2 Corinthians 4
1 Because of this having ministry this even as we received mercy, not we lose heart,
C'est pourquoi, ayant ce ministère selon la miséricorde qui nous a été faite, nous ne perdons pas courage;
2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame not walking in craftiness nor falsifying the word of God, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every conscience of men before God.
Mais nous avons rejeté les choses honteuses qu'on cache, ne nous conduisant point avec artifice, et ne falsifiant point la parole de Dieu, mais nous recommandant nous-mêmes auprès de toute conscience d'homme devant Dieu, par la manifestation de la vérité.
3 If however even is concealed the gospel of us, to those perishing it is concealed;
Que si notre Évangile est voilé, il est voilé pour ceux qui périssent,
4 in whom the god of the age this has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so as for not to beam forth (to them *k) the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is [the] image of God. (aiōn g165)
Pour les incrédules, dont le dieu de ce siècle a aveuglé l'esprit, afin qu'ils ne soient pas éclairés par la lumière du glorieux Évangile de Christ, qui est l'image de Dieu. (aiōn g165)
5 Not for ourselves do we proclaim but Jesus Christ Lord, ourselves now servants of you for the sake of Jesus.
Car nous ne nous prêchons pas nous-mêmes, mais nous prêchons Jésus-Christ le Seigneur; et pour nous, nous sommes vos serviteurs, à cause de Jésus.
6 For [it is] God having said Out of darkness light (will shine, *N+kO) who shone in the hearts of us for [the] radiance of the knowledge of the glory of God in [the] face of Jesus Christ.
Car le Dieu qui a dit que la lumière resplendisse au milieu des ténèbres, est celui qui a resplendi dans nos cœurs, pour faire briller la lumière de la connaissance de la gloire de Dieu en la personne de Jésus-Christ.
7 We have now treasure this in earthen vessels, that the surpassingness of the power may be from God and not from us,
Or, nous avons ce trésor dans des vases de terre, afin que l'excellence de la puissance soit attribuée à Dieu, et non pas à nous.
8 in every [way] being hard pressed but not being crushed, being perplexed but not despairing,
Nous sommes pressés de toute manière, mais non réduits à l'extrémité; en perplexité, mais non sans espérance;
9 being persecuted but not being forsaken, being struck down but not being destroyed;
Persécutés, mais non abandonnés; abattus, mais non entièrement perdus;
10 always the death of the (Lord *K) Jesus in [our] body carrying around, so that also the life of Jesus in the body of us may be manifested;
Nous portons toujours, en notre corps, la mort du Seigneur Jésus, afin que la vie de Jésus soit aussi manifestée dans notre corps.
11 always for we ourselves the living to death are being delivered on account of Jesus, so that also the life of Jesus may be manifested in the mortal flesh of us.
Car, nous qui vivons, nous sommes sans cesse livrés à la mort à cause de Jésus, afin que la vie de Jésus soit aussi manifestée dans notre chair mortelle,
12 So then (indeed *k) death in us works, however life in you.
De sorte que la mort agit en nous, et la vie en vous.
13 Having however the same spirit of faith according to that written: I believed, therefore I have spoken, also we ourselves believe, therefore also speak;
Mais ayant le même esprit de foi, selon qu'il est écrit: J'ai cru, c'est pourquoi j'ai parlé; nous aussi nous croyons, et c' est pourquoi nous parlons,
14 knowing that the [One] having raised up the Lord Jesus also us (with *N+kO) Jesus He will raise up and He will present [us] with you.
Sachant que celui qui a ressuscité le Seigneur Jésus, nous ressuscitera aussi par Jésus, et nous fera comparaître avec vous.
15 For all things [are] for the sake of you, so that the grace having abounded through more and more the thanksgiving may increase to the glory of God.
Car toutes ces choses sont pour vous, afin que cette grâce se multipliant, abonde en actions de grâces d'un grand nombre pour la gloire de Dieu.
16 Therefore not we lose heart; but if even the outward of us man is being brought to decay, yet the (inner *N+kO) (of us *no) is being renewed by day and by day.
C'est pourquoi nous ne perdons point courage, et si notre homme extérieur se détruit, l'intérieur se renouvelle de jour en jour;
17 The for momentary lightness the affliction of us far surpassing to excessiveness an eternal weight of glory is producing for us, (aiōnios g166)
Car notre légère affliction du temps présent produit en nous le poids éternel d'une gloire souverainement excellente; (aiōnios g166)
18 not are looking at we the [things] being seen but the [things] not being seen; The [things] for being seen [are] temporary, the [things] however not being seen [are] eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Puisque nous ne regardons point aux choses visibles, mais aux invisibles; car les choses visibles sont pour un temps, mais les invisibles sont éternelles. (aiōnios g166)
