Acts 13
1 There were now (some *k) in Antioch in what is [the] church prophets and teachers, both Barnabas and Simeon who is being called Niger and Lucius the Cyrenian, Manaen also — with Herod the tetrarch brought up — and Saul.
Il y avait dans l’Église d’Antioche des prophètes et des docteurs: Barnabas, Siméon appelé Niger, Lucius de Cyrène, Manahen, qui avait été élevé avec Hérode le tétrarque, et Saul.
2 As were ministering now they to the Lord and fasting said the Spirit Holy; do set apart then to Me (both *k) Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.
Pendant qu’ils servaient le Seigneur dans leur ministère et qu’ils jeûnaient, le Saint-Esprit dit: Mettez-moi à part Barnabas et Saul pour l’œuvre à laquelle je les ai appelés.
3 Then having fasted and having prayed and having laid the hands on them they sent [them] off.
Alors, après avoir jeûné et prié, ils leur imposèrent les mains, et les laissèrent partir.
4 (They themselves *N+kO) indeed therefore having been sent forth by of the Holy (the *k) Spirit went down to Seleucia, From there (then *NK+o) they sailed to Cyprus.
Barnabas et Saul, envoyés par le Saint-Esprit, descendirent à Séleucie, et de là ils s’embarquèrent pour l’île de Chypre.
5 And having come into Salamis they were proclaiming the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews; They had now also John [as] a helper.
Arrivés à Salamine, ils annoncèrent la parole de Dieu dans les synagogues des Juifs. Ils avaient Jean pour aide.
6 Having passed through now (all *NO) the island as far as Paphos they found (a man — *NO) a certain magician a false prophet Jewish — whose name (of Bar-Jesus, *N+kO)
Ayant ensuite traversé toute l’île jusqu’à Paphos, ils trouvèrent un certain magicien, faux prophète juif, nommé Bar-Jésus,
7 who was with the proconsul Sergius Paulus, man an intelligent. He having called to [him] Barnabas and Saul desired to hear the word of God.
qui était avec le proconsul Sergius Paulus, homme intelligent. Ce dernier fit appeler Barnabas et Saul, et manifesta le désir d’entendre la parole de Dieu.
8 Was opposing however to them Elymas the magician — thus for means the name of him — seeking to turn away the proconsul from the faith.
Mais Élymas, le magicien, car c’est ce que signifie son nom, leur faisait opposition, cherchant à détourner de la foi le proconsul.
9 Saul then also [called] Paul having been filled [the] Spirit Holy (and *k) having looked intently upon him
Alors Saul, appelé aussi Paul, rempli du Saint-Esprit, fixa les regards sur lui, et dit:
10 said; O full of all deceit and all craft, son of [the] devil, enemy of all righteousness, not will you cease perverting the ways (of the *no) Lord upright?
Homme plein de toute espèce de ruse et de fraude, fils du diable, ennemi de toute justice, ne cesseras-tu point de pervertir les voies droites du Seigneur?
11 And now behold [the] hand of the Lord [is] upon you, and you will be blind not seeing the sun during a season. Immediately (then descended *N+kO) upon him mist and darkness, and going about he was seeking one to lead by hand.
Maintenant voici, la main du Seigneur est sur toi, tu seras aveugle, et pour un temps tu ne verras pas le soleil. Aussitôt l’obscurité et les ténèbres tombèrent sur lui, et il cherchait, en tâtonnant, des personnes pour le guider.
12 Then having seen the proconsul that having happened he believed being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.
Alors le proconsul, voyant ce qui était arrivé, crut, étant frappé de la doctrine du Seigneur.
13 Having sailed then from Paphos [with] those around [him] Paul came to Perga of Pamphylia. John however having departed from them he returned to Jerusalem.
Paul et ses compagnons, s’étant embarqués à Paphos, se rendirent à Perge en Pamphylie. Jean se sépara d’eux, et retourna à Jérusalem.
14 They themselves now having passed through from Perga came to Antioch (Pisidia, *N+kO) and (having gone *NK+o) into the synagogue on the day of the Sabbaths they sat down.
De Perge ils poursuivirent leur route, et arrivèrent à Antioche de Pisidie. Étant entrés dans la synagogue le jour du sabbat, ils s’assirent.
15 After then the reading of the law and of the Prophets sent the rulers of the synagogue to them saying; Men brothers, if any there is among you a word of exhortation toward the people, do speak.
Après la lecture de la loi et des prophètes, les chefs de la synagogue leur envoyèrent dire: Hommes frères, si vous avez quelque exhortation à adresser au peuple, parlez.
16 Having risen up then Paul and having made a sign with the hand he said; Men Israelites and you who [are] fearing God, do listen.
Paul se leva, et, ayant fait signe de la main, il dit: Hommes Israélites, et vous qui craignez Dieu, écoutez!
17 The God of the people this of Israel chose the fathers of us and the people exalted in the sojourn in [the] land (of Egypt *N+kO) and with arm uplifted brought them out of it;
Le Dieu de ce peuple d’Israël a choisi nos pères. Il mit ce peuple en honneur pendant son séjour au pays d’Égypte, et il l’en fit sortir par son bras puissant.
18 and of about forty years for a period He endured the ways of them in the wilderness,
Il les nourrit près de quarante ans dans le désert;
19 and having destroyed nations seven in [the] land of Canaan He gave as an inheritance (to them *k) the land of them —
et, ayant détruit sept nations au pays de Canaan, il leur en accorda le territoire comme propriété.
20 during years four hundred and fifty; And after these things He gave [them] judges until Samuel the prophet;
Après cela, durant quatre cent cinquante ans environ, il leur donna des juges, jusqu’au prophète Samuel.
21 Then Then they asked for a king, and gave to them God Saul son of Kish, a man of [the] tribe of Benjamin, years forty;
Ils demandèrent alors un roi. Et Dieu leur donna, pendant quarante ans, Saül, fils de Kis, de la tribu de Benjamin;
22 And having removed him He raised up David to them as king, to whom also He said having carried witness: I have found David the [son of] Jesse a man according to the heart of Mine, who will do all the will of Mine.
puis, l’ayant rejeté, il leur suscita pour roi David, auquel il a rendu ce témoignage: J’ai trouvé David, fils d’Isaï, homme selon mon cœur, qui accomplira toutes mes volontés.
23 Of this [man] the God of the seed according to promise (has brought *N+KO) to Israel ([the] Savior *NK+O) Jesus —
C’est de la postérité de David que Dieu, selon sa promesse, a suscité à Israël un Sauveur, qui est Jésus.
24 When was proclaiming John before [the] face of the coming of Him a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
Avant sa venue, Jean avait prêché le baptême de repentance à tout le peuple d’Israël.
25 While then was fulfilling John the course he was saying; (whom *N+kO) me myself do you suppose to be? Not am [he] I myself; but behold He comes after me myself of whom not I am worthy the sandal of the feet to untie.
Et lorsque Jean achevait sa course, il disait: Je ne suis pas celui que vous pensez; mais voici, après moi vient celui des pieds duquel je ne suis pas digne de délier les souliers.
26 Men brothers, sons of [the] family of Abraham and you who [are] among you fearing God, (to us *N+KO) the message of the salvation this (was sent out. *N+kO)
Hommes frères, fils de la race d’Abraham, et vous qui craignez Dieu, c’est à vous que cette parole de salut a été envoyée.
27 Those for dwelling in Jerusalem and the rulers of them Him not having known and the voices of the prophets that on every Sabbath are being read, having condemned [Him] they fulfilled [them];
Car les habitants de Jérusalem et leurs chefs ont méconnu Jésus, et, en le condamnant, ils ont accompli les paroles des prophètes qui se lisent chaque sabbat.
28 And no cause of death having found they begged Pilate to execute him.
Quoiqu’ils ne trouvassent en lui rien qui fût digne de mort, ils ont demandé à Pilate de le faire mourir.
29 When then they had finished (all *N+kO) the [things] about Him written, having taken [Him] down from the tree they put [Him] in a tomb.
Et, après qu’ils eurent accompli tout ce qui est écrit de lui, ils le descendirent de la croix et le déposèrent dans un sépulcre.
30 But God raised Him out from [the] dead,
Mais Dieu l’a ressuscité des morts.
31 who appeared for days many to those having come up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who (now *NO) are witnesses of Him to the people.
Il est apparu pendant plusieurs jours à ceux qui étaient montés avec lui de la Galilée à Jérusalem, et qui sont maintenant ses témoins auprès du peuple.
32 And we ourselves to you evangelise the to the fathers promise having been made,
Et nous, nous vous annonçons cette bonne nouvelle que la promesse faite à nos pères,
33 that this God has fulfilled to the children of them (to us *NK+O) having raised up Jesus, as also in the psalm it has been written in the (second *NK+O) Son of Mine are You yourself, I myself today have begotten you.’
Dieu l’a accomplie pour nous leurs enfants, en ressuscitant Jésus, selon ce qui est écrit dans le Psaume deuxième: Tu es mon Fils, Je t’ai engendré aujourd’hui.
34 for then He raised Him out from [the] dead no more being about to return to decay, thus He has spoken that I will give to you the holy [blessings] of David the sure [blessings].’
Qu’il l’ait ressuscité des morts, de telle sorte qu’il ne retournera pas à la corruption, c’est ce qu’il a déclaré, en disant: Je vous donnerai les grâces saintes promises à David, ces grâces qui sont assurées.
35 (therefore *N+kO) also in another He says: Not You will allow the Holy One of you to see decay.’
C’est pourquoi il dit encore ailleurs: Tu ne permettras pas que ton Saint voie la corruption.
36 David indeed for in his own generation having served the of God purpose he fell asleep and he was added to the fathers of him and saw decay;
Or, David, après avoir en son temps servi au dessein de Dieu, est mort, a été réuni à ses pères, et a vu la corruption.
37 The [One] however God raised up not did see decay.
Mais celui que Dieu a ressuscité n’a pas vu la corruption.
38 Known therefore it should be to you, men brothers, that through this One to you forgiveness of sins is proclaimed;
Sachez donc, hommes frères, que c’est par lui que le pardon des péchés vous est annoncé,
39 And from all things from which not you were able in (the *k) law of Moses to be justified, in Him everyone who is believing is justified.
et que quiconque croit est justifié par lui de toutes les choses dont vous ne pouviez être justifiés par la loi de Moïse.
40 do take heed therefore lest may come about (upon you *K) that said in the prophets:
Ainsi, prenez garde qu’il ne vous arrive ce qui est dit dans les prophètes:
41 Behold! you scoffers, and do wonder and do perish for a work am working I myself in the days of you, a work (that *N+kO) certainly not you may believe even if one shall declare it to you.’
Voyez, contempteurs, Soyez étonnés et disparaissez; Car je vais faire en vos jours une œuvre, Une œuvre que vous ne croiriez pas si on vous la racontait.
42 When are departing then (they *no) (from the *k) (synagogue *K) (of the *k) (Jews *K) were begging (the gentiles *K) on the next Sabbath to be spoken to them declarations these.
Lorsqu’ils sortirent, on les pria de parler le sabbat suivant sur les mêmes choses;
43 When was releasing then the synagogue followed many of the Jews and of the worshipping converts after Paul and after Barnabas, who speaking to them were persuading them (to continue *N+kO) in the grace of God.
et, à l’issue de l’assemblée, beaucoup de Juifs et de prosélytes pieux suivirent Paul et Barnabas, qui s’entretinrent avec eux, et les exhortèrent à rester attachés à la grâce de Dieu.
44 On the (now *NK+o) coming Sabbath almost all the city was gathered together to hear the word (of the Lord. *N+KO)
Le sabbat suivant, presque toute la ville se rassembla pour entendre la parole de Dieu.
45 Having seen however the Jews the crowds they were filled with jealousy and were contradicting the [things] by Paul (spoken *N+kO) (denying and *K) denigrating [him].
Les Juifs, voyant la foule, furent remplis de jalousie, et ils s’opposaient à ce que disait Paul, en le contredisant et en l’injuriant.
46 Having spoken boldly (also *N+kO) Paul and Barnabas said; To you it was necessary first to be spoken the word of God; but since (now *ko) you thrust away it and not worthy you judge yourselves of eternal life, behold we are turning to the Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)
Paul et Barnabas leur dirent avec assurance: C’est à vous premièrement que la parole de Dieu devait être annoncée; mais, puisque vous la repoussez, et que vous vous jugez vous-mêmes indignes de la vie éternelle, voici, nous nous tournons vers les païens. (aiōnios g166)
47 Thus for has commanded us the Lord: I have set you for a light of [the] Gentiles to be you for salvation until [the] uttermost part of the earth.’
Car ainsi nous l’a ordonné le Seigneur: Je t’ai établi pour être la lumière des nations, Pour porter le salut jusqu’aux extrémités de la terre.
48 Hearing [it] then the Gentiles (were rejoicing *NK+o) and they were glorifying the word of the (Lord *NK+O) and they believed as many as were appointed to life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Les païens se réjouissaient en entendant cela, ils glorifiaient la parole du Seigneur, et tous ceux qui étaient destinés à la vie éternelle crurent. (aiōnios g166)
49 Was carried then the word of the Lord through all the region.
La parole du Seigneur se répandait dans tout le pays.
50 The but Jews incited the worshipping women (and *k) [those] prominent and the principals of the city and they stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas and expelled them from the district of them.
Mais les Juifs excitèrent les femmes dévotes de distinction et les principaux de la ville; ils provoquèrent une persécution contre Paul et Barnabas, et ils les chassèrent de leur territoire.
51 But having shaken off the dust of the feet (of them *k) against them they went to Iconium.
Paul et Barnabas secouèrent contre eux la poussière de leurs pieds, et allèrent à Icone,
52 (and *N+kO) the disciples were filled with joy and [the] Spirit Holy.
tandis que les disciples étaient remplis de joie et du Saint-Esprit.
