< Psalms 1 >

1 How happy the man, who hath not walked in the counsel of the lawless, —and, in the way of sinners, hath not stood, and, in the seat of scoffers, hath not sat;
Kasakkung: Panuekhoeh Tamikathoutnaw e khokhangnae koe ka cet hoeh e tami, tamikayonnaw e lamthung dawk kangdout hoeh e tami, kadudamnaw e kamkhuengnae koe hai ka tahung hoeh e tami,
2 But, in the law of Yahweh, is his delight, —and, in his law, doth he talk with himself day and night.
BAWIPA e lawk ka ngâi niteh, a kâlawknaw hah karum khodai luepluep ka pouk e tami teh a yawhawi.
3 So doth he become like a tree planted by streams of waters, —that yieldeth, its fruit, in its season, whose leaf, also doth not wither, and, whatsoever he doeth, prospereth.
Ahni teh tui teng vah ung e, a tue a pha torei ka paw niteh, a hna hai kamyai hoeh e thingkung hoi a kâvan. A tawksak e naw dawk hawinae a hmu han.
4 Not so, the lawless, —but as chaff which is driven about by the wind:
Tamikathoutnaw teh, hottelah laipalah, kahlî ni a palek e cahik hoi a kâvan awh.
5 For this cause, shall the lawless not stand in the judgment, —nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
Hatdawkvah, tamikathoutnaw teh, lawkcengnae hnin navah kangdout thai awh mahoeh. Tamikayonnaw hai tami kalannaw e kamkhuengnae dawk bawk thai mahoeh.
6 For Yahweh doth acknowledge the way of the righteous; but, the way of the lawless, shall vanish.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, BAWIPA ni tami kalannaw e lamthung teh a panue. Tamikathoutnaw e lamthung teh rawknae koe a pha han.
