< 2 Corinthians 2 >

1 I judged (for *N+kO) within myself this not again in grief to you to come.
Ekpebiri m nʼime obi m na-agaghị m abịakwute unu ọzọ, iwetara unu ihe mwute.
2 If for I myself grieve you again who (is *k) the [one] gladdening me except not the [one] being grieved by me?
Nʼihi na ọ bụrụ na m eme ka obi jọọ unu njọ, onye kwanụ ga-akasị m obi ma ọ bụghị unu, unu onwe unu ndị m mere ka obi jọọ njọ?
3 And I wrote (to you *k) this same thing, so that not having come grief (I may have *N+kO) from [those] of whom it was necessary me to rejoice having trusted in all you that my joy of all of you is.
E deere unu akwụkwọ a dịka m kwesiri ime ka m ghara inwe mwute mgbe m bịara, site nʼaka ndị kwesiri ime ka obi dị m mma, nʼihi na o doro m anya na ọṅụ m ga-abụ ọṅụ nke unu niile.
4 Out of for much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you through many tears, not that you may be grieved, but the love that you may know that I have more abundantly toward you.
Eji m anya mmiri dị ukwuu na oke obi mgbu na obi mgbawa deere unu akwụkwọ, ọ bụghị ka m kpasuo unu iwe kama ka unu nwee ike ịmata oke ịhụnanya m nwere nʼebe unu nọ.
5 If however anyone has caused grief, not me myself has he grieved but in part — that not I may burden all you.
Ọ bụrụ na onye ọbụla mere ihe butere obi mgbu, ka a hapụ ikwu ya karịa ka o kwesiri, ọ bụghị naanị m ka o wetaara obi mgbu, o wetakwaara unu niile obi mgbu.
6 Sufficient to such a one [is] the punishment this which [is] by the majority,
Nʼihi na ntaramahụhụ unu niile kpebiri nye ya ezuola.
7 so that on the contrary rather for you to forgive and to comfort [him], lest perhaps by more excessive sorrow may be overwhelmed such a one.
Ugbu a, bikonu ụmụnna m, o kwesiri ka unu gbaghara ya, ma kasịe ya obi, ka ọ hapụ inwe obi ilu maọbụ daa mba na mmụọ ya, rubiga ụjụ oke.
8 Therefore I exhort you to confirm toward him love.
Ya mere ana m arịọ unu, bikonu, gosinụ ya na unu hụrụ ya nnọọ nʼanya.
9 For this indeed also did I write, so that I may know the proof of you, whether to everything obedient you are.
Ihe mere m ji dee ihe m dere nʼakwụkwọ nke mbụ bụ ka m chọpụta ma unu jikekwara mgbe niile irube isi nʼihe niile.
10 To whomever now anything you forgive, I also myself; I also myself; and for I myself (to whom *N+kO) I have forgiven, if anything I have forgiven, [it is] for you in [the] presence of Christ,
Ọ bụrụ na unu agbaghara onye ahụ mụ onwe m kwa agbagharala ya. Mgbaghara m, a sịkwa na o nwere ihe m na-agbaghara, ana m eme ya nʼihi unu nʼihu Kraịst.
11 so that not we may be outwitted by Satan; not for of his schemes we are ignorant.
Anyị na-eme nke a ka Ekwensu ghara ịghọgbu anyị. Anyị maara ihe niile ọ na-ezube.
12 Having come now to Troas for the gospel of Christ also a door to me having been opened in [the] Lord,
Mgbe m bịarutere Troas ikwusa oziọma Kraịst, e megheere m ụzọ nʼime Onyenwe anyị.
13 not I have had rest in the spirit of mine in the not finding my Titus the brother of mine, instead having taken leave of them I went out to Macedonia.
Ma enweghị m izuike nʼime obi m, nʼihi na ahụghị m Taịtọs ezi nwanna m nʼebe ahụ. Nke a mere m jiri kelee ha hapụ ha gawa Masidonia.
14 However to God [be] thanks to the [One] always leading in triumph us in Christ and the fragrance of the knowledge of Him making manifest through us in every place,
Ma ekele dịrị Chineke, onye na-edugharị anyị na-enye anyị mmeri, nʼihi njikọ e jikọtara anyị na Kraịst, onye na-eji anyị arụ ọrụ, ime ka onye ọbụla nụrụ isisi ụtọ nke oziọma ya.
15 For of Christ a sweet perfume we are to God in those being saved and in those perishing,
Nʼihi na anyị bụ mmanụ isi ụtọ nke Kraịst nye Chineke, nʼetiti ndị ọ na-azọpụta na nʼetiti ndị na-ala nʼiyi.
16 to one indeed an odor (from *no) death to death, to one however a fragrance (from *no) life to life. And for these things who [is] sufficient?
Nʼetiti ndị ahụ na-ala nʼiyi, isisi ụtọ a bụ ihe na-ewetara ha ọnwụ, ma nʼetiti ndị ahụ a na-azọpụta, ọ bụ isisi ụtọ a na-ewetara ha ndụ. Onye zuru ime ihe ndị a?
17 Not for we are like the (many *NK+O) peddling the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God, (before *N+kO) God in Christ we speak.
Nʼihi na anyị adịghị ka ọtụtụ mmadụ ndị na-eji okwu Chineke azụ ahịa. Kama, nʼime Kraịst anyị na-ekwu okwu anyị site nʼobi dị ọcha, dịka ndị ahụ Chineke zipụrụ ịrụ ọrụ a.
