1 John 4
1 Beloved, not every spirit do believe but do test the spirits whether of God they are, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
AMADOS, no creais á todo espíritu; sino probad los espíritus si son de Dios. Porque muchos falsos profetas son salidos en el mundo.
2 By this (you know *NK+O) the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ in [the] flesh having come of God is.
En esto conoced el Espíritu de Dios: Todo espíritu que confiesa que Jesu-Cristo es venido en carne, es de Dios:
3 and any spirit that not confesses Jesus (Christ in flesh having come *K) from God not is; And this is that of the antichrist which you have heard that is coming and now in the world is already.
Y todo espíritu que no confiesa que Jesu-Cristo es venido en carne, no es de Dios: y este es el [espíritu] de anticristo, del cual vosotros habeis oido que ha de venir, y que ahora ya está en el mundo.
4 you yourselves from God are, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is the [One] in you than the [one] in the world.
Hijitos, vosotros sois de Dios, y los habeis vencido; porque el que en vosotros está, es mayor que él que está en el mundo.
5 They themselves of the world are; because of this from out of the world they speak and the world to them listens.
Ellos son del mundo; por eso hablan del mundo, y el mundo los oye.
6 We ourselves of God are; The [one] knowing God listens to us; He who not is from God not listens to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
Nosotros somos de Dios: el que conoce á Dios, nos oye: el que no es de Dios, no nos oye. Por esto conocemos el espíritu de verdad, y el espíritu de error.
7 Beloved, we may love one another, because love from God is and everyone who is loving from God has been born and knows God;
Carísimos, amémonos unos á otros; porque el amor es de Dios. Cualquiera que ama, es nacido de Dios, y conoce á Dios.
8 The [one] not loving not has known God, because God love is.
El que no ama, no conoce á Dios; porque Dios es amor.
9 In this has been revealed the love of God among us, that the Son of Him the one and only has sent God into the world so that we may live through Him.
En esto se mostró el amor de Dios para con nosotros, en que Dios envió á su Hijo Unigénito al mundo, para que vivamos por él.
10 In this is love, not that we ourselves (have loved *N+kO) God, but that He himself loved us and He sent the Son of Him [as] a propitiation for the sins of us.
En esto consiste el amor; no que nosotros hayamos amado á Dios, sino que él nos amó á nosotros, y ha enviado á su Hijo [en] propiciacion por nuestros pecados.
11 Beloved, if so God loved us, also we ourselves ought one another to love;
Amados, si Dios así nos ha amado debemos tambien nosotros amarnos unos á otros.
12 God no [one] at any time has seen; if we shall love one another, God in us abides and the love of Him in us perfected is.
Ninguno vió jamás á Dios. Si nos amamos unos á otros, Dios está en nosotros, y su amor es perfecto en nosotros.
13 By this we know that in Him we abide and He in us, because from out the Spirit of Him He has given to us.
En esto conocemos que estamos en él, y él en nosotros, en que nos ha dado de su Espíritu.
14 And we ourselves have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son [as] Savior of the world.
Y nosotros hemos visto, y testificamos que el Padre ha enviado al Hijo [para ser] Salvador del mundo.
15 Who[ever] (maybe *N+kO) shall confess that Jesus (Christ *O) is the Son of God, God in him abides and he in God.
Cualquiera que confesare que Jesus es el Hijo de Dios, Dios está en él, y él en Dios.
16 And we ourselves have come to know and we have come to believe the love that has God as to us. God love is, and the [one] abiding in love in God abides, and God in him (abides. *NO)
Y nosotros hemos conocido, y creido el amor que Dios tiene para con nosotros. Dios es amor; y el que vive en amor, vive en Dios, y Dios en él.
17 In this has been perfected love with us, so that confidence we may have in the day of judgment, that even as He is also we ourselves are in world this.
En esto es perfecto el amor con nosotros, para que tengamos confianza en el dia del juicio, pues como él es, así somos nosotros en este mundo.
18 Fear no there is in love, but perfect love out casts fear, because the fear punishment has; the [one] now fearing not has been perfected in love.
En amor no hay temor; mas el perfecto amor echa fuera el temor: porque el temor tiene pena. De donde el que teme no está perfecto en el amor.
19 We ourselves love (him *K) because He himself first loved us.
Nosotros lo amamos á él, porque él nos amó primero.
20 If anyone shall say that I love God and the brother of him may hate, a liar he is; The [one] for not loving the brother of him whom he has seen, God whom not he has seen (not *N+KO) is he able to love;
Si alguno dice: Yo amo á Dios, y aborrece á su hermano, es mentiroso. Porque el que no ama á su hermano, al cual ha visto, ¿cómo puede amar á Dios, á quien no ha visto?
21 And this the commandment we have from Him, that the [one] loving God may love also the brother of him.
Y nosotros tenemos este mandamiento de él: Que el que ama á Dios, ame tambien á su hermano.
