Psalms 145
1 A Psalm of Praise. David’s. I will extol thee, my God, O King, and will bless thy Name, to times age-abiding and beyond:
Louange, de David. Je t'exalterai, ô mon Dieu, ô mon Roi, et je bénirai ton nom dans les siècles, et dans les siècles des siècles.
2 Every day, will I bless thee, and praise thy Name, to times age-abiding and beyond.
Chaque jour je te bénirai et je louerai ton nom dans les siècles, et dans les siècles des siècles.
3 Great is Yahweh—and worthy to be heartily praised, And, his greatness, is unsearchable.
Le Seigneur est grand et digne de louanges infinies; à sa grandeur il n'est point de limite.
4 Generation unto generation, shall celebrate thy works, and, thy mighty deeds, shall they tell:
Les générations des générations loueront tes œuvres; elles proclameront ta puissance.
5 The splendour of the glory of thy majesty, shall they speak, and, thy wonders, will I utter.
Elles diront la majesté de ta sainteté, et raconteront tes merveilles.
6 And, the might of thy terrible acts, shall men speak, and, as for thy greatness, I will recount it.
Elles diront la force de tes épouvantements; elles raconteront ta grandeur.
7 The memory of thy great goodness, shall men pour forth, and, thy righteousness, shall they shout aloud.
Elles rappelleront avec effusion le souvenir de ton inépuisable bonté, et se réjouiront de ta justice.
8 Gracious and compassionate, is Yahweh, —slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness.
Le Seigneur est compatissant et miséricordieux; il est longanime et plein de miséricorde.
9 Good is Yahweh to all, and, his tender compassions, are over all his works.
Le Seigneur est doux pour ceux qui l'attendent, et ses miséricordes sont encore au-dessus de toutes ses œuvres.
10 All thy works, O Yahweh, will give thanks unto thee, —and, thy men of lovingkindness, will bless thee:
Seigneur, que toutes tes œuvres te louent, et que tes saints te bénissent.
11 The glory of thy kingdom, will they tell, —and, thy power, will they speak.
Qu'ils disent la gloire de ton royaume; qu'ils parlent de ta domination;
12 To make known to the sons of men, his mighty deeds, and the splendid glory of his kingdom.
Pour faire connaître aux fils des hommes ta puissance et la majesté glorieuse de ta royauté.
13 Thy kingdom, is a kingdom of all ages, —and, thy dominion, is over generation after generation.
Ton royaume est le royaume de tous les siècles, et ta domination va de génération en génération; le Seigneur est fidèle en ses paroles; et saint en toutes ses œuvres.
14 Yahweh is ready to uphold all who are falling, and to raise all who are laid prostrate.
Le Seigneur affermit ceux qui tombent; il relève ceux qui ont été brisés.
15 The eyes of all, for thee, do wait, and, thou, givest them their food in its season.
Les yeux de tous espèrent en toi, et tu leur donne la nourriture en temps opportun.
16 Thou, openest thy hand, and fillest every living thing with gladness.
Tu ouvres les mains, et tu remplis de bénédiction tout être animé.
17 Righteous is Yahweh in all his ways, and kind in all his works.
Le Seigneur est juste en toutes ses voies, et saint en toutes ses œuvres.
18 Near is Yahweh to all who call upon him, —to all them who call upon him in faithfulness.
Le Seigneur est proche de ceux qui l'invoquent, de tous ceux qui l'invoquent en vérité.
19 The desire of them who revere him, will he fulfil, and, their cry, will he hear, and will save them.
Il fera la volonté de ceux qui le craignent, et il exaucera leurs prières, et il les sauvera.
20 Yahweh preserveth all who love him, but, all the lawless, will he destroy.
Le Seigneur garde tous ceux qui l'aiment, et il exterminera tous les pécheurs.
21 The praise of Yahweh, my mouth shall speak, That all flesh may bless his holy Name, Unto times age-abiding and beyond.
Que ma bouche dise les louanges du Seigneur, et que toute chair bénisse son saint nom dans les siècles, et dans les siècles des siècles.
