Romans 15

1 We are bound, however, we, who are strong, the weakness of them who are not strong to be bearing, and not, unto ourselves, to give pleasure.

Así que los que somos fuertes debemos sobrellevar las flaquezas de los flacos, y no agradarnos a nosotros mismos.

2 Let, each one of us, unto his neighbour give pleasure—for what is good unto upbuilding;

Cada uno de nosotros agrade a su prójimo para su bien, a fin de edificar le.

3 For, even the Christ, not unto himself gave pleasure, but, even as it is written—The reproaches of them that we reproaching thee, fell upon me:

Porque aun Cristo no se agradó a sí mismo; antes, como está escrito: Los vituperios de los que te vituperaban, cayeron sobre mí.

4 Whatsoever things, in fact, were written aforetime, [all] for our own instruction were written, —in order that, through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have their hope.

Porque las cosas que antes fueron escritas, para nuestro enseñamiento fueron escritas; para que por la paciencia, y consolación de las Escrituras, tengamos esperanza.

5 Now may, the God of the endurance and of the encouragement, give you, the same thing, to be regarding amongst one another, according to Christ Jesus;

Mas el Dios de la paciencia y de la consolación, os dé que entre vosotros seáis unánimes según Cristo Jesús:

6 In order that, with one accord, with one mouth, ye maybe glorifying the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Para que de un solo corazón y de una misma boca glorifiquéis al Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo.

7 Wherefore receive ye one another, even as, Christ also, hath received us unto the glory of God: —

Por tanto recibíos los unos a los otros, como también Cristo nos ha recibido para gloria de Dios.

8 For I affirm Christ to have become a minister of circumcision in behalf of the truth of God, —to confirm the promises of the fathers,

Digo pues, que Cristo Jesús fue ministro de la circuncisión, por la verdad de Dios, para confirmar las promesas hechas a los padres;

9 And that, the nations, for mercy should glorify God: —even as it is written—For this cause, will I openly confess unto thee among nations, and, unto thy name, will strike the strings;

Y para que los Gentiles glorifiquen a Dios por su misericordia, como está escrito: Por tanto yo te confesaré a ti entre los Gentiles, y cantaré a tu nombre.

10 And again he saith—Be glad ye nations with his people;

Y otra vez dice: Regocijáos, vosotros los Gentiles, con su pueblo.

11 And again, —Be giving praise all ye nations unto the Lord, and let all the peoples repeat his praise;

Y otra vez: Alabád al Señor todos los Gentiles, y magnificádle todos los pueblos.

12 And, again, Isaiah, saith—There shall be the root of Jesse, and he that ariseth to rule nations, —upon, him, shall nations hope.

Y otra vez dice Isaías: Saldrá raíz de Jessé, y el que se levantará para regir los Gentiles, los Gentiles esperarán en él.

13 Now, the God of the hope, fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that ye may surpass in the hope, in the power of Holy Spirit.

Y el Dios de esperanza os hincha de todo gozo y paz en el creer, para que abundéis en esperanza por la virtud del Espíritu Santo.

14 But I am persuaded my brethren, —even, I myself, concerning you: that, ye yourselves, also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also, unto one another, to be ministering admonition:

Empero aun yo mismo estoy persuadido de vosotros, hermanos míos, que vosotros también estáis llenos de bondad, hartos de todo conocimiento, de tal manera que podáis amonestaros los unos a los otros.

15 Howbeit, the more boldly, have I written unto you, —in some measure, as bringing it back to your minds, —by reason of the favour given unto me from God, —

Mas os he escrito, hermanos, en alguna parte osadamente, como recordándoos por la gracia que de Dios me es dada,

16 That I should be a public minister of Christ Jesus unto the nations, doing priestly service with the glad-message of God, in order that the offering up of the nations might prove to be acceptable, being hallowed in Holy Spirit:

Para que fuese yo ministro de Jesu Cristo a los Gentiles, ministrando el evangelio de Dios, para que la ofrenda de los Gentiles le sea acepta, siendo santificada por el Espíritu Santo.

17 I have, therefore, [my] boasting in Christ Jesus in the things pertaining to God, —

Así que tengo de que gloriarme en Cristo para con Dios.

18 For I wilt not dare to speak anything save of the things which Christ hath wrought out for himself through me for the obedience of nations, —by word and deed,

Porque no osaría hablar de alguna cosa que Cristo no haya hecho por mí para hacer obedientes a los Gentiles, por palabra y obra:

19 By the power of signs and wonders, by the power of [Holy Spirit]; so that I, from Jerusalem and in a circuit as far as Illyricum, have fulfilled the glad-message of the Christ, —

Con poder de milagros y prodigios, en virtud del Espíritu de Dios; de tal manera que desde Jerusalem, y al derredor hasta Ilirico, lo haya henchido todo del evangelio de Cristo.

20 Although, thus, —as ambitious to be announcing the glad-message—not where Christ had been named, lest, upon another’s foundation, I should be building;

Y de esta manera me esforcé a predicar este evangelio; no donde Cristo fuese ya nombrado, por no edificar sobre ajeno fundamento;

21 But, even as it is written—They shall see unto whom had been announced no tidings concerning him, and, they who had not heard, shall understand.

Antes, como está escrito: A los que no fue anunciado de él, estos verán; y los que no oyeron, entenderán.

22 Wherefore, also, I have been hindered these many times from coming unto you;

Por lo cual también he sido impedido muchas veces de venir a vosotros.

23 But, now, no longer having place in these regions, and having had, a longing, to come unto you a good many years, —

Mas ahora no teniendo ya más lugar en estas partes, y deseando venir a vosotros muchos años ha:

24 As soon as I am journey to Spain, —I am hoping, in fact, when journeying through to get sight of you, and by you to be set forward thither, —if, with your company, I have first in some measure been satisfied.

Cuando me partiere para España, vendré a vosotros; porque espero que pasando os veré, y que seré encaminado por vosotros hacia allá: cuando primero me hubiere en parte saciado de vuestra compañía.

25 But, now, I am journeying unto Jerusalem, ministering unto the saints;

Mas ahora parto para Jerusalem a ministrar a los santos.

26 For Macedonia and Achaia have been well-pleased to make a certain fellowship for the destitute of the saints who are in Jerusalem, —

Porque Macedonia y Acaya tuvieron por bien de hacer una colecta para los pobres de entre los santos que están en Jerusalem.

27 They have been well-pleased, indeed, —and, their debtors, they are; for, if, with their spiritual things the nations have come into fellowship, they are bound also with their own carnal things to minister publicly unto them.

Porque les pareció bueno, y cierto, que son deudores a ellos; porque si los Gentiles han sido hechos participantes de sus bienes espirituales, deben también ellos servirles en los carnales.

28 This, then, having completed, and sealed unto them this fruit, I will come back by you unto Spain: —

Así que, cuando yo hubiere concluido esto, y les hubiere consignado este fruto, pasaré por vosotros a España.

29 And know that, when I come unto you, in the fullness of the blessing of Christ, I shall come.

Y ya sé que cuando viniere a vosotros, vendré en la plenitud de la bendición del evangelio de Cristo.

30 I beseech you, moreover, [brethren], through our Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers on my behalf unto God, —

Ruégoos empero, hermanos, por el Señor nuestro Jesu Cristo, y por el amor del Espíritu, que os esforcéis conmigo en vuestras oraciones por mí a Dios;

31 In order that I may be delivered from them who do not yield in Judaea, and, my ministry which is unto Jerusalem, may prove to be acceptable unto the saints;

Que yo sea librado de los incrédulos que están en Judea, y que éste mi servicio para los de Jerusalem sea acepto a los santos;

32 In order that, with joy coming unto you through God’s will, I may together with you find rest.

Para que con gozo venga a vosotros por la voluntad de Dios, y que sea recreado juntamente con vosotros.

33 Now, the God of peace, be with you all. Amen.

Y el Dios de paz sea con todos vosotros. Amén.
