Psalms 116
1 I love Yahweh—because he heareth my voice, my supplications;
Unë e dua Zotin, sepse ai dëgjoi zërin tim dhe lutjet e mia.
2 Because he hath bowed down his ear unto me, therefore, throughout my days, will I call.
Duke qenë se e ka kthyer ndaj meje veshin e tij, unë do ta kërkoj në gjithë ditët e jetës sime.
3 The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found; (Sheol h7585)
Vargonjtë e vdekjes më kishin rrethuar dhe ankthet e Sheolit më kishin pushtuar; fatkeqësia dhe dhembja më kishin vënë përfund. (Sheol h7585)
4 But, on the Name of Yahweh, I called—I beseech thee, Yahweh, deliver my soul.
Atëherë i kërkova ndihmë Zotit: “O Zot, të lutem, më shpëto”.
5 Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, and, our God, is full of compassion.
Zoti është i dhemshur dhe i drejtë, Perëndia ynë është i mëshirshëm.
6 Yahweh, preserveth the simple, I was brought low, when, to me, he granted salvation.
Zoti mbron njerëzit e thjeshtë; unë isha katandisur në një gjendje të mjeruar, dhe ai më shpëtoi.
7 Return, O my soul, to thy rest, For, Yahweh, hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Kthehu, o shpirti im, në prehjen tënde, sepse Zoti të mbushi me të mira.
8 For thou hast rescued my soul from death, —mine eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
Po, sepse ti ke çliruar jetën time nga vdekja, sytë e mi dhe lotët dhe këmbët e mia nga rrëzimi.
9 I will walk to and fro before Yahweh, in the lands of life.
Unë do të eci në prani të Zotit në tokën e të gjallëve.
10 I believed that I should speak, I, was greatly depressed.
Unë kam besuar dhe prandaj flas. Unë isha shumë i pikëlluar,
11 I, said in mine alarm, All men, are false!
dhe thoja gjatë përhumbjes sime: “Çdo njeri është gënjeshtar”.
12 How shall I give back to Yahweh, All his benefits unto me?
Ç’do t’i jap Zotit në këmbim të të gjitha të mirave që më ka bërë?
13 The cup of salvation, will I lift, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
Unë do të ngre kupën e shpëtimit dhe do të thërres emrin e Zotit.
14 My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in presence of all his people!
Do të plotësoj zotimet e mia ndaj Zotit në prani të të gjithë popullit të tij.
15 Costly in the eyes of Yahweh, is, death, for his men of lovingkindness.
Éshtë e çmueshme në sytë e Zotit vdekja e të shenjtëve të tij.
16 I beseech thee, O Yahweh—for, I, am thy servant, —I, am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid, Thou hast loosened my bonds.
Unë jam me të vërtetë shërbëtori yt, o Zot, jam shërbëtori yt, bir i shërbëtores sate; ti i këpute lidhjet e mia.
17 To thee, will I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
Unë do të të ofroj një flijim falenderimi dhe do të përmend emrin e Zotit.
18 My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in the presence of all his people; —
Do t’i plotësoj zotimet e mia Zotit në prani të të gjithë popullit të tij,
19 In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yah!
në oborret e shtëpisë së Zotit, në mesin tënd, o Jeruzalem. Aleluja.
