2 Corinthians 1

1 Paul apostle of Christ Jesus through [the] will of God and Timothy the brother To the church of God which is being in Corinth with the saints all who are being in all Achaia;

Paul, apôtre de Jésus-Christ, par la volonté de Dieu, et Timothée, notre frère, à l'Église de Dieu qui est à Corinthe, et à tous les Saints qui sont dans toute l'Achaïe.

2 Grace to you and peace from God [the] Father of us and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.

La grâce et la paix vous soient données de la part de Dieu notre Père, et du Seigneur Jésus-Christ!

3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of the Lord of us Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions and God of all comfort,

Béni soit Dieu, le Père de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, le Père des miséricordes, et le Dieu de toute consolation,

4 who is comforting us in all the tribulation of us for to be able us to comfort those in every tribulation through the comfort with which we are comforted ourselves by God;

Qui nous console dans toutes nos afflictions, afin que, par la consolation dont nous sommes nous-mêmes consolés de Dieu, nous puissions consoler tous ceux qui sont dans quelque affliction.

5 because even as abound the sufferings of the Christ toward us, thus so through Christ abounds also the comfort of us.

Car, comme les souffrances de Christ abondent en nous, ainsi notre consolation abonde par Christ.

6 If however we are constricted, [it is] for your comfort and salvation if we are encouraged, [it is] for your comfort (and salvation *KO) which is operating in [the] endurance of the same sufferings that also we ourselves suffer,

Et, soit que nous soyons affligés, c'est pour votre consolation et votre salut, qui s'opère dans la patience avec laquelle vous endurez les mêmes maux que nous souffrons aussi; soit que nous soyons consolés, c'est pour votre consolation et votre salut;

7 And the hope of us [is] steadfast for of you; knowing that (as *N+kO) partners you are of the sufferings, so also of the comfort.

(Et l'espérance que nous avons de vous est ferme; ) sachant que comme vous avez part aux souffrances, vous aurez aussi part à la consolation.

8 Not for do we want you to be ignorant brothers, (as to *NK+o) the affliction of us having happened (to us *k) in Asia that against excessively beyond [our] power we were weighed so as to despair for us even to live;

Car, mes frères, nous ne voulons pas que vous ignoriez l'affliction qui nous est survenue en Asie, c'est que nous avons été accablés excessivement, au-dessus de nos forces, en sorte que nous désespérions même pour notre vie.

9 But we in ourselves the sentence of death has, in order that not having trusted we may be in ourselves but in God who is raising the dead;

Et nous nous regardions nous-mêmes comme condamnés à mort, afin que nous n'eussions point de confiance en nous-mêmes, mais en Dieu qui ressuscite les morts;

10 who from such a great a death has delivered us and (will deliver [us] *N+kO) in whom we have hope that also still He will deliver [us]

Qui nous a délivrés et nous délivre d'une telle mort; et nous avons cette espérance qu'il nous en délivrera encore;

11 joining together also of you for us by supplication, so that by many persons for the toward us grace bestowed through many thanks may be given for (us. *NK+O)

Étant aussi aidés par vous et par vos prières pour nous, afin que, plusieurs personnes nous ayant fait obtenir cette faveur, plusieurs aussi en rendent grâces pour nous.

12 For boasting of us this is, the testimony of the conscience of us, that in (openness *NK+O) and sincerity of God, (and *no) not in wisdom fleshly but in [the] grace of God we have conducted ourselves in the world, more abundantly now toward you.

Car ce qui fait notre gloire, c'est ce témoignage de notre conscience, que nous nous sommes conduits dans le monde, et surtout à votre égard, avec simplicité et sincérité devant Dieu, non pas avec une sagesse charnelle, mais avec la grâce de Dieu.

13 No for other things we write to you, other than what you read or even understand; I hope now that (and *k) to [the] end you will understand,

Car nous ne vous écrivons pas autre chose que ce que vous lisez, et que vous reconnaissez, et j'espère que vous le reconnaîtrez jusqu'à la fin.

14 even as also you have understood us in part that boasting of you we are, even as also you [are] ours in the day of the Lord (of us *NO) Jesus.

Selon que vous avez aussi reconnu en partie que nous sommes votre gloire, comme vous serez aussi la nôtre au jour du Seigneur Jésus.

15 And with this confidence I was planning previously to you to come so that secondly (grace *NK+O) (you may have *N+kO)

Et dans cette confiance, je voulais premièrement aller vers vous, afin que vous eussiez une seconde grâce;

16 and through you to pass through into Macedonia and again from Macedonia to come to you and by you to be set forward to Judea.

Et passer de chez vous en Macédoine; puis, de Macédoine revenir vers vous, et être reconduit par vous en Judée.

17 Thus therefore (deciding *N+kO) surely not ever then levity did I use? Or what I purpose according to flesh do I purpose, so that there may be with me myself Yes yes and No no?

Or, projetant cela, ai-je usé de légèreté, ou ce que je projette, est-ce selon la chair que je le projette, de sorte qu'il y ait eu en moi le oui, oui, et le non, non?

18 Faithful however God [is], that the word of us to you not (was *N+kO) Yes and No;

Dieu, qui est fidèle, m'est témoin que la parole que vous avez reçue de nous, n'a point été oui et non.

19 The of God for Son Jesus Christ the [One] among you through us having been proclaimed through me and Silvanus and Timothy, not was Yes and No, but Yes in Him it has always been;

Car Jésus-Christ, le Fils de Dieu, qui vous a été prêché par nous, par moi, et Silvain, et Timothée, n'a point été oui et non; mais il a été oui en lui.

20 As many as for promises of God [there are], in Him [is] the Yes; (Therefore *NO) also (thorugh Him *N+kO) the Amen to God [is] for glory through us.

Car autant il y a de promesses en Dieu, toutes sont oui en lui, et Amen en lui, à la gloire de Dieu par nous.

21 The [One] now establishing us with you unto Christ and having anointed us [is] God,

Or, celui qui nous affermit avec vous en Christ, et qui nous a oints, c'est Dieu,

22 the [One] also having sealed us and having given the pledge of the Spirit in the hearts of us.

Qui nous a aussi marqués de son sceau, et nous a donné dans nos cœurs les arrhes de son Esprit.

23 I myself however as witness God call upon my soul that sparing you no longer no longer have I come to Corinth;

Or, je prends Dieu à témoin sur mon âme, que c'est pour vous épargner, que je ne suis pas encore allé à Corinthe.

24 Not for we lord it over your faith, but fellow workers are of the joy with you; in the for faith you have stood firm.

Non que nous dominions sur votre foi, mais nous contribuons à votre joie, puisque c'est par la foi que vous demeurez fermes.
