< Psalms 17 >

1 A Prayer of David. Hear, O Yahweh, the right, Attend to my loud cry, Give ear unto my prayer, on lips that would not deceive:
Lusambulu lu Davidi. Yave wa mambu ma busonga bu ndieti samba; dimba yamikina kuama; tamba kutu mu lusambulu luama lueti totukila mu bididi bikambulu luvunu.
2 From before thee, let my sentence come forth, Thine eyes, behold with equity.
Bika ndungunu ama yitotukila kuidi ngeyo ayi bika meso maku mamona momo madi ma lulama.
3 Thou hast tested my heart, hast made inspection by night, hast refined me until thou couldst find nothing, Had I devised evil, my mouth should not have transgressed:
Ka diambu ko tidi fiongunina ntimꞌama, ayi kuthala va builu ka diambu ko wumbekini, mu mbazu wulendi mona kadi kiasa ko. Ndibaka lukanu ti munu ama wulendi sumuka ko.
4 As for the workings of men, By the word of thy lips, have, I, taken heed of the paths of the violent one.
Mu diambu di mavanga ma batu; mu nzila yi mambu ma bididi biaku, ndieti kukikeba mu nzila yi mutu widi matsita.
5 Thou hast held fast my goings on to thy ways, My footsteps have not been shaken:
Bitambi biama bidi kaka bikinda mu minsolo miaku, malu mama malendi sialumuka ko.
6 I, have called upon thee, for thou wilt answer me, O GOD, —Incline thine ear unto me, Hear thou my speech:
A Nzambi, ndikutela bila ngeyo wela kuphana mvutu. Yinika dikutu diaku ku ndidi ayi wa lusambulu luama.
7 Let thy lovingkindness be distinguished, thou Saviour of such as seek refuge from them who lift themselves up against thy right hand.
Monisa matsiminanga ma luzolo luaku lunneni, ngeyo wuphukisanga mu koko kuaku ku lubakala bobo bansuaminanga mu ngeyo, mu bobo bakubalendanga.
8 Guard me, as the pupil of the eye, —Under the shadow of thy wings, wilt thou hide me:
Wukheba banga ngengele yi dieso diaku; wutsueki ku tsi kitsusula ki mavavi maku,
9 From the face of lawless ones who have treated me with violence, the foes of my soul, who come round against me:
mu diambu di batu bambimbi beti kundiamisa, mu diambu di bambeni ziama zieti kunzungidila; ziosi zintomba lufua luama.
10 Their own fat [heart], have they shut up, —With their mouth, have they spoken proudly.
Bakikangidi mintima miawu midi banga matadi; Miunu miawu mintubanga mambu ma lunanga.
11 As for our own goings, now, have they surrounded us, —Their eyes, they fix, bending to the earth:
Balembo ndandakana, banzungididi buabu; balembo tadi mu diambu bambuisa va tsi.
12 His likeness, is as a lion, that longeth to rend, and as a young lion, lurking in secret places.
Badedikini banga khosi yidi nzala kanzuna, banga khosi yiyunduka yidi yilambididi va buangu kisuama.
13 Rise, Yahweh! Confront his face, Bring him down, Deliver my soul from the lawless one [who is] thy sword:
Telama, Yave, wuba nuanisa ayi bika wuba buisa, wukhula mu sabala kiaku; mu mutu wumbimbi.
14 From men [who are] thy hand, O Yahweh, From the men of this age, whose portion, is among the living, and, with thy treasure, thou fillest their bosom, —They must be satisfied with sons, And must leave their abundance to their children: —
A Yave, bika wuphukisa mu koko kuaku mu batu ba phila yayi; batu ba ntoto wawu; bobo mfutu awu widi mu luzingu lualu. Weti lembika nzala yi bobo weti zola bana bawu babeki biwombo, ayi balundila bana bawu batsombi kimvuama.
15 I, in righteousness, shall behold thy face, Shall be satisfied when awakened by a vision of thee.
Vayi minu, ndiela mona zizi kiaku mu busonga. Bu ndiela kotuka ndiela yukuta mu talanga mfikulꞌaku.
