1 John 1
1 That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with the eyes of us, that which we have gazed upon and the hands of us handled concerning the Word of life —
Ce qui était dès le commencement, ce que nous avons entendu, ce que nous avons vu de nos yeux, ce que nous avons contemplé et que nos mains ont touché, concernant la parole de vie,
2 and the life was made manifest, and we have seen and bear witness and we proclaim to you the life eternal which was with the Father and was revealed to us — (aiōnios g166)
car la vie a été manifestée, et nous l’avons vue et nous lui rendons témoignage, et nous vous annonçons la vie éternelle, qui était auprès du Père et qui nous a été manifestée, (aiōnios g166)
3 that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim (also *no*) to you so that also you yourselves fellowship may have with us; Indeed the fellowship now our own [is] with the Father and with the Son of Him Jesus Christ.
ce que nous avons vu et entendu, nous vous l’annonçons, à vous aussi, afin que vous aussi vous soyez en communion avec nous. Or, notre communion est avec le Père et avec son Fils Jésus-Christ.
4 And these things write (we ourselves *N(K)O*) so that the joy of us may be completed.
Et nous écrivons ces choses, afin que notre joie soit parfaite.
5 And is this the (message *NK(O)*) that we have heard from Him and we preach to you that God light is and darkness in Him not is none.
La nouvelle que nous avons apprise de lui, et que nous vous annonçons, c’est que Dieu est lumière, et qu’il n’y a point en lui de ténèbres.
6 If we shall say that fellowship we have with Him and yet in the darkness may walk, we lie and not we do practice the truth;
Si nous disons que nous sommes en communion avec lui, et que nous marchions dans les ténèbres, nous mentons, et nous ne pratiquons pas la vérité.
7 If now in the light we shall walk as He himself is in the light, fellowship we have with one another and the blood of Jesus (Christ *K*) the Son of Him cleanses us from all sin.
Mais si nous marchons dans la lumière, comme il est lui-même dans la lumière, nous sommes mutuellement en communion, et le sang de Jésus son Fils nous purifie de tout péché.
8 If we shall say that sin not we have, ourselves we deceive and the truth not is in us.
Si nous disons que nous n’avons pas de péché, nous nous séduisons nous-mêmes, et la vérité n’est point en nous.
9 If we shall confess the sins of us, faithful He is and just that He may forgive us [our] sins and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Si nous confessons nos péchés, il est fidèle et juste pour nous les pardonner, et pour nous purifier de toute iniquité.
10 If we shall say that not we have sinned, a liar we make Him and the word of Him not is in us.
Si nous disons que nous n’avons pas péché, nous le faisons menteur, et sa parole n’est point en nous.
