Psalms 142

1 An Instructive Psalm of David. When he was in the Cave. A Prayer. With my voice—to Yahweh, make I outcry, With my voice—to Yahweh, make I supplication:

ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനസങ്കീർത്തനം; അദ്ദേഹം ഗുഹയിൽ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ കഴിച്ച പ്രാർഥന. യഹോവയോട് ഞാൻ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; കരുണയ്ക്കായ് എന്റെ ശബ്ദം ഞാൻ യഹോവയിലേക്ക് ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

2 I pour out before him my complaint, My distress—before him, I tell.

എന്റെ ആവലാതി ഞാൻ തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ പകരുന്നു; എന്റെ കഷ്ടതകൾ ഞാൻ അവിടത്തോട് അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

3 When my spirit fainted concerning myself, then, thou, didst take note of my path, —In the course which I was about to take, they had hidden a snare for me.

എന്റെ ആത്മാവ് എന്റെയുള്ളിൽ തളരുമ്പോൾ, എന്റെ പാതകൾ നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് അവിടന്നാണല്ലോ. ഞാൻ പോകേണ്ട പാതകളിൽ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എനിക്കായി ഒരു കെണി ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

4 Look to the right hand and see, that there is none that, for me, hath regard, —Escape is lost to me, There is no one to care for my life.

എന്റെ വലത്തു ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് നോക്കിക്കാണണമേ, എനിക്കായി കരുതുന്നവർ ആരുംതന്നെയില്ല. ആരും എന്നെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നില്ല; എനിക്കൊരു അഭയസ്ഥാനവുമില്ല.

5 I have made outcry unto thee, O Yahweh, —I have said, Thou, art my refuge, my portion, in the land of the living.

യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോട് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; “അങ്ങാണ് എന്റെ സങ്കേതം, ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് എന്റെ ഓഹരി,” എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു.

6 Attend thou unto my loud cry, for I am brought very low, —Rescue me from my pursuers, for they are stronger than I.

എന്റെ കരച്ചിൽ കേൾക്കണമേ, ഞാൻ ഏറ്റവും എളിമപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ പിൻതുടരുന്നവരുടെ കൈയിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണമേ, അവർ എന്നെക്കാൾ അതിശക്തരാണ്.

7 O bring forth, out of prison, my soul, That I may give thanks unto thy Name, —About me, let the righteous gather round, for thou wilt deal bountifully with me.

ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കേണ്ടതിന്, തടവറയിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കണമേ. അപ്പോൾ അവിടന്ന് എനിക്കു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന നന്മമൂലം നീതിനിഷ്ഠർ എനിക്കുചുറ്റും വന്നുകൂടും.
