2 Corinthians 2

1 I judged (for *N+kO) within myself this not again in grief to you to come.

വേദനയുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന മറ്റൊരു സന്ദർശനത്തിനായി നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരരുതെന്നു ഞാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.

2 If for I myself grieve you again who (is *k) the [one] gladdening me except not the [one] being grieved by me?

ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വേദനിപ്പിച്ചാൽ, ഞാൻ വേദനിപ്പിച്ച നിങ്ങൾതന്നെയല്ലാതെ എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കാൻ മറ്റാരാണുള്ളത്?

3 And I wrote (to you *k) this same thing, so that not having come grief (I may have *N+kO) from [those] of whom it was necessary me to rejoice having trusted in all you that my joy of all of you is.

എന്നെ ആനന്ദിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടവർനിമിത്തം ദുഃഖിതനായിത്തീരാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിനാണ് ഞാൻ മുൻലേഖനത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എഴുതിയത്. നിങ്ങൾ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നത് കാണുന്നതിലാണ് ഞാൻ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് നിങ്ങൾക്കു വ്യക്തമായി അറിയാം എന്നെനിക്ക് ഉറപ്പുണ്ട്.

4 Out of for much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you through many tears, not that you may be grieved, but the love that you may know that I have more abundantly toward you.

മഹാദുഃഖത്തോടും ഹൃദയനുറുക്കത്തോടും വളരെ കണ്ണുനീരോടുംകൂടെയാണു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അത് എഴുതിയത്. അതിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശ്യമോ നിങ്ങളെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നതല്ല മറിച്ച്, എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളോടുള്ള സ്നേഹം എത്ര ആഴമേറിയത് എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സിലാക്കിത്തരിക എന്നതാണ്.

5 If however anyone has caused grief, not me myself has he grieved but in part — that not I may burden all you.

നിങ്ങളിലൊരുവൻ എനിക്കു സങ്കടമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ അയാൾ എന്നെയല്ല, ഞാൻ കണക്കിലേറെ പറയരുതല്ലോ, ഒരളവുവരെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എല്ലാവർക്കുമാണ് സങ്കടം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

6 Sufficient to such a one [is] the punishment this which [is] by the majority,

ഭൂരിപക്ഷംപേർ അവനു നൽകിക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ശിക്ഷ ധാരാളംമതി.

7 so that on the contrary rather for you to forgive and to comfort [him], lest perhaps by more excessive sorrow may be overwhelmed such a one.

ഇനി, അയാൾ അസഹനീയമായ ദുഃഖത്തിൽ വീണുപോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനു നിങ്ങൾ അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കുകയും അവനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുകയുമാണു വേണ്ടത്.

8 Therefore I exhort you to confirm toward him love.

അങ്ങനെ, അവനോടുള്ള സ്നേഹം നിങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടും ഉറപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കണമെന്നു ഞാൻ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

9 For this indeed also did I write, so that I may know the proof of you, whether to everything obedient you are.

നിങ്ങൾ സകലത്തിലും അനുസരണം പാലിക്കുമോ എന്നു പരീക്ഷിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതിനാണ് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എഴുതിയത്.

10 To whomever now anything you forgive, I also myself; I also myself; and for I myself (to whom *N+kO) I have forgiven, if anything I have forgiven, [it is] for you in [the] presence of Christ,

നിങ്ങൾ ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവനോടു ഞാനും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നു—ക്ഷമിക്കപ്പെടാനായി എന്തെങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ—നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിലാണ് ഞാൻ അത് ക്ഷമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

11 so that not we may be outwitted by Satan; not for of his schemes we are ignorant.

സാത്താൻ നമ്മെ വഞ്ചിക്കാൻ അവസരം നൽകരുത്. നാം അവന്റെ കുതന്ത്രങ്ങൾ അറിയാത്തവർ അല്ലല്ലോ?

12 Having come now to Troas for the gospel of Christ also a door to me having been opened in [the] Lord,

ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ ത്രോവാസിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ കർത്താവുതന്നെ എനിക്ക് ഒരു വാതിൽ തുറന്നുതന്നു.

13 not I have had rest in the spirit of mine in the not finding my Titus the brother of mine, instead having taken leave of them I went out to Macedonia.

എങ്കിലും എന്റെ സഹോദരനായ തീത്തോസിനെ അവിടെ കാണാതിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ അസ്വസ്ഥചിത്തനായിത്തീർന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ത്രോവാസിലുള്ളവരോടു യാത്രപറഞ്ഞ് മക്കദോന്യയിലേക്കു പോയി.

14 However to God [be] thanks to the [One] always leading in triumph us in Christ and the fragrance of the knowledge of Him making manifest through us in every place,

ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ എപ്പോഴും ജയഘോഷമായി നടത്തുകയും ഞങ്ങളിലൂടെ അവിടത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ പരിമളം എല്ലായിടത്തും പരത്തുകയുംചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തോത്രം.

15 For of Christ a sweet perfume we are to God in those being saved and in those perishing,

ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ യേശുക്രിസ്തു അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന സുഗന്ധധൂപംപോലെയാണ് രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ മധ്യത്തിലും നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നവരുടെ മധ്യത്തിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിതങ്ങൾ.

16 to one indeed an odor (from *no) death to death, to one however a fragrance (from *no) life to life. And for these things who [is] sufficient?

നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നവർക്കു മരണത്തിൽനിന്ന് മരണത്തിലേക്കുള്ള ദുർഗന്ധവും രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർക്ക് ജീവനിൽനിന്ന് നിത്യജീവനിലേക്കുള്ള സുഗന്ധവും. എന്നാൽ, ഈ ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് ആരാണ് പ്രാപ്തൻ?

17 Not for we are like the (many *NK+O) peddling the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God, (before *N+kO) God in Christ we speak.

പലരും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങൾ ദൈവവചനത്തെ ഒരു വിൽപ്പനച്ചരക്കാക്കി മാറ്റുന്നില്ല; മറിച്ച് ദൈവത്താൽ അയയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ എന്ന ബോധ്യത്തോടെ ഞങ്ങൾ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ആത്മാർഥതയോടെ, ക്രിസ്തു തന്ന അധികാരത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
