِكَيْ نُحْضِرَ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ كَامِلاً فِي الْمَسِيحِ.

29 Unto this also I toil striving according to the energy of Him who is working in me myself in power.

٢٩ وَلأَجْلِ هَذَا أَتْعَبُ أَنَا أَيْضاً وَأُجَاهِدُ، بِفَضْلِ قُدْرَتِهِ الْعَامِلَةِ فِيَّ بِقُوَّةٍ.
