< 1 Corinthians 11 >

1 Imitators of me do be even as I myself also [am] I myself also [am] of Christ.
Kowos in etawiyu, in oana ke nga etawi Christ.
2 I commend now you (brothers *k) that in all things me you have remembered, and even as I delivered to you the teachings you are keeping.
Nga kaksakin kowos mweyen kowos esamyu pacl nukewa, ac kowos fahsrna tukun mwe luti su nga tuh eis ac tafweot nu suwos.
3 I want however you to know that of every man the head Christ is, [the] head now of [the] woman [is] the man; [the] head now of Christ God.
Tusruktu nga kena kowos in kalem kac lah Christ el sifen mukul nukewa, ac mukul tuma el sifen mutan kial, ac God El sifen Christ.
4 Every man praying or prophesying [anything] on [his] head having he dishonors the head of him.
Ouinge sie mukul su pre ku fahkak kas lun God ye mutun mwet uh ke pacl in alu, fin sunya sifal, el aklusrongtenye sifal, su Christ.
5 Every now woman praying or prophesying uncovered with the head dishonors the head (of her; *N+kO) one for it is and the same with which shaven.
6 If for not covers her head a woman, also she should be shorn; If [it is] now disgraceful to a woman to be shorn or to be shaven, she should cover her head.
Mutan se fin tia sunya sifal, ac fal na nu sel elan kalla aunsifal. Na ke sripen mwe mwekin se nu sin sie mutan in resaela sifal ku kalla aunsifal, enenu elan sunya sifal.
7 A man indeed for not ought to cover the head image and glory of God being; (the *no) woman however [the] glory of man is;
Mukul se tia enenu in sunya sifal, mweyen el orekla in luman God ac in wolana lal. A mutan el orekla in fahkak wolana lun mukul;
8 Not for is man of woman but woman of man;
tuh mukul uh tia orekla liki mutan, a mutan uh orekla liki mukul.
9 Truly for not was created man on account of the woman but woman on account of the man;
Oayapa mukul uh tia orekla ke sripen mutan, a mutan orekla ke sripen mukul.
10 Because of this ought the woman authority to have on the head on account of the angels.
Ouinge, ke sripen lipufan uh, sie mutan enenu in sunya sifal in fahkak lah el oan ye ku lun mukul tumal.
11 However neither [is] woman without man nor man without woman in [the] Lord;
A funu nu ke moul lasr in Leum, mutan el tia ku in sifacna fin wangin mukul, ac mukul tia pac ku in sifacna fin wangin mutan.
12 Just as for the woman of the man [is] so also the man through the woman [is], the however all things of God.
Tuh oana ke mutan el tuh orekla liki mukul, in ouiya sacna, inge mukul uh isusla sin mutan; ac ma nukewa ma orekla sin God me.
13 In you yourselves do judge: Becoming is it for a woman revealed to God to pray?
Kowos in sifacna nunku lah ac fal sie mutan in pre nu sin God ke pacl in alu a wangin ma sunyen sifal.
14 (or *K) Not even nature itself does teach you that a man indeed if he shall have long hair, a dishonor to him it is,
Ya tia ma kalem se suwos, lah oemeet me aunsuf loeloes lun mukul uh mwe mwekin se,
15 a woman however if she shall have long hair, glory to her it is? For the long hair instead of a covering has been given to her;
a fin loes aunsifen sie mutan, sie ma kato? Itukyang aunsuf loeloes nu sin mutan tuh in ma afinyen sifal.
16 If now anyone is inclined contentious to be, we ourselves such custom no [other] have nor the churches of God.
Tusruktu kutena mwet fin lungse akukuin kac, pwayena ma nga ac fahk pa: yorosr, oayapa yurin church lun God nukewa, pa inge ouiya lasr ke pacl in alu uh.
17 In this now (instructing *NK+o) not I do praise because not for the better but for the (worse *N+kO) you come together.
Tusruktu, kas in kasru luk nu suwos inge ma nu ke pacl kowos tukeni in alu — nga tia kaksakin kowos, mweyen yohk ma koluk sikyak liki ma wo.
18 First indeed for coming together you in an assembly I hear divisions among you there to be, and in part it I believe;
Ma se meet, nga lohng mu oasr srisrielik inmasrlowos ke pacl kowos tukeni uh; ac nga lulalfongi mu kutu ma nga lohng uh pwaye.
19 It behooves for also factions among you there to be, so that (also *no) the approved evident may become among you.
(Ac nuna oasr srisrielik inmasrlowos, tuh elos su inse pwaye inmasrlowos in akilenyuk.)
20 Coming therefore of you together in one place not it is [the] Lord’s supper to eat;
Pacl kowos tukeni nu sie, tia Kufwa lun Leum pa kowos oru.
21 One for [their] own supper takes first in eating, and this [one] indeed is hungry, that [one] however is drunken.
Tuh ke kowos mongo, kais sie sa na kang ma nal sifacna, pwanang kutu mwet uh masrinsral a kutu sruhila.
22 Surely not indeed houses surely you have in which to eat and to drink? Or the church of God do you despise and put to shame those nothing having? What shall I say to you shall I praise you in this? Not I praise [you]!
Mea, wangin lohm suwos sifacna kowos in mongo ac nim we? Ya ac wo suwos in pilesru church lun God ac akmwekinyalos su muta in enenu? Mea kowos nunku mu nga ac fahk nu suwos ke ma inge? Ya nga ac kaksakin kowos? Tiana ku!
23 I myself for received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread,
Tuh mwe luti nga tuh eis sin Leum nga tafweot tari nu suwos: tuh Leum Jesus, in fong se ke tukakinyukyak el, el eis bread,
24 and having given thanks He broke [it] and said (do take *KO) (do eat: *K) This of Me is the body which [is] for you (being broken; *K) this do perform in of Me remembrance.
ac ke el sang kulo tari, el kunsalik ac fahk, “Eis, mongo; ma inge monuk ma musalla keiwos. Kowos oru ma inge in esamyu.”
25 Likewise also the cup after having supped saying; This cup the new covenant is in My blood; this do perform, as often as (when *N+kO) you shall drink [it], in of Me remembrance.
Oayapa, tukun el mongo tari, el eis cup sac ac fahk, “Cup se inge wuleang sasu ke srahk. Ke kowos nim, kowos in oru ma inge in esamyu.”
26 As often as for (when *N+kO) you shall eat bread this and cup (this *K) may drink, the death of the Lord you proclaim until that (when *k) He may come.
Tuh pacl e nukewa kowos mongo bread inge ac nim ke cup se inge, kowos fahkak misa lun Leum nwe ke pacl se el sifil tuku.
27 Therefore who[ever] maybe may eat bread (this *K) or may drink the cup of the Lord unworthily (of the-Lord *O) guilty will be of the body and of the blood of the Lord.
Ke ma inge, el su mongo bread inge ac nim ke cup lun Leum ke sie ouiya tia suwohs, oasr mwatal ke monin Leum ac srahn Leum.
28 should examine however a man himself, and in this manner of the bread he should eat and of the cup he should drink;
A lela kais sie mwet in sifacna tuni ouiyen moul lal meet liki el mongo ke bread inge ac nim ke cup se inge.
29 The [one] for eating and drinking (unworthily *K) judgment on himself he eats and he drinks not discerning the body (of the *k) (Lord. *K)
Mweyen el fin tia akilen kalmen monin Leum ke pacl el mongo bread ac nim ke cup, el use nununku nu facl sifacna ke el mongo ac nim.
30 Because of this among you many [are] weak and sick, and are fallen asleep many.
Pa ingan sripa se oru mwet puspis inmasrlowos mas ac munas, ac kutu misa tari.
31 If (for *N+kO) ourselves we were judging, not then would we were come under judgment;
Kut fin sifacna tuni kut meet, kut fah tia nununkeyuk.
32 Being judged however by (the *no) Lord we are disciplined, so that not with the world we may be condemned.
Tusruktu Leum God El nununkekut ac kai kut tuh kut fah tia wi faclu lisyukla.
33 So then, brothers of mine, coming together in order to eat one another do wait for;
Ke ma inge, mwet lili luk, ke kowos tukeni nu sie in mongo ke Kufwa lun Leum, kowos in tupan sie sin sie.
34 If (now *k) anyone is hungry, at home he should eat, so that not for judgment you may come together. And the other things as soon as when I may come I will set in order.
Ac fin oasr mwet masrinsral, lela elan mongoi in lohm sel, tuh kowos fah tia nununkeyuk ke kowos tukeni nu sie. Ac sripa saya an, nga fah akkalemye ke nga fahsrot nu yuruwos.
