2 Thessalonians 2

1 We implore now you, brothers, by the coming of the Lord of us Jesus Christ and our gathering together unto Him

Ali vas molimo, braæo, za dolazak Gospoda našega Isusa Hrista, i za naš sastanak u njemu,

2 for not soon to be shaken you in mind (nor *N+kO) to be troubled, neither through spirit nor through word nor through letter as if through us, as that has been present the day of the (Lord. *N+KO)

Da se ne date lasno pokrenuti od uma, niti da se plašite, ni duhom ni rijeèju, ni poslanicom, kao da je od nas poslana, da je veæ nastao dan Hristov.

3 No one you may deceive in not one way; that only unless shall have come the apostasy first and shall have been revealed the man (of lawlessness, *N+KO) the son of destruction,

Da vas niko ne prevari nikakijem naèinom; jer neæe doæi dok ne doðe najprije otpad, i ne pokaže se èovjek bezakonja, sin pogibli,

4 who is opposing and exalting himself above every [one] named god or object of worship so as for him in the temple of God (as god *K) to sit down setting forth he himself that is God.

Koji se protivi i podiže više svega što se zove Bog ili se poštuje, tako da æe on sjesti u crkvi Božijoj kao Bog pokazujuæi sebe da je Bog.

5 Surely you do remember that yet being with you these things I was saying to you?

Ne pamtite li da sam vam ovo kazivao još kad sam kod vas bio?

6 And now that which is restraining you know for to be revealed him in (his own *NK+o) time.

I sad znate što zadržava da se ne javi u svoje vrijeme.

7 The for mystery already is working of lawlessness, only [there is] the [one] restraining [it] at present until out of [the] midst he may be [gone];

Jer se veæ radi tajna bezakonja, samo dok se ukloni onaj koji sad zadržava.

8 And then will be revealed the lawless [one] whom the Lord (Jesus *NO) (will execute *N+kO) with the breath of the mouth of Him and will annul by the appearing of the coming of Him;

Pa æe se onda javiti bezakonik, kojega æe Gospod Isus ubiti duhom usta svojijeh, i iskorijeniti svjetlošæu dolaska svojega;

9 whose is coming according to [the] working of Satan in every power and in signs and in wonders of falsehood

Kojega je dolazak po èinjenju sotoninu sa svakom silom, i znacima i lažnijem èudesima,

10 and in every deceit of wickedness (in *k) unto those perishing, in return for which the love of the truth not they received in order for to be saved them;

I sa svakom prijevarom nepravde meðu onima koji ginu: jer ljubavi istine ne primiše, da bi se spasli.

11 And because of this (sends *N+kO) to them God a powerful delusion so that to believe they what [is] false,

I zato æe im Bog poslati silu prijevare, da vjeruju laži;

12 in order that may be judged (all *NK+o) those not having believed the truth but having delighted (in *k) in unrighteousness.

Da prime sud svi koji ne vjerovaše istini, nego volješe nepravdu.

13 We ourselves however ought to give thanks to God always concerning you, brothers beloved by [the] Lord, that (has chosen *N+kO) you God (from [the] beginning *N+kO) unto salvation in [the] sanctification of [the] Spirit and [by] faith of [the] truth,

A mi smo dužni svagda zahvaljivati Bogu za vas, braæo ljubazna Gospodu! što vas je Bog od poèetka izabrao za spasenije u svetinji Duha i vjeri istine.

14 to this (also *n) He called you through the gospel of us to [the] obtaining of [the] glory of the Lord of us Jesus Christ.

U koje vas dozva jevanðeljem našijem, da dobijete slavu Gospoda našega Isusa Hrista.

15 So then, brothers, do stand firm and do hold fast to the traditions that you were taught whether through word or through letter from us.

Tako dakle, braæo, stojte i držite uredbe kojima se nauèiste ili rijeèju ili iz poslanice naše.

16 Himself now the Lord of us Jesus Christ and God (the *N+KO) Father of us, the [One] having loved us and having given [us] comfort eternal and hope good by grace, (aiōnios g166)

A sam Gospod naš Isus Hristos, i Bog i otac naš, kojemu omiljesmo i dade nam utjehu vjeènu i nad dobri u blagodati, (aiōnios g166)

17 would He encourage your hearts and would He strengthen (you *k) in every work and word good.

Da utješi srca vaša i da vas utvrdi u svakoj rijeèi i djelu dobrome.
