Acts 4
1 When are speaking now they to the people came upon them the (priests *NK+O) and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees,
Mais comme Pierre et Jean parlaient au peuple, les sacrificateurs, le capitaine du temple et les sadducéens vinrent vers eux,
2 being distressed because of teaching of theirs to the people and [their] proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection (that *NK+o) out from [the] dead;
Étant fort en peine, et de ce qu'ils enseignaient le peuple, et de ce qu'ils annonçaient la résurrection des morts en Jésus.
3 and they laid on them the hands and put [them] in custody until the next day; it was for evening already.
Et ils mirent les mains sur eux, et les jetèrent en prison jusqu'au lendemain, parce qu'il était déjà tard.
4 Many however of those having heard the word believed; and became the number of the men (about *N+kO) thousand five.
Mais plusieurs de ceux qui avaient entendu la parole, crurent, et le nombre des hommes fut d'environ cinq mille.
5 It came to pass then on the next day assembling their rulers and elders and scribes
Mais il arriva, le lendemain, que les chefs du peuple, les anciens et les scribes s'assemblèrent à Jérusalem,
6 (in *N+kO) Jerusalem and (Annas the high priest *N+kO) and (Caiaphas *N+kO) and (John *N+kO) and (Alexander *N+kO) and as many as were of descent high-priestly,
Avec Anne, le souverain sacrificateur, Caïphe, Jean, Alexandre et tous ceux qui étaient de race sacerdotale;
7 And having placed them in the midst they were inquiring; In what power or in what name did this you yourselves?
Et ayant fait comparaître les apôtres au milieu d'eux, ils leur dirent: Par quel pouvoir, ou au nom de qui avez-vous fait ceci?
8 Then Peter having been filled with [the] Spirit Holy said to them; Rulers of the people and elders (of Israel *K)
Alors Pierre rempli du Saint-Esprit, leur dit: Chefs du peuple, et anciens d'Israël,
9 if we ourselves this day are being examined as to a good work [to the] man ailing, by what [means] he has been healed,
Puisque nous sommes aujourd'hui recherchés pour avoir fait du bien à un homme impotent, et afin de savoir par qui il a été guéri;
10 known it should be to all you and to all the people of Israel that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom you yourselves crucified, whom God raised out from [the] dead, in Him this [man] has stood before you sound.
Sachez, vous tous, et tout le peuple d'Israël, que c'est au nom de Jésus-Christ de Nazareth, que vous avez crucifié et que Dieu a ressuscité des morts; c'est par lui que cet homme se présente guéri devant vous.
11 This is the stone which having been rejected by you the (builders, *N+kO) which has become into head of [the] corner.’
Ce Jésus est la pierre, qui a été rejetée par vous qui bâtissez, qui a été faite la principale pierre de l'angle.
12 And not there is in other no [one] the salvation; (not *N+kO) for name is there another under heaven which given among men by which it behooves to be saved us.
Et il n'y a de salut en aucun autre; car sous le ciel il n'y a pas un autre nom, qui ait été donné aux hommes, par lequel nous devions être sauvés.
13 Seeing now the of Peter boldness and of John and having grasped that men unschooled they are and ordinary, they were astonished, They were recognizing then them that with Jesus they were being,
Voyant la hardiesse de Pierre et de Jean, et sachant que c'étaient des hommes sans lettres et du commun peuple, ils étaient dans l'étonnement, et ils reconnaissaient qu'ils avaient été avec Jésus.
14 (And *N+kO) the man beholding with them already standing who healed, no [thing] they had to contradict.
Et voyant que l'homme qui avait été guéri, était présent avec eux, ils n'avaient rien à opposer.
15 Having commanded however them outside the Council to go, (they were confering *N+kO) with one another
Alors leur ayant commandé de sortir du Sanhédrin, ils délibérèrent entre eux,
16 saying; What (shall we do *N+kO) to the men these? for truly for a noteworthy sign has come to pass through them to all those inhabiting Jerusalem [is] evident, and not we are able (to deny [it]; *N+kO)
Disant: Que ferons-nous à ces hommes? car c'est une chose connue de tous les habitants de Jérusalem, qu'ils ont fait un miracle évident, et nous ne pouvons pas le nier.
17 But that not on further it may spread among the people, (threats *K) (let us warn *NK+o) them no longer to speak in name this to no man.
Mais afin que cela ne se répande pas davantage parmi le peuple, défendons-leur, avec de grandes menaces, de parler à qui que ce soit en ce nom-là.
18 And having called them they commanded (them *k) at not to speak nor to teach in the name of Jesus.
Et les ayant rappelés, ils leur défendirent absolument de parler, et d'enseigner au nom de Jésus.
19 But Peter and John answering said to them; Whether right it is before God to you to listen rather than God, you should judge.
Mais Pierre et Jean leur répondirent: Jugez s'il est juste devant Dieu, de vous obéir plutôt qu'à Dieu.
20 not we are able for we ourselves what we have seen and we heard not to speak.
Car pour nous, nous ne pouvons pas ne pas parler des choses que nous avons vues et entendues.
21 And having further threatened [them] they let go them nothing finding the how (they may punish *NK+o) them, on account of the people, because all were glorifying God for that having happened.
Ils les renvoyèrent donc avec de grandes menaces, ne trouvant pas le moyen de les punir, à cause du peuple; parce que tous glorifiaient Dieu de ce qui était arrivé.
22 of years for he was more than forty-the man on whom had taken place sign this of healing.
Car l'homme sur qui cette miraculeuse guérison avait été faite, avait plus de quarante ans.
23 Having been let go now they came to [their] own and reported as much as to them the chief priests and the elders had said.
Après qu'on les eut relâchés, ils vinrent vers les leurs, et racontèrent tout ce que les principaux sacrificateurs et les anciens leur avaient dit.
24 And having heard with one accord they lifted up [their] voice to God and said; Sovereign Lord, You yourself (God *K) who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that [is] in them,
Eux l'ayant entendu, élevèrent d'un commun accord leur voix à Dieu, et dirent: Seigneur, tu es le Dieu qui as fait le ciel, la terre, et la mer, et toutes les choses qui y sont;
25 who (of the father of us *NO) through ([the] Spirit Holy *NO) through [the] mouth of David (the *k) servant of You having spoken: so why so why did rage [the] Gentiles and peoples did devise vain things?
Et qui as dit par la bouche de David ton serviteur: Pourquoi les nations sont-elles en rumeur, et pourquoi les peuples projettent-ils des choses vaines?
26 Took [their] stand the kings of the earth and the rulers were gathered together themselves against the Lord and against the Christ of Him.’
Les rois de la terre se sont levés, et les princes se sont assemblés contre le Seigneur et contre son Oint.
27 Were gathered together for in truth (in the city this *NO) against the holy servant of You Jesus whom You anointed, Herod both and Pontius Pilate with [the] Gentiles and peoples of Israel
En effet, Hérode et Ponce-Pilate, avec les Gentils et le peuple d'Israël, se sont assemblés contre ton saint Fils Jésus, que tu as oint,
28 to do as much as the hand of You and the purpose of You determined beforehand to happen.
Pour faire toutes les choses que ta main et ton conseil avaient décidé d'avance devoir être faites.
29 And now, Lord, do look upon the threats of them and do grant to the servants of You with boldness all to speak the word of You
Et maintenant, Seigneur, considère leurs menaces, et donne à tes serviteurs d'annoncer ta parole avec une pleine hardiesse;
30 in that the hand of You stretching out You for healing and signs and wonders to take place through the name of the holy servant of You Jesus.
En étendant ta main, afin qu'il se fasse des guérisons, des miracles et des merveilles par le nom de ton saint Fils Jésus.
31 And when were praying they was shaken the place in which they were assembled, and they were filled all (with the *no) Holy Spirit and were speaking the word of God with boldness.
Lorsqu'ils eurent prié, le lieu où ils étaient assemblés trembla; et ils furent tous remplis du Saint-Esprit, et ils annonçaient la Parole de Dieu avec hardiesse.
32 And the multitude who having believed were [in] heart and soul one; and not one anything of the possessions (to him *N+kO) was claiming [his] own to be, but were to them (all things *NK+o) in common.
Or, la multitude de ceux qui avaient cru n'était qu'un cœur et qu'une âme; et personne ne disait que rien de ce qu'il possédait fût à lui; mais toutes choses étaient communes entre eux.
33 And [with] power great were giving testimony the apostles of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus grace then abundant was upon all them.
Et les apôtres rendaient témoignage, avec beaucoup de force, de la résurrection du Seigneur Jésus; et une grande grâce était sur eux tous.
34 Not even for in need anyone (there was *N+kO) among them; as many as for [were] owners of lands or houses were selling [them] they were bringing the proceeds of what is sold
Car il n'y avait aucun indigent parmi eux; parce que tous ceux qui possédaient des terres ou des maisons, les vendaient, et apportaient le prix de ce qu'ils avaient vendu.
35 and were laying [them] at the feet of the apostles, distribution was made then to each just as would anyone need had.
Ils le mettaient aux pieds des apôtres; et on le distribuait à chacun selon qu'il en avait besoin.
36 (Joseph *N+KO) now who having been called Barnabas (by *N+kO) the apostles which is being translated Son of encouragement a Levite, a Cypriot at the birth,
Ainsi Joses, surnommé par les apôtres Barnabas, c'est-à-dire, fils de consolation, Lévite et originaire de Cypre,
37 When is owning he a field, having sold [it] he brought the money and laid [it] (at *N+kO) the feet of the apostles.
Ayant un champ, le vendit, et en apporta le prix, et le mit aux pieds des apôtres.
