Numbers 4
1 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses and unto Aaron saying:
Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν και προς τον Ααρών, λέγων,
2 Reckon up the sum of the sons of Kohath, out of the midst of the sons of Levi, —by their families by their ancestral house:
Λάβε το κεφάλαιον των υιών Καάθ εκ μέσου των υιών Λευΐ, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών,
3 from thirty years old, and upwards, even unto fifty years, —every one that can enter into the host, to do service in the tent of meeting.
από τριάκοντα ετών και επάνω έως πεντήκοντα ετών, πάντων των εισερχομένων εις το τάγμα διά να κάμνωσιν εργασίας εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου.
4 This, shall be the labour of the sons of Kohath, in the tent of meeting, —the most holy things,
Αύτη θέλει είσθαι η υπηρεσία των υιών Καάθ εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου· τα άγια των αγίων.
5 So then Aaron and his sons shall enter when the camp is to set forward, and take down the screening veil, —and enwrap therein the ark of the testimony;
Και όταν σηκόνηται το στρατόπεδον, θέλουσιν έρχεσθαι ο Ααρών και οι υιοί αυτού και θέλουσι καταβιβάσει το καλυπτήριον καταπέτασμα και θέλουσι σκεπάζει δι' αυτού την κιβωτόν του μαρτυρίου·
6 and put thereon a covering of badgers’ skin, and spread a complete wrapper of blue over above, —and put in the staves thereof.
και θέλουσι βάλει επ' αυτήν κάλυμμα εκ δερμάτων θώων και επάνωθεν θέλουσιν εφαπλώσει ύφασμα όλον κυανούν και θέλουσι διαπεράσει τους μοχλούς αυτής.
7 And over the Presence-table, shall they spread a wrapper of blue and put thereon the dishes and the pans and the bowls and the libation cups, the perpetual bread also, thereupon, shall remain;
Και επί της τραπέζης της προθέσεως θέλουσιν εφαπλώσει ύφασμα όλον κυανούν και θέλουσι βάλει επ' αυτήν τους δίσκους, και τα θυμιαματοδόχα, και τα λεκάνια, και τα σπονδεία, διά να σπένδωσι· και οι παντοτεινοί άρτοι θέλουσιν είσθαι επ' αυτής·
8 and they shall spread over them a wrapper of crimson, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skin, —and shall put in the staves thereof.
και θέλουσιν εφαπλώσει επ' αυτά ύφασμα κόκκινον και τούτο θέλουσι σκεπάσει διά καλύμματος εκ δερμάτων θώων και θέλουσι διαπεράσει τους μοχλούς αυτής.
9 Then shall they take a wrapper of blue, and cover the light-giving lampstand, and the lamps thereof, and the snuffers thereof and the snuff-trays thereof, —and all the oil-vessels, thereof, wherewith they minister thereunto;
Και θέλουσι λάβει ύφασμα κυανούν, και θέλουσι περισκεπάσει την λυχνίαν του φωτός, και τους λύχνους αυτής, και τα λυχνοψάλιδα αυτής, και τα υποθέματα αυτής, και πάντα τα ελαιοδόχα αγγεία αυτής, διά των οποίων εκτελούσι τας υπηρεσίας αυτής·
10 and shall put the same and all the vessels thereof, within a covering of, badgers’ skin, —and shall put it upon a frame.
και θέλουσι θέσει αυτήν μετά πάντων των σκευών αυτής εντός καλύμματος εκ δερμάτων θώων και θέλουσιν επιθέσει αυτήν επί τους μοχλούς.
11 And upon the altar of gold, shall they spread a wrapper of blue, and shall cover the same in a covering of badgers’ skin, —and shall put in the staves thereof,
Επί δε το θυσιαστήριον το χρυσούν θέλουσιν εφαπλώσει ύφασμα κυανούν και τούτο θέλουσι σκεπάσει διά καλύμματος εκ δερμάτων θώων και θέλουσι διαπεράσει τους μοχλούς αυτού.
12 And they shall take all the utensils of attendance wherewith they attend in the sanctuary, and put them within a wrapper of blue, and cover the same in a covering of badgers’ skin, —and put them on a frame.
και θέλουσι λάβει πάντα τα σκεύη της υπηρεσίας, διά των οποίων υπηρετούσιν εις τα άγια, και βάλει εις ύφασμα κυανούν και θέλουσι σκεπάσει αυτά διά καλύμματος εκ δερμάτων θώων και επιθέσει εις μοχλούς.
13 Then shall they remove the fat-ashes from the altar, —and spread over it a wrapper of purple;
Και θέλουσι καθαρίσει το θυσιαστήριον από της στάκτης, και θέλουσι περισκεπάσει αυτό διά υφάσματος πορφυρού·
14 and put thereupon all the utensils thereof wherewith they minister thereupon—the fire-pans, the flesh-hooks—and the shovels and the tossing-bowls, all the utensils of the altar, —and shall spread over it a covering of badgers’ skin and put in the staves thereof.
και θέλουσι βάλει επ' αυτό πάντα τα σκεύη αυτού, διά των οποίων εκτελούσι τας υπηρεσίας αυτού, τα θυμιατήρια, τας κρεάγρας, και τα πτυάρια, και τας λεκάνας· πάντα τα σκεύη του θυσιαστηρίου, και θέλουσιν εφαπλώσει επ' αυτό κάλυμμα εκ δερμάτων θώων και διαπεράσει τους μοχλούς αυτού.
15 So shall Aaron and his sons make an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the utensils of the sanctuary, when the camp is to set forward, then after that, shall the sons of Kohath enter to bear it, but they must not put forth a touch unto that which, is holy, else should they die, these, shall be the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting.
Και αφού τελειώσωσιν ο Ααρών και οι υιοί αυτού να περισκεπάζωσι τα άγια και πάντα τα σκεύη τα άγια, όταν μέλλη να σηκωθή το στρατόπεδον, τότε θέλουσι πλησιάσει οι υιοί του Καάθ διά να βαστάσωσιν αυτά· και δεν θέλουσιν εγγίσει τα άγια, διά να μη αποθάνωσι· ταύτα είναι τα όσα θέλουσι βαστάζει οι υιοί του Καάθ εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου.
16 But the care of Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, [shall be] —the light-giving oil, and the fragrant incense, and the perpetual meal-offering, and the anointing oil, the care of all the habitation, and all that is therein, both as to the sanctuary, and as to the furniture thereof.
Και η επιστασία του Ελεάζαρ υιού του Ααρών του ιερέως θέλει είσθαι το έλαιον του φωτός, και το ευώδες θυμίαμα, και η καθημερινή εξ αλφίτων προσφορά, και το έλαιον του χρίσματος, η επιστασία πάσης της σκηνής, και πάντων των εν αυτή, του αγιαστηρίου, και πάντων των σκευών αυτού.
17 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying:
Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν και προς τον Ααρών, λέγων,
18 Do not let the tribe of the families of the Kohathites be cut off out of the midst of the Levites.
Μη εξολοθρεύσητε την φυλήν των συγγενειών των Κααθιτών εκ μέσου των Λευϊτών·
19 This, therefore, do ye for them, so shall they live and not die when they approach the most holy place, —Aaron and his sons shall enter and set them man by man over his labour, and unto his burden;
αλλά τούτο κάμετε εις αυτούς, διά να ζήσωσι και μη αποθάνωσι προσεγγίζοντες εις τα άγια των αγίων· ο Ααρών και οι υιοί αυτού ας εισέρχωνται και ας διορίζωσιν αυτούς έκαστον εις το έργον αυτού και εις το φορτίον αυτού·
20 but they shall not enter to see, for a moment, that which is holy, else should they die.
ας μη εισέρχωνται όμως να ίδωσιν, όταν περισκεπάζωνται τα άγια, διά να μη αποθάνωσι.
21 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,
22 reckon up the sum of the sons of Gershon even of them also, —by their ancestral house by their families;
Λάβε το κεφάλαιον και των υιών Γηρσών, κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών·
23 from thirty years old and upwards even to fifty years, shalt thou number them, —All that may enter to take rank in the host, to do laborious work in the tent of meeting.
από τριάκοντα ετών και επάνω έως πεντήκοντα ετών θέλεις απαριθμήσει αυτούς, πάντας τους εισερχομένους εις το τάγμα, διά να κάμνωσιν εργασίας εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου.
24 This, shall be the labour of the families of the Gershonites, —in labouring and in bearing:
Αύτη είναι η υπηρεσία των συγγενειών των Γηρσωνιτών, να υπηρετώσι και να βαστάζωσι·
25 they shall bear the curtains of the habitation and the tent of meeting, the covering thereof and the covering of badgers’ skin which is over above it, —and the screen, at the entrance of the tent of meeting;
θέλουσι λοιπόν βαστάζει τα παραπετάσματα της σκηνής και την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου, το κάλυμμα αυτής και το κάλυμμα το εκ δερμάτων θώων το επάνωθεν αυτής και το καταπέτασμα της θύρας της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου,
26 and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the entrance of the gate of the court which is near the habitation and near the altar round about, and their cords, and all their articles of service, and all that is to be done to them when they shall do their labour,
και τα παραπετάσματα της αυλής και το καταπέτασμα της θύρας της πύλης της αυλής, τα οποία είναι διά την σκηνήν, και διά το θυσιαστήριον κύκλω, και τα σχοινία αυτών και πάντα τα σκεύη της υπηρεσίας αυτών και πάντα τα χρησιμεύοντα εις αυτά· ούτω θέλουσιν υπηρετεί.
27 At the bidding of Aaron and his sons, shall be all the labour of the sons of the Gershonites, to the extent of their every burden, and to the extent of all their labour, —so shall ye appoint unto them in charge their every burden.
Κατά προσταγήν του Ααρών και των υιών αυτού θέλουσι γίνεσθαι πάσαι αι υπηρεσίαι των υιών των Γηρσωνιτών, εις πάντα τα φορτία αυτών και εις πάσας τας υπηρεσίας αυτών· και σεις θέλετε διορίζει εις αυτούς πάντα όσα οφείλουσι να βαστάζωσιν.
28 This, shall be the labour of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting, —and, the charge of them, shall be in the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.
Αύτη είναι η υπηρεσία των συγγενειών των υιών των Γηρσωνιτών εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου· και η φυλακή αυτών θέλει είσθαι υπό την επιστασίαν του Ιθάμαρ υιού του Ααρών του ιερέως.
29 As for the sons of Merari, —by their families by their ancestral house, shall ye number them;
Θέλεις απαριθμήσει και τους υιούς του Μεραρί κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών·
30 from thirty years old and upwards even to fifty years, shall ye number them, —all that enter into the host, to do laborious work in the tent of meeting,
από τριάκοντα ετών και επάνω έως πεντήκοντα ετών θέλεις απαριθμήσει αυτούς πάντας τους εισερχομένους εις το τάγμα, διά να κάμνωσιν εργασίας εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου.
31 And, this, shall be their charge of the burdens, to the extent of all their labour in the tent of meeting, the boards of the habitation, and the bars thereof and he pillars thereof and the sockets thereof:
Και ταύτα είναι, τα οποία οφείλουσι να βαστάζωσι καθ' όλην την υπηρεσίαν αυτών εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου· αι σανίδες της σκηνής και οι μοχλοί αυτής και οι στύλοι αυτής, και τα υποβάσια αυτής,
32 and the pillars of the court round about and their sockets and their pins and their cords, to the extent of all their articles, to the extent of all their labour, and by names, shall ye put under their care the articles of their charge of burdens.
και οι στύλοι της αυλής κύκλω και τα υποβάσια αυτών και οι πάσσαλοι αυτών και τα σχοινία αυτών, μετά πάντων των σκευών αυτών και πάντα τα προς υπηρεσίαν αυτών· και θέλετε διορίσει κατ όνομα τα σκεύη τα οποία οφείλουσι να βαστάζωσιν.
33 This, shall be the labour of the families of the sons of Merari, to the extent of all their labour in the tent of meeting, —in the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron, the priest.
Αύτη είναι η υπηρεσία των συγγενειών των υιών Μεραρί, καθ' όλην την υπηρεσίαν αυτών εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου, υπό την επιστασίαν του Ιθάμαρ υιού του Ααρών του ιερέως.
34 Then did Moses and Aaron, and the princes of the assembly, number the sons of the Kohathites, by their families, and by their ancestral house;
Ο Μωϋσής λοιπόν και ο Ααρών και οι άρχοντες της συναγωγής απηρίθμησαν τους υιούς των Κααθιτών κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών και κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών,
35 from thirty years old and upwards, even unto fifty years old, all that might enter the host, to labour in the tent of meeting;
από τριάκοντα ετών και επάνω έως πεντήκοντα ετών, πάντας τους εισερχομένους εις το τάγμα, διά να κάμνωσιν εργασίας εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου·
36 and they who were numbered of them, by their families, were found to be two thousand, seven hundred and fifty.
και οι απαριθμηθέντες αυτών κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν δύο χιλιάδες επτακόσιοι πεντήκοντα.
37 These, were they who were num-bered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might labour in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron did number, at the bidding of Yahweh by the mediation of Moses.
Ούτοι είναι οι απαριθμηθέντες των συγγενειών των Κααθιτών, πάντες οι υπηρετούντες εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου, τους οποίους απηρίθμησαν ο Μωϋσής και ο Ααρών, καθώς προσέταξε Κύριος διά χειρός του Μωϋσέως.
38 And they who were numbered of the sons of Gershon, —by their families, and by their ancestral house;
Οι δε απαριθμηθέντες των υιών Γηρσών κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών και κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών,
39 from thirty years old and upwards, even to fifty years old, all that might enter the host, to labour in the tent of meeting:
από τριάκοντα ετών και επάνω έως πεντήκοντα ετών, πάντες οι εισερχόμενοι εις το τάγμα διά να κάμνωσιν εργασίας εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου,
40 yea they who were numbered of them, by their families, by their ancestral house, —were found to be—two thousand, and six hundred, and thirty.
οι απαριθμηθέντες αυτών κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών, ήσαν δύο χιλιάδες εξακόσιοι τριάκοντα.
41 These, are they who were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who might labour in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron did number, at the bidding of Yahweh.
Ούτοι είναι οι απαριθμηθέντες των συγγενειών των υιών Γηρσών, πάντες οι υπηρετούντες εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου, τους οποίους απηρίθμησαν ο Μωϋσής και ο Ααρών κατά την προσταγήν του Κυρίου.
42 And they who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families by their ancestral house;
Οι δε απαριθμηθέντες των συγγενειών των υιών Μεραρί κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών, κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών,
43 from thirty years old and upwards, even unto fifty years old, —all that might enter the host to labour in the tent of meeting;
από τριάκοντα ετών και επάνω έως πεντήκοντα ετών, πάντες οι εισερχόμενοι εις το τάγμα διά να κάμνωσιν εργασίας εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου,
44 yea they who were numbered of them, by their families, were found to be—three thousand and two hundred.
οι απαριθμηθέντες αυτών κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν τρεις χιλιάδες και διακόσιοι.
45 These, are they who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, —whom Moses and Aaron did number, at the bidding of Yahweh, by the mediation of Moses.
Ούτοι είναι οι απαριθμηθέντες των συγγενειών των υιών Μεραρί, τους οποίους απηρίθμησαν ο Μωϋσής και ο Ααρών, καθώς προσέταξε Κύριος διά χειρός του Μωϋσέως.
46 All they who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel did number, even the Levites, by their families and by their ancestral house;
Πάντες οι απαριθμηθέντες των Λευϊτών, τους οποίους απηρίθμησαν ο Μωϋσής και ο Ααρών και οι άρχοντες του Ισραήλ, κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών και κατά τους οίκους των πατέρων αυτών,
47 from thirty years old and upwards, even unto fifty years old, all that might enter, to toil in the work of labouring and in the work of bearing burdens, in the tent of meeting,
από τριάκοντα ετών και επάνω έως πεντήκοντα ετών, πάντες οι εισερχόμενοι διά να υπηρετώσιν υπηρεσίαν και να βαστάζωσι το φορτίον εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου,
48 yea, they who were numbered of them were found to be—eight thousand, and five hundred, and eighty.
οι απαριθμηθέντες αυτών ήσαν οκτώ χιλιάδες πεντακόσιοι ογδοήκοντα.
49 At the bidding of Yahweh, were they put in charge by the mediation of Moses, man by man, over his labour and over his burden, —yea, they who were put in charge by him, were they, whom Yahweh commanded Moses.
Απηριθμήθησαν καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος διά χειρός του Μωϋσέως, έκαστος κατά την υπηρεσίαν αυτού και κατά το φορτίον αυτού. Ούτως απηριθμήθησαν υπ' αυτού, καθώς προσέταξε Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.
