Acts 7
1 Asked then the high priest; whether (therefore *k) these things so are?
ತತಃ ಪರಂ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕಃ ಪೃಷ್ಟವಾನ್, ಏಷಾ ಕಥಾಂ ಕಿಂ ಸತ್ಯಾ?
2 And he was speaking: Men brothers and fathers, do listen. The God of glory appeared to the father of us Abraham being in Mesopotamia before than dwelling of his in Haran,
ತತಃ ಸ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವದತ್, ಹೇ ಪಿತರೋ ಹೇ ಭ್ರಾತರಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇ ಲಾಕಾ ಮನಾಂಸಿ ನಿಧದ್ಧ್ವಂ| ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷ ಇಬ್ರಾಹೀಮ್ ಹಾರಣ್ನಗರೇ ವಾಸಕರಣಾತ್ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಂ ಯದಾ ಅರಾಮ್-ನಹರಯಿಮದೇಶೇ ಆಸೀತ್ ತದಾ ತೇಜೋಮಯ ಈಶ್ವರೋ ದರ್ಶನಂ ದತ್ವಾ
3 and He said to him; do go out from the country of you and from the kindred of you and come into (the *no) land which then to you I may show.’
ತಮವದತ್ ತ್ವಂ ಸ್ವದೇಶಜ್ಞಾತಿಮಿತ್ರಾಣಿ ಪರಿತ್ಯಜ್ಯ ಯಂ ದೇಶಮಹಂ ದರ್ಶಯಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ ತಂ ದೇಶಂ ವ್ರಜ|
4 Then having gone out from [the] land of Chaldeans he dwelt in Haran; And from there And from there after dying the father of him He removed him into land this in which you yourselves now dwell,
ಅತಃ ಸ ಕಸ್ದೀಯದೇಶಂ ವಿಹಾಯ ಹಾರಣ್ನಗರೇ ನ್ಯವಸತ್, ತದನನ್ತರಂ ತಸ್ಯ ಪಿತರಿ ಮೃತೇ ಯತ್ರ ದೇಶೇ ಯೂಯಂ ನಿವಸಥ ಸ ಏನಂ ದೇಶಮಾಗಚ್ಛತ್|
5 And not He did give to him an inheritance in it not even [give] [the] length of a foot but He promised to give to him for a possession it and to the descendants of him after him, not there being to him a child.
ಕಿನ್ತ್ವೀಶ್ವರಸ್ತಸ್ಮೈ ಕಮಪ್ಯಧಿಕಾರಮ್ ಅರ್ಥಾದ್ ಏಕಪದಪರಿಮಿತಾಂ ಭೂಮಿಮಪಿ ನಾದದಾತ್; ತದಾ ತಸ್ಯ ಕೋಪಿ ಸನ್ತಾನೋ ನಾಸೀತ್ ತಥಾಪಿ ಸನ್ತಾನೈಃ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಮ್ ಏತಸ್ಯ ದೇಶಸ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರೀ ತ್ವಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಸೀತಿ ತಮ್ಪ್ರತ್ಯಙ್ಗೀಕೃತವಾನ್|
6 Spoke however (thus *NK+O) God that will be the seed of him a sojourner in a land strange and they will enslave it and they will mistreat [it] years four hundred.
ಈಶ್ವರ ಇತ್ಥಮ್ ಅಪರಮಪಿ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್ ತವ ಸನ್ತಾನಾಃ ಪರದೇಶೇ ನಿವತ್ಸ್ಯನ್ತಿ ತತಸ್ತದ್ದೇಶೀಯಲೋಕಾಶ್ಚತುಃಶತವತ್ಸರಾನ್ ಯಾವತ್ ತಾನ್ ದಾಸತ್ವೇ ಸ್ಥಾಪಯಿತ್ವಾ ತಾನ್ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕುವ್ಯವಹಾರಂ ಕರಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ|
7 And the nation to which (then *NK+o) (they will be in bondage, *N+kO) will judge I myself, God said and after these things they will come forth and they will serve Me in place this.’
ಅಪರಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರ ಏನಾಂ ಕಥಾಮಪಿ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್, ಯೇ ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಾನ್ ದಾಸತ್ವೇ ಸ್ಥಾಪಯಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೋಕಾನ್ ಅಹಂ ದಣ್ಡಯಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ, ತತಃ ಪರಂ ತೇ ಬಹಿರ್ಗತಾಃ ಸನ್ತೋ ಮಾಮ್ ಅತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನೇ ಸೇವಿಷ್ಯನ್ತೇ|
8 And He gave to him [the] covenant of circumcision; and thus he begat Isaac and circumcised him on the day eighth, and Isaac Jacob, and Jacob the twelve patriarchs.
ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ ಸ ತಸ್ಮೈ ತ್ವಕ್ಛೇದಸ್ಯ ನಿಯಮಂ ದತ್ತವಾನ್, ಅತ ಇಸ್ಹಾಕನಾಮ್ನಿ ಇಬ್ರಾಹೀಮ ಏಕಪುತ್ರೇ ಜಾತೇ, ಅಷ್ಟಮದಿನೇ ತಸ್ಯ ತ್ವಕ್ಛೇದಮ್ ಅಕರೋತ್| ತಸ್ಯ ಇಸ್ಹಾಕಃ ಪುತ್ರೋ ಯಾಕೂಬ್, ತತಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ಯಾಕೂಬೋಽಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ದ್ವಾದಶ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾ ಅಜಾಯನ್ತ|
9 And the patriarchs having envied Joseph sold [him] into Egypt; But was God with him
ತೇ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾ ಈರ್ಷ್ಯಯಾ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣಾ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಂ ಪ್ರೇಷಯಿತುಂ ಯೂಷಫಂ ವ್ಯಕ್ರೀಣನ್|
10 and rescued him out of all the tribulations of him and gave to him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh king of Egypt and he appointed him ruler over Egypt and (over *n) all the house of him.
ಕಿನ್ತ್ವೀಶ್ವರಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ಸಹಾಯೋ ಭೂತ್ವಾ ಸರ್ವ್ವಸ್ಯಾ ದುರ್ಗತೇ ರಕ್ಷಿತ್ವಾ ತಸ್ಮೈ ಬುದ್ಧಿಂ ದತ್ತ್ವಾ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಸ್ಯ ರಾಜ್ಞಃ ಫಿರೌಣಃ ಪ್ರಿಯಪಾತ್ರಂ ಕೃತವಾನ್ ತತೋ ರಾಜಾ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಸ್ಯ ಸ್ವೀಯಸರ್ವ್ವಪರಿವಾರಸ್ಯ ಚ ಶಾಸನಪದಂ ತಸ್ಮೈ ದತ್ತವಾನ್|
11 Came then a famine upon all the (land *k) (of Egypt *N+kO) and Canaan and affliction great and not were finding sustenance the fathers of us.
ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯೇ ಮಿಸರ-ಕಿನಾನದೇಶಯೋ ರ್ದುರ್ಭಿಕ್ಷಹೇತೋರತಿಕ್ಲಿಷ್ಟತ್ವಾತ್ ನಃ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯದ್ರವ್ಯಂ ನಾಲಭನ್ತ|
12 Having heard now Jacob [there] is (grain in Egypt *N+kO) he sent forth the fathers of us first,
ಕಿನ್ತು ಮಿಸರದೇಶೇ ಶಸ್ಯಾನಿ ಸನ್ತಿ, ಯಾಕೂಬ್ ಇಮಾಂ ವಾರ್ತ್ತಾಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಪ್ರಥಮಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾನ್ ಮಿಸರಂ ಪ್ರೇಷಿತವಾನ್|
13 and on the second time (was recognised by *NK+o) Joseph the to brothers of him, and known became to Pharaoh the family (of Joseph. *NK+O)
ತತೋ ದ್ವಿತೀಯವಾರಗಮನೇ ಯೂಷಫ್ ಸ್ವಭ್ರಾತೃಭಿಃ ಪರಿಚಿತೋಽಭವತ್; ಯೂಷಫೋ ಭ್ರಾತರಃ ಫಿರೌಣ್ ರಾಜೇನ ಪರಿಚಿತಾ ಅಭವನ್|
14 Having sent then Joseph he called for Jacob the father of him and all the kindred (of him *k) in all souls seventy five.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಯೂಷಫ್ ಭ್ರಾತೃಗಣಂ ಪ್ರೇಷ್ಯ ನಿಜಪಿತರಂ ಯಾಕೂಬಂ ನಿಜಾನ್ ಪಞ್ಚಾಧಿಕಸಪ್ತತಿಸಂಖ್ಯಕಾನ್ ಜ್ಞಾತಿಜನಾಂಶ್ಚ ಸಮಾಹೂತವಾನ್|
15 (And *no) went down (now *ko) Jacob into Egypt and died he himself and the fathers of us
ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಯಾಕೂಬ್ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಂ ಗತ್ವಾ ಸ್ವಯಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾಶ್ಚ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸ್ಥಾನೇಽಮ್ರಿಯನ್ತ|
16 and they were carried over into Shechem and were placed in the tomb (which *N+kO) bought Abraham for a sum of silver from the sons of Hamor (in *N+kO) Shechem.
ತತಸ್ತೇ ಶಿಖಿಮಂ ನೀತಾ ಯತ್ ಶ್ಮಶಾನಮ್ ಇಬ್ರಾಹೀಮ್ ಮುದ್ರಾದತ್ವಾ ಶಿಖಿಮಃ ಪಿತು ರ್ಹಮೋರಃ ಪುತ್ರೇಭ್ಯಃ ಕ್ರೀತವಾನ್ ತತ್ಶ್ಮಶಾನೇ ಸ್ಥಾಪಯಾಞ್ಚಕ್ರಿರೇ|
17 Even as now was drawing near the time of the promise that (he agreed *N+KO) God to Abraham, increased the people and multiplied in Egypt
ತತಃ ಪರಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರ ಇಬ್ರಾಹೀಮಃ ಸನ್ನಿಧೌ ಶಪಥಂ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಯಾಂ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾಂ ಕೃತವಾನ್ ತಸ್ಯಾಃ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾಯಾಃ ಫಲನಸಮಯೇ ನಿಕಟೇ ಸತಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಲೋಕಾ ಸಿಮರದೇಶೇ ವರ್ದ್ಧಮಾನಾ ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾ ಅಭವನ್|
18 until that there arose king another (over Egypt *NO) who not knew Joseph.
ಶೇಷೇ ಯೂಷಫಂ ಯೋ ನ ಪರಿಚಿನೋತಿ ತಾದೃಶ ಏಕೋ ನರಪತಿರುಪಸ್ಥಾಯ
19 He having dealt treacherously with the race of us he mistreated the fathers of us making [them] the infants abandon of them unto the not to be given life.
ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಜ್ಞಾತಿಭಿಃ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಧೂರ್ತ್ತತಾಂ ವಿಧಾಯ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾನ್ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕುವ್ಯವಹರಣಪೂರ್ವ್ವಕಂ ತೇಷಾಂ ವಂಶನಾಶನಾಯ ತೇಷಾಂ ನವಜಾತಾನ್ ಶಿಶೂನ್ ಬಹಿ ರ್ನಿರಕ್ಷೇಪಯತ್|
20 In that time was born Moses and he was beautiful to God; who was brought up months three in the house of the father (of him; *k)
ಏತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯೇ ಮೂಸಾ ಜಜ್ಞೇ, ಸ ತು ಪರಮಸುನ್ದರೋಽಭವತ್ ತಥಾ ಪಿತೃಗೃಹೇ ಮಾಸತ್ರಯಪರ್ಯ್ಯನ್ತಂ ಪಾಲಿತೋಽಭವತ್|
21 (When was being exposed *N+kO) then (he *N+kO) took up him the daughter of Pharaoh and brought up him for herself for a son.
ಕಿನ್ತು ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಬಹಿರ್ನಿಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತೇ ಸತಿ ಫಿರೌಣರಾಜಸ್ಯ ಕನ್ಯಾ ತಮ್ ಉತ್ತೋಲ್ಯ ನೀತ್ವಾ ದತ್ತಕಪುತ್ರಂ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಪಾಲಿತವತೀ|
22 And was instructed Moses (in *no) all [the] wisdom of [the] Egyptians; he was now mighty in words and (in *k) deeds (of him. *no)
ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಸ ಮೂಸಾ ಮಿಸರದೇಶೀಯಾಯಾಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಯಾಃ ಪಾರದೃಷ್ವಾ ಸನ್ ವಾಕ್ಯೇ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಯಾಞ್ಚ ಶಕ್ತಿಮಾನ್ ಅಭವತ್|
23 When then was fulfilled to him of forty years a period, it came into the mind of him to visit the brothers of him the sons of Israel.
ಸ ಸಮ್ಪೂರ್ಣಚತ್ವಾರಿಂಶದ್ವತ್ಸರವಯಸ್ಕೋ ಭೂತ್ವಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೀಯವಂಶನಿಜಭ್ರಾತೃನ್ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಕರ್ತುಂ ಮತಿಂ ಚಕ್ರೇ|
24 And having seen a certain one being wronged he defended [him] and he did vengeance for the [one] being oppressed having struck down the Egyptian.
ತೇಷಾಂ ಜನಮೇಕಂ ಹಿಂಸಿತಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ತಸ್ಯ ಸಪಕ್ಷಃ ಸನ್ ಹಿಂಸಿತಜನಮ್ ಉಪಕೃತ್ಯ ಮಿಸರೀಯಜನಂ ಜಘಾನ|
25 He was supposing now to understand the brothers of him that God through [the] hand of him is giving salvation to them; but not they understood.
ತಸ್ಯ ಹಸ್ತೇನೇಶ್ವರಸ್ತಾನ್ ಉದ್ಧರಿಷ್ಯತಿ ತಸ್ಯ ಭ್ರಾತೃಗಣ ಇತಿ ಜ್ಞಾಸ್ಯತಿ ಸ ಇತ್ಯನುಮಾನಂ ಚಕಾರ, ಕಿನ್ತು ತೇ ನ ಬುಬುಧಿರೇ|
26 On the and following day he appeared to those who were quarreling and (was reconciling *N+KO) them to peace having said: Men, brothers are (you yourselves; *k) why why wrong one another?
ತತ್ಪರೇ ಽಹನಿ ತೇಷಾಮ್ ಉಭಯೋ ರ್ಜನಯೋ ರ್ವಾಕ್ಕಲಹ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತೇ ಸತಿ ಮೂಸಾಃ ಸಮೀಪಂ ಗತ್ವಾ ತಯೋ ರ್ಮೇಲನಂ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಂ ಮತಿಂ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಕಥಯಾಮಾಸ, ಹೇ ಮಹಾಶಯೌ ಯುವಾಂ ಭ್ರಾತರೌ ಪರಸ್ಪರಮ್ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಂ ಕುತಃ ಕುರುಥಃ?
27 The [one] however mistreating the neighbour pushed away him having said; Who you appointed ruler and judge over (us? *N+kO)
ತತಃ ಸಮೀಪವಾಸಿನಂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೋ ಜನೋಽನ್ಯಾಯಂ ಚಕಾರ ಸ ತಂ ದೂರೀಕೃತ್ಯ ಕಥಯಾಮಾಸ, ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಮುಪರಿ ಶಾಸ್ತೃತ್ವವಿಚಾರಯಿತೃತ್ವಪದಯೋಃ ಕಸ್ತ್ವಾಂ ನಿಯುಕ್ತವಾನ್?
28 Surely not to execute me you yourself desire [the] same way you executed yesterday the Egyptian?’
ಹ್ಯೋ ಯಥಾ ಮಿಸರೀಯಂ ಹತವಾನ್ ತಥಾ ಕಿಂ ಮಾಮಪಿ ಹನಿಷ್ಯಸಿ?
29 Fled then Moses at remark this and became exiled in [the] land of Midian, where he begat sons two.
ತದಾ ಮೂಸಾ ಏತಾದೃಶೀಂ ಕಥಾಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಪಲಾಯನಂ ಚಕ್ರೇ, ತತೋ ಮಿದಿಯನದೇಶಂ ಗತ್ವಾ ಪ್ರವಾಸೀ ಸನ್ ತಸ್ಥೌ, ತತಸ್ತತ್ರ ದ್ವೌ ಪುತ್ರೌ ಜಜ್ಞಾತೇ|
30 And when were passing years forty appeared to him in the wilderness of the Mount Sinai an angel (of [the] Lord *K) in a flame of fire of a bush.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಚತ್ವಾರಿಂಶದ್ವತ್ಸರೇಷು ಗತೇಷು ಸೀನಯಪರ್ವ್ವತಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿತಸ್ತಮ್ಬಸ್ಯ ವಹ್ನಿಶಿಖಾಯಾಂ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರದೂತಸ್ತಸ್ಮೈ ದರ್ಶನಂ ದದೌ|
31 And Moses having seen [it] was marvelling at the vision; When is approaching then he to behold [it], there was [the] voice of [the] Lord (to him: *K)
ಮೂಸಾಸ್ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ದರ್ಶನೇ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಂ ಮತ್ವಾ ವಿಶೇಷಂ ಜ್ಞಾತುಂ ನಿಕಟಂ ಗಚ್ಛತಿ,
32 I myself [am] the God of the Fathers of you, the God of Abraham and (the God *k) of Isaac and (the God *k) of Jacob.’ Terrified then having become Moses not he was daring to look.
ಏತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯೇ, ಅಹಂ ತವ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾಣಾಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರೋಽರ್ಥಾದ್ ಇಬ್ರಾಹೀಮ ಈಶ್ವರ ಇಸ್ಹಾಕ ಈಶ್ವರೋ ಯಾಕೂಬ ಈಶ್ವರಶ್ಚ, ಮೂಸಾಮುದ್ದಿಶ್ಯ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಸ್ಯೈತಾದೃಶೀ ವಿಹಾಯಸೀಯಾ ವಾಣೀ ಬಭೂವ, ತತಃ ಸ ಕಮ್ಪಾನ್ವಿತಃ ಸನ್ ಪುನ ರ್ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತುಂ ಪ್ರಗಲ್ಭೋ ನ ಬಭೂವ|
33 Said then to him the Lord; do take off the sandal of the feet of you; for the place (on *N+kO) which you have stood ground holy is.
ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಸ್ತಂ ಜಗಾದ, ತವ ಪಾದಯೋಃ ಪಾದುಕೇ ಮೋಚಯ ಯತ್ರ ತಿಷ್ಠಸಿ ಸಾ ಪವಿತ್ರಭೂಮಿಃ|
34 Having seen I saw the oppression of the people of Mine in Egypt and the groans (of them *NK+o) I have heard; and I have come down to deliver them; and now come (I may send *N+kO) you to Egypt.’
ಅಹಂ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಸ್ಥಾನಾಂ ನಿಜಲೋಕಾನಾಂ ದುರ್ದ್ದಶಾಂ ನಿತಾನ್ತಮ್ ಅಪಶ್ಯಂ, ತೇಷಾಂ ಕಾತರ್ಯ್ಯೋಕ್ತಿಞ್ಚ ಶ್ರುತವಾನ್ ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ತಾನ್ ಉದ್ಧರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಅವರುಹ್ಯಾಗಮಮ್; ಇದಾನೀಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಂ ತ್ವಾಂ ಪ್ರೇಷಯಾಮಿ|
35 This Moses whom they rejected having said; Who you appointed ruler and judge?’ — him [whom] God [as] (and *no) ruler and redeemer (has sent by *N+kO) [the] hand of [the] angel who having appeared to him in the bush.
ಕಸ್ತ್ವಾಂ ಶಾಸ್ತೃತ್ವವಿಚಾರಯಿತೃತ್ವಪದಯೋ ರ್ನಿಯುಕ್ತವಾನ್, ಇತಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಮುಕ್ತ್ವಾ ತೈ ರ್ಯೋ ಮೂಸಾ ಅವಜ್ಞಾತಸ್ತಮೇವ ಈಶ್ವರಃ ಸ್ತಮ್ಬಮಧ್ಯೇ ದರ್ಶನದಾತ್ರಾ ತೇನ ದೂತೇನ ಶಾಸ್ತಾರಂ ಮುಕ್ತಿದಾತಾರಞ್ಚ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಪ್ರೇಷಯಾಮಾಸ|
36 this one led out them having done wonders and signs in ([the] land of *NK+o) (Egypt *N+kO) and in [the] Red Sea and in the wilderness years forty.
ಸ ಚ ಮಿಸರದೇಶೇ ಸೂಫ್ನಾಮ್ನಿ ಸಮುದ್ರೇ ಚ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ ಚತ್ವಾರಿಂಶದ್ವತ್ಸರಾನ್ ಯಾವತ್ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ನಾನಾಪ್ರಕಾರಾಣ್ಯದ್ಭುತಾನಿ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮಾಣಿ ಲಕ್ಷಣಾನಿ ಚ ದರ್ಶಯಿತ್ವಾ ತಾನ್ ಬಹಿಃ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಸಮಾನಿನಾಯ|
37 This is the Moses having said to the sons of Israel; A prophet for you will raise up ([the] Lord *K) God (of you *K+O) out from the brothers of you like me myself (of him you will listen to. *K)
ಪ್ರಭುಃ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರೋ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಭ್ರಾತೃಗಣಸ್ಯ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಮಾದೃಶಮ್ ಏಕಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಕ್ತಾರಮ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದಯಿಷ್ಯತಿ ತಸ್ಯ ಕಥಾಯಾಂ ಯೂಯಂ ಮನೋ ನಿಧಾಸ್ಯಥ, ಯೋ ಜನ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಃ ಸನ್ತಾನೇಭ್ಯ ಏನಾಂ ಕಥಾಂ ಕಥಯಾಮಾಸ ಸ ಏಷ ಮೂಸಾಃ|
38 This is the [one] having been in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who is speaking to him in the Mount Sinai and of the fathers of us who received (oracles *NK+O) living to give (to us; *NK+O)
ಮಹಾಪ್ರಾನ್ತರಸ್ಥಮಣ್ಡಲೀಮಧ್ಯೇಽಪಿ ಸ ಏವ ಸೀನಯಪರ್ವ್ವತೋಪರಿ ತೇನ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಸಂಲಾಪಿನೋ ದೂತಸ್ಯ ಚಾಸ್ಮತ್ಪಿತೃಗಣಸ್ಯ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಃ ಸನ್ ಅಸ್ಮಭ್ಯಂ ದಾತವ್ಯನಿ ಜೀವನದಾಯಕಾನಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಾನಿ ಲೇಭೇ|
39 to whom not wanted obedient to be the fathers of us, but they thrust away and they turned back (in *no) (the hearts *NK+o) of them to Egypt,
ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾಸ್ತಮ್ ಅಮಾನ್ಯಂ ಕತ್ವಾ ಸ್ವೇಭ್ಯೋ ದೂರೀಕೃತ್ಯ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಂ ಪರಾವೃತ್ಯ ಗನ್ತುಂ ಮನೋಭಿರಭಿಲಷ್ಯ ಹಾರೋಣಂ ಜಗದುಃ,
40 having said to Aaron; do make us gods who will go before us; As for Moses this who brought out us from [the] land of Egypt, not we know what (happened *N+kO) to him.’
ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಮ್ ಅಗ್ರೇಽಗ್ರೇ ಗನ್ತುಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮದರ್ಥಂ ದೇವಗಣಂ ನಿರ್ಮ್ಮಾಹಿ ಯತೋ ಯೋ ಮೂಸಾ ಅಸ್ಮಾನ್ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಾದ್ ಬಹಿಃ ಕೃತ್ವಾನೀತವಾನ್ ತಸ್ಯ ಕಿಂ ಜಾತಂ ತದಸ್ಮಾಭಿ ರ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾಯತೇ|
41 And they made a calf in the days those and offered a sacrifice to the idol and they were rejoicing in the works of the hands of them.
ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯೇ ತೇ ಗೋವತ್ಸಾಕೃತಿಂ ಪ್ರತಿಮಾಂ ನಿರ್ಮ್ಮಾಯ ತಾಮುದ್ದಿಶ್ಯ ನೈವೇದ್ಯಮುತ್ಮೃಜ್ಯ ಸ್ವಹಸ್ತಕೃತವಸ್ತುನಾ ಆನನ್ದಿತವನ್ತಃ|
42 Turned away however God and delivered them to worship the host of heaven, even as it has been written in [the] book of the prophets: Not slain beasts and sacrifices did you offer to Me years forty in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ತೇಷಾಂ ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿಮುಖಃ ಸನ್ ಆಕಾಶಸ್ಥಂ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರ್ಗಣಂ ಪೂಜಯಿತುಂ ತೇಭ್ಯೋಽನುಮತಿಂ ದದೌ, ಯಾದೃಶಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದಿನಾಂ ಗ್ರನ್ಥೇಷು ಲಿಖಿತಮಾಸ್ತೇ, ಯಥಾ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೀಯವಂಶಾ ರೇ ಚತ್ವಾರಿಂಶತ್ಸಮಾನ್ ಪುರಾ| ಮಹತಿ ಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾ ಯೂಯನ್ತು ಯಾನಿ ಚ| ಬಲಿಹೋಮಾದಿಕರ್ಮ್ಮಾಣಿ ಕೃತವನ್ತಸ್ತು ತಾನಿ ಕಿಂ| ಮಾಂ ಸಮುದ್ದಿಶ್ಯ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿಃ ಪ್ರಕೃತಾನೀತಿ ನೈವ ಚ|
43 And You took up the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of the god of you Rephan, the images that you made to worship them; and I will remove you beyond Babylon.’
ಕಿನ್ತು ವೋ ಮೋಲಕಾಖ್ಯಸ್ಯ ದೇವಸ್ಯ ದೂಷ್ಯಮೇವ ಚ| ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ರಿಮ್ಫನಾಖ್ಯಾಯಾ ದೇವತಾಯಾಶ್ಚ ತಾರಕಾ| ಏತಯೋರುಭಯೋ ರ್ಮೂರ್ತೀ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿಃ ಪರಿಪೂಜಿತೇ| ಅತೋ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಂಸ್ತು ಬಾಬೇಲಃ ಪಾರಂ ನೇಷ್ಯಾಮಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತಂ|
44 The tabernacle of the testimony was (among *K) the fathers of us in the wilderness, even as had commanded the [One] speaking to Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen;
ಅಪರಞ್ಚ ಯನ್ನಿದರ್ಶನಮ್ ಅಪಶ್ಯಸ್ತದನುಸಾರೇಣ ದೂಷ್ಯಂ ನಿರ್ಮ್ಮಾಹಿ ಯಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಈಶ್ವರೋ ಮೂಸಾಮ್ ಏತದ್ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಬಭಾಷೇ ತತ್ ತಸ್ಯ ನಿರೂಪಿತಂ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಸ್ವರೂಪಂ ದೂಷ್ಯಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷೈಃ ಸಹ ಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ತಸ್ಥೌ|
45 which also brought [it] having received by succession the fathers of us with Joshua in the taking possession of the nations whom drove out God from [the] face of the fathers of us until the days of David;
ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ ಯಿಹೋಶೂಯೇನ ಸಹಿತೈಸ್ತೇಷಾಂ ವಂಶಜಾತೈರಸ್ಮತ್ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷೈಃ ಸ್ವೇಷಾಂ ಸಮ್ಮುಖಾದ್ ಈಶ್ವರೇಣ ದೂರೀಕೃತಾನಾಮ್ ಅನ್ಯದೇಶೀಯಾನಾಂ ದೇಶಾಧಿಕೃತಿಕಾಲೇ ಸಮಾನೀತಂ ತದ್ ದೂಷ್ಯಂ ದಾಯೂದೋಧಿಕಾರಂ ಯಾವತ್ ತತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಆಸೀತ್|
46 who found favor before God and asked to find a dwelling place for the (house *N+KO) of Jacob.
ಸ ದಾಯೂದ್ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಸ್ಯಾನುಗ್ರಹಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ಯಾಕೂಬ್ ಈಶ್ವರಾರ್ಥಮ್ ಏಕಂ ದೂಷ್ಯಂ ನಿರ್ಮ್ಮಾತುಂ ವವಾಞ್ಛ;
47 Solomon however built for Him [the] house.
ಕಿನ್ತು ಸುಲೇಮಾನ್ ತದರ್ಥಂ ಮನ್ದಿರಮ್ ಏಕಂ ನಿರ್ಮ್ಮಿತವಾನ್|
48 Yet not the Most High in hand-made (temples *K) dwells, Even as the prophet says:
ತಥಾಪಿ ಯಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವೋಪರಿಸ್ಥಃ ಸ ಕಸ್ಮಿಂಶ್ಚಿದ್ ಹಸ್ತಕೃತೇ ಮನ್ದಿರೇ ನಿವಸತೀತಿ ನಹಿ, ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದೀ ಕಥಾಮೇತಾಂ ಕಥಯತಿ, ಯಥಾ,
49 Heaven [is] to Me a throne, (and *NK+o) the earth a footstool of the feet of Mine; What kind of house will you build Me? says [the] Lord, or what [is] [the] place of the rest of Mine?
ಪರೇಶೋ ವದತಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೋ ರಾಜಸಿಂಹಾಸನಂ ಮಮ| ಮದೀಯಂ ಪಾದಪೀಠಞ್ಚ ಪೃಥಿವೀ ಭವತಿ ಧ್ರುವಂ| ತರ್ಹಿ ಯೂಯಂ ಕೃತೇ ಮೇ ಕಿಂ ಪ್ರನಿರ್ಮ್ಮಾಸ್ಯಥ ಮನ್ದಿರಂ| ವಿಶ್ರಾಮಾಯ ಮದೀಯಂ ವಾ ಸ್ಥಾನಂ ಕಿಂ ವಿದ್ಯತೇ ತ್ವಿಹ|
50 Surely the hand of Mine has made these things all?’
ಸರ್ವ್ವಾಣ್ಯೇತಾನಿ ವಸ್ತೂನಿ ಕಿಂ ಮೇ ಹಸ್ತಕೃತಾನಿ ನ||
51 Stiff-necked and uncircumcised (in the *k+o) (hearts *N+kO) (of you *o) and in ears, you yourselves always the Spirit Holy resist, as the fathers of you also you;
ಹೇ ಅನಾಜ್ಞಾಗ್ರಾಹಕಾ ಅನ್ತಃಕರಣೇ ಶ್ರವಣೇ ಚಾಪವಿತ್ರಲೋಕಾಃ ಯೂಯಮ್ ಅನವರತಂ ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಯಾತ್ಮನಃ ಪ್ರಾತಿಕೂಲ್ಯಮ್ ಆಚರಥ, ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾ ಯಾದೃಶಾ ಯೂಯಮಪಿ ತಾದೃಶಾಃ|
52 Which of the prophets not did persecute the fathers of you? And they killed those having foretold about the coming of the Righteous One, of whom now you yourselves betrayers and murderers (have become; *N+kO)
ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾಃ ಕಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದಿನಂ ನಾತಾಡಯನ್? ಯೇ ತಸ್ಯ ಧಾರ್ಮ್ಮಿಕಸ್ಯ ಜನಸ್ಯಾಗಮನಕಥಾಂ ಕಥಿತವನ್ತಸ್ತಾನ್ ಅಘ್ನನ್ ಯೂಯಮ್ ಅಧೂನಾ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಘಾತಿನೋ ಭೂತ್ವಾ ತಂ ಧಾರ್ಮ್ಮಿಕಂ ಜನಮ್ ಅಹತ|
53 who received the law by [the] ordination of angels and not kept [it].
ಯೂಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯದೂತಗಣೇನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯಾಪಿ ತಾಂ ನಾಚರಥ|
54 Hearing now these things they felt cut up in the hearts of them and were gnashing the teeth at him.
ಇಮಾಂ ಕಥಾಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ತೇ ಮನಃಸು ಬಿದ್ಧಾಃ ಸನ್ತಸ್ತಂ ಪ್ರತಿ ದನ್ತಘರ್ಷಣಮ್ ಅಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್|
55 He being however full of [the] Spirit Holy, having looked intently into heaven saw [the] glory of God and Jesus already standing at [the] right hand of God
ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ್ತಿಫಾನಃ ಪವಿತ್ರೇಣಾತ್ಮನಾ ಪೂರ್ಣೋ ಭೂತ್ವಾ ಗಗಣಂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸ್ಥಿರದೃಷ್ಟಿಂ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣೇ ದಣ್ಡಾಯಮಾನಂ ಯೀಶುಞ್ಚ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್;
56 and he said; Behold I see the heavens (opened up *N+kO) and the Son of Man at [the] right [hand] already standing of God.
ಪಶ್ಯ, ಮೇಘದ್ವಾರಂ ಮುಕ್ತಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣೇ ಸ್ಥಿತಂ ಮಾನವಸುತಞ್ಚ ಪಶ್ಯಾಮಿ|
57 Having cried out then in a voice loud they held the ears of them and rushed with one accord upon him;
ತದಾ ತೇ ಪ್ರೋಚ್ಚೈಃ ಶಬ್ದಂ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಕರ್ಣೇಷ್ವಙ್ಗುಲೀ ರ್ನಿಧಾಯ ಏಕಚಿತ್ತೀಭೂಯ ತಮ್ ಆಕ್ರಮನ್|
58 and having cast [him] out of the city they were stoning [him]. And the witnesses laid aside the garments of them at the feet of a young man named Saul
ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ ತಂ ನಗರಾದ್ ಬಹಿಃ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಪ್ರಸ್ತರೈರಾಘ್ನನ್ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಣೋ ಲಾಕಾಃ ಶೌಲನಾಮ್ನೋ ಯೂನಶ್ಚರಣಸನ್ನಿಧೌ ನಿಜವಸ್ತ್ರಾಣಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವನ್ತಃ|
59 And [as] they were stoning Stephen he was calling out and saying; Lord Jesus, do receive the spirit of mine.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಹೇ ಪ್ರಭೋ ಯೀಶೇ ಮದೀಯಮಾತ್ಮಾನಂ ಗೃಹಾಣ ಸ್ತಿಫಾನಸ್ಯೇತಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನವಾಕ್ಯವದನಸಮಯೇ ತೇ ತಂ ಪ್ರಸ್ತರೈರಾಘ್ನನ್|
60 Having fallen then on [his] knees he cried in a voice loud; Lord, not may place to them this sin. And this having said he fell asleep.
ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಸ ಜಾನುನೀ ಪಾತಯಿತ್ವಾ ಪ್ರೋಚ್ಚೈಃ ಶಬ್ದಂ ಕೃತ್ವಾ, ಹೇ ಪ್ರಭೇ ಪಾಪಮೇತದ್ ಏತೇಷು ಮಾ ಸ್ಥಾಪಯ, ಇತ್ಯುಕ್ತ್ವಾ ಮಹಾನಿದ್ರಾಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ನೋತ್|
