Numbers 9

1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses in the desert of Sinai, in the second year by their coming forth out of the land of Egypt in the first month, saying:

౧యెహోవా సీనాయి అరణ్యంలో మోషేతో మాట్లాడాడు. ఇది వారు ఐగుప్తు దేశం నుండి బయటకు వచ్చిన రెండో సంవత్సరం మొదటి నెలలో జరిగింది. ఆయన ఇలా చెప్పాడు.

2 Let the sons of Israel therefore, keep the passover in its appointed season:

౨“ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు పస్కా పండగను దానికి నిర్ధారించిన తేదీల్లో ఆచరించాలి.

3 on the fourteenth day of this month between the two evenings, shall ye keep it, in its appointed season, —according to all the statute thereof and according to all the regulations thereof, shall ye keep it.

౩దాన్ని నిర్ధారించిన కాలం ఈ నెల పద్నాలుగో రోజు. ఆ రోజు సాయంత్రం మీరు పస్కా జరుపుకోవాలి. దాన్ని ఆచరించాలి. దానికి సంబంధించిన నియమాలను, ఆదేశాలను తప్పక పాటించాలి.”

4 Then spake Moses unto the sons of Israel that they should keep the passover.

౪కాబట్టి మోషే పస్కా పండగను ఆచరించాలని ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకి చెప్పాడు.

5 So they kept the passover in the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month between the two evenings, in the desert of Sinai, —according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so, did the sons of Israel.

౫దాంతో సీనాయి అరణ్యంలో ఆ మొదటి నెలలో పద్నాలుగో రోజు సాయంత్రం వారు పస్కా ఆచరించారు. యెహోవా మోషేకి ఆజ్ఞాపించిన వాటికి ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు విధేయులయ్యారు.

6 But so it was that there were, certain men who had become unclean by a dead person, and could not keep the passover on that day, —therefore came they near before Moses and before Aaron on that day.

౬కొంతమంది చనిపోయిన వ్యక్తి శరీరాన్ని తాకి అపవిత్రులయ్యారు. కాబట్టి ఆ రోజు వారు పస్కా ఆచరించలేక పోయారు.

7 Then said those men unto him, We, are unclean by a dead person, —wherefore should we become of less esteem for want of offering the oblation of Yahweh in its appointed season, in the midst of the sons of Israel?

౭ఆ వ్యక్తులు మోషే దగ్గరకి వచ్చి “మేము చనిపోయిన వ్యక్తి కారణంగానే కదా అపవిత్రులమయ్యాం. ఈ సంవత్సరంలో నిర్ధారించిన రోజున యెహోవాకు బలి అర్పించకుండా మమ్మల్ని ఎందుకు దూరం చేస్తున్నారు?” అని అడిగారు.

8 And Moses said unto them, —Stay, and let me hear, what Yahweh shall command concerning you!

౮దానికి మోషే “కాస్త ఆగండి. మీ గురించి యెహోవా ఏం చెబుతాడో విందాం.” అని జవాబిచ్చాడు.

9 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

౯అప్పుడు యెహోవా మోషేతో మాట్లాడాడు. ఆయన ఇలా చెప్పాడు.

10 Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, —Though, any man, be unclean by a dead person or be on a journey afar off, whether in the case of yourselves or of your generations, yet shall he keep a passover unto Yahweh.

౧౦“నువ్వు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకి ఇలా చెప్పు. ‘మీలో ఎవరైనా లేదా మీ సంతానంలో ఎవరైనా శవాన్ని తాకి అపవిత్రుడైనా, లేదా దూర ప్రయాణంలో ఉన్నా ఆ వ్యక్తి పస్కాను ఆచరించ వచ్చు.’

11 In the second month, on the fourteenth day between the two evenings, shall they keep it, —with unleavened cakes and bitter herbs, shall they eat it.

౧౧వారు రెండో నెల పద్నాలుగో రోజున సాయంత్రం పస్కా ఆచరించాలి. పొంగజేసే పదార్ధం లేకుండా చేసిన రొట్టెలు, చేదు ఆకు కూరలతో తినాలి.

12 They shall not leave thereof until morning, and no bone, shall they break therein—according to all the statutes of the passover, shall they keep it.

౧౨మర్నాటి ఉదయానికి దానిలో దేన్నీ మిగల్చకూడదు. దాని ఎముకల్లో దేన్నీ విరగ్గొట్టకూడదు. పస్కాకి సంబంధించిన నియమాలన్నిటినీ వారు పాటించాలి.

13 But as for the man who is, clean, and no a journey, doth not chance to be and yet faileth to keep the passover, that person shall he cut off from among his kinsfolk, —for the oblation of Yahweh, hath he not offered in its appointed season, his own sin, shall, that man, bear.

౧౩అయితే పవిత్రంగా ఉండీ, ప్రయాణమేదీ చేయని వాడు ఒకవేళ పస్కాను ఆచరించకపోతే ఆ వ్యక్తిని సమాజంలో లేకుండా చేయాలి. ఎందుకంటే ఆ వ్యక్తి సంవత్సరంలో నిర్ధారించిన రోజున యెహోవాకు అవసరమైన బలి అర్పణ అర్పించలేదు. ఆ వ్యక్తి తన పాపాన్ని భరించాల్సిందే.

14 When moreover there may sojourn with you a sojourner, who would keep a passover unto Yahweh, according to the statute of the passover, and according to the regulation thereof, so, must he keep [it], —one statute, shall there be for you, both for the sojourner and for the native of the land.

౧౪మీ మధ్య నివసించే విదేశీయుడు ఎవరైనా యెహోవా గౌరవం కోసం పస్కాని ఆచరించాలనుకుంటే అతడు ఆయన ఆదేశాలను అనుసరించాలి. నియమాలను అనుసరించే పస్కా ఆచరించాలి. పస్కా అనుసరించే విషయంలో మీ దేశంలో పుట్టిన వాడికీ మీ మధ్య నివసించే విదేశీయుడికీ ఒకే విధానం ఉండాలి.”

15 Now, on the day the habitation was reared, the cloud covered the habitation, even the tent of the testimony, —and in the evening, it was over the habitation, like an appearance of fire, until morning,

౧౫మందిరాన్ని నిలబెట్టిన రోజున మేఘం నిబంధన శాసనాల గుడారాన్ని కమ్ముకుంది. సాయంత్రానికి మేఘం మందిరం పైగా కనిపించింది. అది మర్నాటి ఉదయం వరకూ అగ్నిలా కనిపించింది.

16 Thus, came it to pass continually, the cloud, covered it, —and an appearance of fire, by night;

౧౬అది ఎల్లప్పుడూ అలాగే కనిపించింది. మేఘం మందిరాన్ని కమ్మి రాత్రిలో అగ్నిలా కనిపించింది.

17 but at the bidding of the upgoings of the cloud from off the tent, then, after that, the sons of Israel set forward, —and in the place where the cloud abode, there the sons of Israel encamped:

౧౭గుడారం పైనుండి ఆ మేఘం పైకి వెళ్ళిపోయినప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు ప్రయాణం సాగించేవారు. ఆ మేఘం ఆగినప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు నిలిచి గుడారాలు వేసుకునేవారు.

18 at the bidding of Yahweh, the sons of Israel set forward, and at the bidding of Yahweh, they encamped, —all the days that the cloud abode upon the habitation, they remained encamped.

౧౮యెహోవా ఆదేశాల ప్రకారం ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు ప్రయాణం సాగించారు. ఆయన ఆదేశాల ప్రకారం గుడారాలు వేసుకుని నిలిచి పోయారు. మందిరం పైన మేఘం నిలిచినప్పుడు తమ శిబిరంలో ఉండే వారు.

19 And when the cloud lengthened out its stay upon the habitation, many days, then would the sons of Israel keep the watch of Yahweh, and would not set forward.

౧౯ఆ మేఘం ఒకవేళ ఎక్కువ రోజులు మందిరం పైన ఉండిపోతే యెహోవా ఆదేశాలను బట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు ప్రయాణం చేసేవారు కాదు.

20 And, so it was, when the cloud would be a few days upon the habitation, at the bidding of Yahweh, they remained encamped, and at the bidding of Yahweh, they set forward.

౨౦కొన్నిసార్లు మేఘం కొన్ని రోజులు మాత్రమే మందిరం పైన నిలిచి ఉంటే వారు కూడా నిలిచిపోయే వారు. యెహోవా ఆదేశాల మేరకు గుడారాలు వేసుకుని తిరిగి ఆయన ఆదేశాల ప్రకారం ప్రయాణమయ్యే వారు.

21 And, so it was, when the cloud would be from evening until morning, as soon as the cloud went up in the morning, so soon did they set forward: whether by day or by night, as soon as the cloud went up, so soon did they set forward.

౨౧కొన్నిసార్లు మేఘం సాయంత్రం నుండి మర్నాటి ఉదయం వరకూ ఉండేది. అప్పుడు ఉదయం మేఘం వెళ్ళగానే ప్రయాణం మొదలు పెట్టేవారు. ఒకవేళ మేఘం ఒక పగలూ ఒక రాత్రీ ఉంటే ఆ మేఘం వెళ్ళిన తరువాత మాత్రమే ప్రయాణం చేసేవారు.

22 Whether for two days or a month or a year, the cloud lengthened out its stay upon the habitation abiding thereupon, the sons of Israel remained encamped and set not forward, —but at the upgoings thereof, they set forward.

౨౨ఆ మేఘం రెండు రోజులు గానీ, ఒక నెల గానీ, లేదా ఒక సంవత్సరం గానీ మందిరం పైన నిలిచి పొతే ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు ప్రయాణం చేయకుండా తమ గుడారాల్లో ఉండి పోయారు. ఆ మేఘం వెళ్లి పోయిన తరువాత మాత్రమే ప్రయాణం చేశారు.

23 At the bidding of Yahweh, they encamped, and at the bidding of Yahweh, they set forward, —the watch of Yahweh, they kept, at the bidding of Yahweh by the hand of Moses.

౨౩యెహోవా ఆదేశాలకు విధేయులై వారు తమ గుడారాలు వేసుకున్నారు. యెహోవా ఆదేశాలకు విధేయులై ప్రయాణం చేశారు. యెహోవా మోషే ద్వారా తమకిచ్చిన ఆదేశాలకు వారు విధేయులయ్యారు.
