2 Timothy 1

1 Paul an apostle of Christ Jesus through [the] will of God according to [the] promise of life in Christ Jesus

೧ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜೀವ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತಯೇಸುವಿನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾದ ಪೌಲನು,

2 To Timothy [my] beloved child: Grace, mercy, [and] peace from God [the] Father and Christ Jesus the Lord of us.

೨ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಕುಮಾರನಾದ ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನಿಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವುದೇನಂದರೆ, ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತಯೇಸುವಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ, ಕರುಣೆಯೂ, ಶಾಂತಿಯೂ ಆಗಲಿ.

3 Thankful I am to God, whom I serve from [my] forefathers with a pure conscience, as unceasingly I have the of you remembrance in the prayers of mine night and day

೩ನಾನು ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಭಕ್ತಿಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ. ಶುದ್ಧ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಿಂದ ಸೇವಿಸುವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

4 longing you to see, having yourself recalled your tears, so that with joy I may be filled

೪ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷಭರಿತನಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

5 remembrance (having taken *N+kO) of the within you sincere faith, which dwelt first in the grandmother of you Lois and in the mother of you Eunice, I have been persuaded now that also [it is] in you.

೫ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು. ಆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಜ್ಜಿಯಾದ ಲೋವಿಯಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಯೂನೀಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅದು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

6 For this reason I remind you to kindle anew the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of the hands of mine;

೬ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಸ್ತವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟದರ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿನಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪಾವರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

7 Not for has given us God a spirit of cowardice but of power and of love and of self-control.

೭ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಆತ್ಮವು ಬಲ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಸಂಯಮಗಳ ಆತ್ಮವೇ ಹೊರತು ಹೇಡಿತನದ ಆತ್ಮವಲ್ಲ.

8 Not therefore you may be ashamed of the testimony of the Lord of us nor of me myself the prisoner of Him, but do suffer together for the gospel according to [the] power of God

೮ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳುವ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಆತನ ಸೆರೆಯವನಾದ ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡದೆ, ದೇವರ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನನುಭವಿಸು.

9 the [One who] having saved us and having called [us] with a calling holy, not according to the works of us but according to [His] own purpose and grace which having been given us in Christ Jesus before time eternal, (aiōnios g166)

೯ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸುಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ತನ್ನ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದನು. ಆತನು ಅನಾದಿಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, (aiōnios g166)

10 having been made manifest also now through the appearing of the Savior of us Christ Jesus, having abolished indeed death, having brought to light however life and immortality through the gospel,

೧೦ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈತನು ಮರಣವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಜೀವವನ್ನೂ ಅಮರತ್ವವನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

11 to which was appointed I myself a herald and an apostle and a teacher (of gentiles; *KO)

೧೧ಆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಚಾರಕನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧಕನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೆನು.

12 For this reason also these things I suffer, But not I am ashamed; I know for in whom I have believed and I have been persuaded that able He is the entrusted deposit of mine to guard for that [very] day.

೧೨ಅದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತದಿಂದಲೇ ಈ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ನಂಬಿರುವಾತನನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಆ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

13 [The] pattern do retain of sound words which from me you did hear in [the] faith and love that [are] in Christ Jesus;

೧೩ನೀನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೂ ಉಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ, ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಬೋಧನಾ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಅನುಸರಿಸು.

14 The good (entrusted deposit *N+kO) do keep through [the] Spirit Holy who is dwelling in us.

೧೪ನಿನ್ನ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೋ.

15 You know this, that turned away from me all those in Asia, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.

೧೫ಆಸ್ಯಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟರೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಗೇಲನೂ ಹೆರ್ಮೊಗೇನನೂ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

16 would grant mercy the Lord to the of Onesiphorus household; because often me he refreshed and the chain of mine not (he was ashamed of, *N+kO)

೧೬ಒನೇಸಿಪೊರನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಲಿ, ಅವನು ಹಲವುಬಾರಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಪಚರಿಸಿದನು. ನನ್ನ ಬೇಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡದೆ,

17 But having arrived in Rome (earnestly *N+kO) he sought out me and found [me];

೧೭ರೋಮಾಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಕೂಡಲೆ ಬಹು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು.

18 would grant unto him the Lord to find mercy from [the] Lord in that [very] day! And how much in Ephesus he served very well you yourself know.

೧೮ಅವನು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿ. ಎಫೆಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಉಪಚಾರಮಾಡಿದನೆಂಬದು ನಿನಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ.
