Zechariah 14
1 Lo! a day, cometh, pertaining to Yahweh, —when apportioned shall be thy spoil in thy midst;
Chú ý, vì ngày của Chúa Hằng Hữu sắp đến khi người ta phân chia những chiến lợi phẩm trước mặt các ngươi.
2 Yea I will gather together all the nations unto Jerusalem, to battle, and the city, shall be captured, and the houses, plundered, and, the women, ravished, —and half of the city, shall go forth, into exile, but, the remainder of the people, shall not be cut off out of the city.
Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ tập họp các nước lại đánh Giê-ru-sa-lem. Thành sẽ bị chiếm, nhà bị cướp, phụ nữ bị hãm hiếp. Phân nửa dân trong thành bị bắt đi đày, nhưng những người còn sót sẽ được ở lại trong thành đã đổ nát.
3 Then will Yahweh go forth, and fight against those nations, —just as he did in the day when he fought, in the day of battle;
Lúc ấy, Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ xuất trận, đánh lại các nước ấy.
4 Yea his feet, shall stand, in that day, on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives, shall cleave asunder, from the midst thereof, towards the east and towards the west, an exceeding great valley, —and half of the mountain, shall give way, toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Trong ngày ấy, chân Ngài đứng trên Núi Ô-liu, về phía đông Giê-ru-sa-lem. Và Núi Ô-liu sẽ bị chẻ ra làm đôi, tạo nên một thung lũng lớn chạy dài từ đông sang tây. Nửa núi sẽ dời về phía bắc, và nửa kia dời về phía nam.
5 Then shall ye flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains, shall reach, very near, Yea, ye shall flee, just as ye fled from before the earthquake, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, —Then, shall arrive, Yahweh my God, All thy holy ones, with thee!
Người ta sẽ chạy trốn qua thung lũng của núi, vì thung lũng ấy chạy dài đến A-san. Người ta sẽ chạy trốn như trong cuộc động đất đời Vua Ô-xia, nước Giu-đa. Bấy giờ, Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời ta, sẽ đến, tất cả các thánh cùng đến với Ngài.
6 And it shall come to pass, in that day, —that there shall be no light, the bright stars, shall be withdrawn;
Ngày ấy sẽ không có ánh sáng; các nguồn sáng sẽ lu mờ.
7 And it shall be a day by itself, The same, shall be known unto Yahweh—Not day, nor night, —But it shall come to pass, that, at evening time, there shall be light.
Đó là một ngày chỉ có Chúa Hằng Hữu biết. Không phải ngày cũng không phải đêm, nhưng vào ban đêm sẽ có ánh sáng.
8 And it shall come to pass, in that day, that there shall go forth living waters out of Jerusalem, half of them unto the sea before, and half of them unto the sea behind, in summer and in winter, shall it he.
Vào ngày ấy, nước sống sẽ từ Giê-ru-sa-lem tuôn trào ra, nửa chảy về Biển Chết, nửa chảy ra Địa Trung Hải, chảy suốt mùa hạ lẫn mùa đông.
9 So will Yahweh become king over all the earth, —In that day, shall there be one Yahweh, and, his Name, be one.
Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ làm Vua khắp hoàn vũ. Vào ngày ấy, chỉ có duy một Chúa Hằng Hữu, và Danh Ngài là Danh duy nhất được thờ phượng.
10 All the land shall turn into a plain, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, —and shall lift herself on high and abide in her own place, from the gate of Benjamin up to the place of the first gate, up to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel up to the wine-presses of the king.
Toàn lãnh thổ, từ Ghê-ba đến Rim-môn, phía nam Giê-ru-sa-lem, sẽ biến thành một đồng bằng. Còn Giê-ru-sa-lem vẫn duy trì vị trí trên cao, ranh giới chạy dài từ Cổng Bên-gia-min đến cổng cũ và Cổng Góc, rồi từ Tháp Ha-na-nên đến nhà ép rượu của vua.
11 So shall men dwell therein, and, utter destruction, shall not be any more, —but Jerusalem, shall abide, in security.
Người ta sẽ ở yên ổn trong Giê-ru-sa-lem, vì thành này không còn bị hủy phá nữa.
12 And, this, shall be the plague wherewith Yahweh will plague all the peoples who have made war against Jerusalem, —his flesh, shall be made to rot, while he is standing upon his feet, and, his eyes, shall rot in their sockets, and, his tongue, shall rot in their mouth;
Đây là tai họa Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ giáng trên các dân tộc tranh chiến với Giê-ru-sa-lem: Khi họ đang đứng, thịt sẽ rữa ra, mắt sẽ mục ngay trong hốc mắt, lưỡi sẽ nát ra trong miệng.
13 And it shall come to pass, in that day, that there shall be a great confusion from Yahweh among them, —and they will lay hold every one upon the hand of his neighbour, and his hand, will rise up, against the hand of his neighbour;
Ngày ấy Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ làm cho họ hoảng hốt, túm lấy tay anh em mình, người này đánh người kia.
14 Moreover also, Judah, will fight with Jerusalem, —and the wealth of all the nations round about, shall be gathered together, gold and silver and apparel, in great abundance.
Giu-đa sẽ chiến đấu tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, sẽ thu tóm của cải các nước lân cận gồm rất nhiều vàng, bạc, và áo xống.
15 And, so, shall be the plague of the horse, the mule, the camel, and the ass, and all the beasts which shall be in those camps, —like this plague!
Tai họa trên cũng giáng trên ngựa, la, lạc đà, lừa, và các thú vật khác trong trại của các dân ấy.
16 And it shall come to pass, that, as for every one that is left out of all the nations that came against Jerusalem, that they shall come up, from year to year, to bow down to the king, Yahweh of hosts, and to celebrate the festival of booths.
Về sau, những người sống sót của các nước ấy sẽ lên Giê-ru-sa-lem hằng năm để thờ lạy Vua là Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân và để dự Lễ Lều Tạm.
17 And it shall come to pass that—whoso shall not come up out of the families of the earth unto Jerusalem, to bow down to the king, Yahweh of hosts, —there shall not, on them, be any rain.
Nếu có dân tộc nào trên thế giới không lên Giê-ru-sa-lem thờ Vua là Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân, thì mưa sẽ không rơi xuống trên đất chúng.
18 And, if the family of Egypt shall not come up, and shall not enter in, upon whom there falleth none, then shall smite them the plague wherewith Yahweh, did plague, the nations, because they came not up to celebrate the festival of booths.
Nếu người Ai Cập không lên thờ Vua, thì Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ phạt, đất họ sẽ không có mưa, và họ sẽ chịu tai họa như tai họa các dân tộc không lên dự lễ phải chịu.
19 This, shall be the punishment of Egypt, —and the punishment of all the nations, when they come not up to celebrate the festival of booths.
Đây là hình phạt Ai Cập và các dân tộc khác sẽ phải chịu nếu không lên dự Lễ Lều Tạm.
20 In that day, shall there be [inscribed] upon the bells of the horses, Holy unto Yahweh, —and the caldrons in the house of Yahweh shall be like the dashing bowls before the altar.
Ngày ấy, trên dây cương ngựa sẽ có khắc hàng chữ: THÁNH CHO CHÚA HẰNG HỮU. Nồi trong Đền Thờ sẽ thánh như bát trước bàn thờ.
21 And every caldron in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be Holy unto Yahweh of hosts, —So shall all who are offering sacrifice, come in, and take of them, and boil therein, —Neither shall there be a merchant any more in the house of Yahweh of hosts, in that day.
Tất cả nồi niêu trong Giê-ru-sa-lem và Giu-đa đều sẽ biệt ra thánh cho Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân; và như thế người ta sẽ dùng các nồi để nấu sinh tế dâng lên Ngài. Không ai còn thấy con buôn trong Đền Thờ của Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân.
