1 Thessalonians 1

1 Paul and Silvanus and Timothy To the church of the Thessalonians in God [the] Father and in [the] Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace (from of God Father of us and Lord Jesus Christ. *K)

Павел, та Сильван, та Тимотей до церков Солунських. у Бозї Отцї і Господї Ісусї Христї: Благодать вам і мир од Бога Отця і Господа Ісуса Христа.

2 We give thanks to God always concerning all of you mention (of you *k) making in the prayers of us,

Дякуємо Богові всякого часу за всїх вас, роблячи спомин про вас у молитвах наших,

3 unceasingly remembering your work of faith and labor of love and the endurance of the hope of the Lord of us Jesus Christ before the God and Father of us;

без перестану згадуючи ваше діло віри, і працю любови, і терпіннє уповання на Господа нашого Ісуса Христа перед Богом і Отцем нашим,

4 knowing, brothers beloved by God, the election of you;

знаючи, браттє Богові любе, вибраннє ваше.

5 because the gospel of us not came to you in word only but also in power and in [the] Spirit Holy and with full assurance much even as you know what we were among you on account of you;

Бо благовістє наше не було до вас у слові тілько, а і в силї, і в Дусі сьвятому, і в великій певнотї, яко ж і знаєте, які ми були між вами задля вас.

6 And you yourselves imitators of us became and of the Lord having received the word in tribulation much with [the] joy of [the] Spirit Holy,

І ви стали послїдувателями нашими і Господнїми, прийнявши слово в великому горю з радощами Духа сьвятого,

7 so as for to became you (an example *N+KO) to all the believing [ones] in Macedonia and (in *no) Achaia.

так що ви стали ся взором усім віруючим у Македониї і Ахаї.

8 From you for has sounded forth the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and (in *no) Achaia, but (also *k) in every place the faith of you toward God has gone abroad, so as for not need to have us to say anything.

Од вас бо промчало ся слово Господнє не тілько в Македониї і Ахаї, та й у всяке місце віра ваша в Бога пройшла, так що не треба нам що й казати.

9 They themselves for concerning us report what reception (we had *N+kO) from you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve [the] God living and true

Вони бо самі про нас звіщають, який вхід мали ми до вас і як ви обернулись до Бога од ідолів, служити Богу живому і правдивому,

10 and to await the Son of Him from the heavens, whom He raised out from the dead, Jesus who is delivering us (from *N+kO) the wrath which is coming.

і ждати Сина Його з небес, котрого воскресив з мертвих, Ісуса, збавляючого нас від наступаючого гнїва.
