Psalms 6

1 To the Chief Musician, with stringed Instruments upon the eighth. A Melody of David. O Yahweh! do not, in thine anger, correct me, nor, in thy wrath, chastise me.

সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। আট-তারের যন্ত্র সহযোগে। শমীনীৎ অনুসারে। দাউদের গীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, রাগে আমায় তিরস্কার কোরো না তোমার ক্রোধে আমায় শাসন কোরো না।

2 Show me favour, O Yahweh, for languishing am I: Heal me, O Yahweh, —for dismayed are my bones:

আমার প্রতি দয়া করো, হে সদাপ্রভু, কারণ আমি দুর্বল; আমায় সুস্থ করো, হে সদাপ্রভু, কারণ আমার হাড়গোড় ব্যথায় পূর্ণ।

3 Yea, my soul, is dismayed greatly, Thou, then, O Yahweh—how long?

আমার প্রাণ গভীর বেদনায় পূর্ণ, কত কাল, হে সদাপ্রভু, আর কত কাল?

4 Return, O Yahweh, deliver my soul, Save me, for the sake of thy lovingkindness;

হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার দিকে দেখো, ও আমায় রক্ষা করো; তোমার অবিচল প্রেমের গুণে আমায় রক্ষা করো।

5 For, in death, is no remembrance of thee, —In hades, who shall give thanks unto thee? (Sheol h7585)

মৃতদের মধ্যে কেউ তোমাকে স্মরণ করে না। পাতাল থেকে কে তোমার প্রশংসা করে? (Sheol h7585)

6 I am weary with my sighing, I flood, through the whole night, my couch, —With my tears, I cause, my bed, to dissolve:

আমি আর্তনাদ করে ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়েছি। সারারাত ধরে কেঁদে আমি বিছানা ভিজিয়েছি এবং চোখের জলে আমার খাট ভিজিয়েছি।

7 My face, is all sunken with sorrow, —it hath aged, because of all mine adversaries.

গভীর দুঃখে আমার দৃষ্টি দুর্বল হয়; আমার সব শত্রুদের নির্যাতনে চোখ জীর্ণ হয়।

8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity, for Yahweh hath heard the voice of my weeping:

তোমরা সবাই যারা অধর্ম করো, আমার কাছ থেকে দূর হও, কারণ সদাপ্রভু আমার কান্না শুনেছেন।

9 Yahweh, hath heard my supplication, Yahweh, will receive, my prayer.

সদাপ্রভু আমার বিনতি শুনেছেন; সদাপ্রভু আমার প্রার্থনা গ্রহণ করেন।

10 Let all my foes, turn pale and be greatly dismayed, Again let them turn pale in a moment.

আমার সব শত্রু লজ্জিত ও বিহ্বল হবে; তারা পিছু ফিরবে এবং হঠাৎ লজ্জিত হবে।
