2 Peter 1
1 (Simon *NK+o) Peter a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ To those equally precious with ours having obtained a faith through [the] righteousness of the God of us and Savior Jesus Christ.
Siméon Pierre, serviteur et apôtre de Jésus-Christ, à ceux qui ont eu en partage une foi du même prix que la nôtre, dans la justice de notre Dieu et Sauveur Jésus-Christ.
2 Grace to you and peace would be multiplied in [the] knowledge of God and of Jesus the Lord of us.
La grâce et la paix vous soient multipliées, dans la connaissance de Dieu et de notre Seigneur Jésus.
3 Accordingly all things to us by the divine power of Him toward life and godliness having himself given through the knowledge of the [One who] having called us ([by His] own *N+KO) (glory *N+kO) and (excellence, *N+kO)
Comme sa divine puissance nous a donné tout ce qui regarde la vie et la piété, par la connaissance de celui qui nous a appelés par sa gloire et par sa vertu;
4 through which the precious and magnificent to us promises He has himself given, so that through these you may become of [the] divine partakers nature having escaped the in (the *no) world in desire decay.
Par lesquelles nous ont été données les très grandes et précieuses promesses, afin que par leur moyen vous soyez participants de la nature divine, en fuyant la corruption qui règne dans le monde par la convoitise;
5 And very [reason] for this now earnestness all having brought in do supplement into the faith of you virtue, into and virtue knowledge,
Ainsi, y apportant tout votre zèle, ajoutez à votre foi la vertu, et à la vertu la science;
6 into then knowledge self-control, into then self-control endurance, into then endurance godliness,
Et à la science la tempérance; et à la tempérance la patience; et à la patience la piété;
7 in then godliness brotherly affection, in then brotherly affection love.
Et à la piété l'amour fraternel; et à l'amour fraternel la charité.
8 These things for in you being and abounding neither idle nor unfruitful make [you] as to the of the Lord of us Jesus Christ knowledge.
Car si ces choses sont en vous, et y abondent, elles ne vous laisseront ni oisifs, ni stériles dans la connaissance de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ.
9 In whomever for not are present these things, blind he is being short sighted, forgetfulness having received of the purification the former of him (sins. *NK+o)
Mais celui en qui ces choses ne se trouvent point, est aveugle, sa vue est courte, et il a oublié la purification de ses péchés passés.
10 Therefore rather, brothers, do be diligent sure your calling and election to make; these things for practicing certainly not shall you stumble at any time.
C'est pourquoi, frères, étudiez-vous d'autant plus à affermir votre vocation et votre élection; car en faisant cela, vous ne broncherez jamais;
11 In this way for richly will be supplied to you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of the Lord of us and Savior Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
Et ainsi l'entrée dans le royaume éternel de notre Seigneur et Sauveur Jésus-Christ vous sera pleinement accordée. (aiōnios g166)
12 Therefore (I will be ready *N+KO) always you to remind concerning these things though knowing [them] and strengthened in the being present [in you] truth.
C'est pourquoi, je ne négligerai pas de vous rappeler sans cesse ces choses, quoique vous les sachiez et que vous soyez affermis dans la vérité présente.
13 Right now I esteem it, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir up you by putting [you] in remembrance;
Et je crois qu'il est juste, aussi longtemps que je suis dans cette tente, de vous réveiller par mes avertissements,
14 knowing that imminent is the putting off of the tabernacle of mine, even as also the Lord of us Jesus Christ has made clear to me.
Sachant que je quitterai bientôt cette tente, comme notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ me l'a fait connaître.
15 I will be diligent now also at every time to have for you after my departure these things a lasting remembrance to make.
Mais j'aurai soin qu'après mon départ vous puissiez toujours vous souvenir de ces choses.
16 Not for contrived fables having followed we have made known to you the of the Lord of us Jesus Christ power and coming, but eyewitnesses having been of His majesty.
Car ce n'est point en suivant des fables composées avec artifice, que nous vous avons fait connaître la puissance et la venue de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ; mais c'est après avoir vu de nos propres yeux sa majesté.
17 Having received for from God [the] Father honor and glory a voice was brought to Him such as follows by the Majestic Glory: The Son of Mine beloved (of Mine *NO) this is, in whom I myself found delight.
Car il a reçu de Dieu le Père honneur et gloire, lorsque cette voix lui a été adressée par la Gloire suprême: Celui-ci est mon Fils bien-aimé, en qui j'ai mis toute mon affection.
18 And this voice we ourselves heard from heaven having been brought with Him being in the holy mountain.
Et nous avons entendu cette voix venue du ciel, lorsque nous avons été avec lui sur la sainte montagne.
19 And we have more certain the prophetic word, to which well you do taking heed as to a lamp shining in [a] dark place until this day may have shone through may have shone through and [the] morning star may have arisen in the hearts of you;
Nous avons aussi la parole des prophètes, qui est très ferme, à laquelle vous faites bien de vous attacher, comme à une lampe qui brillait dans un lieu sombre, jusqu'à ce que le jour resplendît et que l'étoile du matin se levât dans vos cœurs;
20 this first knowing that any prophecy of Scripture of its own interpretation not is.
Sachez tout d'abord ceci, que nulle prophétie de l'Écriture ne vient d'une interprétation particulière.
21 Not for by [the] will of man was brought prophecy at any time but by [the] Spirit Holy being carried spoke (from *N+KO) of God men.
Car la prophétie n'a point été apportée autrefois par la volonté humaine; mais les saints hommes de Dieu, étant poussés par le Saint-Esprit, ont parlé.
