Mark 10
1 And, from thence, arising, he cometh into the bounds of Judaea and beyond the Jordan, —and there come together again, multitudes unto him, and, as he had been wont, again, was he teaching them.
౧యేసు ఆ ప్రాంతం విడిచి యూదయ ప్రాంతానికి వెళ్ళాడు. ఆ తరువాత యొర్దాను నదికి అవతల ఉన్న ప్రాంతానికి వెళ్ళాడు. మళ్ళీ ప్రజలు గుంపులు గుంపులుగా ఆయన దగ్గరికి వచ్చారు. ఎప్పటిలాగే యేసు వారికి ఉపదేశం చేశాడు.
2 And Pharisees coming near were questioning him—whether it is allowed a husband to divorce a wife, testing him.
౨కొందరు పరిసయ్యులు ఆయనను పరీక్షించే ఉద్దేశంతో, “ఒక పురుషుడు తన భార్యకు విడాకులు ఇవ్వడం ధర్మమేనా?” అని అడిగారు.
3 But, he, answering, said unto them—What unto you did, Moses, command?
౩యేసు, “మోషే మీకు ఏమని ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు?” అని అడిగాడు.
4 And, they, said—Moses permitted, to write, a roll of dismissal, and to divorce.
౪వారు, “విడాకుల పత్రం రాసిచ్చి భార్యతో తెగతెంపులు చేసుకోవడానికి మోషే అనుమతి ఇచ్చాడు” అన్నారు.
5 But, Jesus, said unto them—In view of your hardness of heart, wrote he for you this commandment;
౫యేసు, “మీరు దేవునికి లోబడని వారు, కాబట్టి మోషే ఆ విధంగా ఆదేశించాడు.
6 But, from the beginning of creation, male and female, made he [them];
౬కాని, సృష్టి ఆరంభం నుండి దేవుడు వారిని స్త్రీ పురుషులుగా సృజించాడు.
7 For this cause, shall a man leave behind his father and mother,
౭అందుకే పురుషుడు తన తల్లిదండ్రులను విడిచి తన భార్యతో కలిసి జీవిస్తాడు.
8 and, the two, shall become, one flesh; so that, no longer, are they two, but, one flesh.
౮వారిద్దరు ఐక్యమై ఒకే శరీరంగా మారిపోతారు. కాబట్టి అప్పటి నుంచి వారు ఇద్దరు కాకుండా ఒకరిలా జీవిస్తారు.
9 What then, God, hath yoked together, let, a man, not put asunder.
౯కాబట్టి దేవుడు కలిపిన వారిని ఏ మనిషీ వేరు చేయకూడదు” అని వారితో చెప్పాడు.
10 And, [coming] into the house again, the disciples, concerning this, were questioning him;
౧౦అందరూ ఇంట్లోకి వచ్చాక శిష్యులు యేసును ఈ సంగతి గురించి వివరంగా చెప్పమని కోరారు.
11 and he saith unto them—Whosoever shall divorce his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her;
౧౧యేసు, “తన భార్యకు విడాకులిచ్చి మరొక స్త్రీని పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్నవాడు తన భార్యకు వ్యతిరేకంగా వ్యభిచారం చేస్తున్నట్టే.
12 And, if, she, divorcing her husband, marry another, she committeth adultery.
౧౨అదే విధంగా తన భర్తకు విడాకులిచ్చి మరొక పురుషుణ్ణి పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్న స్త్రీని వ్యభిచారిణిగా పరిగణించాలి” అని వారితో అన్నాడు.
13 And they were bringing unto him children, that he might, touch, them, —the disciples, however, were rebuking them.
౧౩యేసు తమ చిన్న బిడ్డలను తాకాలని కొంతమంది వారిని తీసుకు వచ్చారు గాని, శిష్యులు వారిని అడ్డుకున్నారు.
14 But Jesus, seeing it, was greatly displeased, and said unto them—Suffer the children to come unto me, —do not hinder them; for, of such, is the kingdom of God.
౧౪ఇది చూసి యేసుకు చాలా బాధ కలిగింది. ఆయన శిష్యులతో, “చిన్న బిడ్డలను నా దగ్గరికి రానివ్వండి. వారిని ఆపకండి. దేవుని రాజ్యం చిన్నపిల్లల్లాంటి వారిదే.
15 Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall not welcome the kingdom of God, as a child, in nowise shall enter thereinto.
౧౫మీతో కచ్చితంగా చెప్పేదేమంటే, చిన్న పిల్లల్లాగా దేవుని రాజ్యాన్ని స్వీకరించని వారు అందులో ఎన్నడూ ప్రవేశించరు” అన్నాడు.
16 And, folding them in his arms, he was blessing them, having laid his hands upon them.
౧౬ఆయన ఆ చిన్నపిల్లలను దగ్గరికి పిలిచి వారిపై చేతులుంచి వారిని దీవించాడు.
17 And, as he was going forth into a road, one, running, and kneeling before him, was questioning him—Good Teacher! what shall I do that, life age—abiding, I may inherit? (aiōnios g166)
౧౭ఆయన బయలుదేరుతుండగా ఒక వ్యక్తి పరుగెత్తుకుంటూ వచ్చి ఆయన ముందు మోకరిల్లి, “మంచి బోధకుడా, శాశ్వత జీవానికి వారసుణ్ణి కావడానికి నేనేం చెయ్యాలి?” అని ఆయనను అడిగాడు. (aiōnios g166)
18 And, Jesus, said unto him—Why callest thou me, good? None, is good, save one—God.
౧౮యేసు, “నేను మంచి వాడినని ఎందుకు అంటున్నావు? దేవుడు తప్ప మంచివాడు ఎవరూ లేరు.
19 The commandments, thou knowest, —Do not commit murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal; Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.
౧౯దేవుని ఆజ్ఞలు నీకు తెలుసు కదా! వ్యభిచారం చేయకూడదు, హత్య చేయకూడదు, దొంగతనం చేయకూడదు, అబద్ధ సాక్ష్యం చెప్పకూడదు, మోసం చేయకూడదు, తల్లిదండ్రులను గౌరవించాలి” అన్నాడు.
20 And, he, said unto him—Teacher! all these things, have I kept, from my youth.
౨౦అతడు ఆయనతో, “బోధకా, నా చిన్నతనం నుండి నేను వీటిని పాటిస్తున్నాను” అని అన్నాడు.
21 And, Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said unto him—One thing, unto thee, is wanting; —Withdraw! whatsoever thou hast, sell, and give unto [the] destitute, —and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come! be following me.
౨౧యేసు అతన్ని చూస్తూ, అతనిపై ప్రేమ భావం కలిగి ఇలా అన్నాడు, “నీకు ఒకటి తక్కువగా ఉంది. వెళ్ళి నీకున్నదంతా అమ్మి పేదవాళ్ళకు ఇవ్వు. అప్పుడు పరలోకంలో నీకు సంపద దొరుకుతుంది. ఆ తరువాత వచ్చి నన్ను అనుసరించు” అని అన్నాడు.
22 And, he, becoming gloomy because of the word, departed sorrowing, for he was holding, many possessions.
౨౨అతడు గొప్ప సంపన్నుడు గనక యేసు చెప్పిన ఆ మాటకు ముఖం చిన్నబుచ్చుకుని దుఃఖంతో అక్కడ నుండి వెళ్ళిపోయాడు.
23 And, looking around, Jesus saith unto his disciples—With what difficulty, shall, they who have money, enter, into the kingdom of God!
౨౩యేసు చుట్టూ చూసి తన శిష్యులతో, “ధనికుడు దేవుని రాజ్యంలో ప్రవేశించడం చాలా కష్టం” అని అన్నాడు.
24 And, the disciples, were in amazement, because of the words. But, Jesus, again answering, saith unto them—Children! how difficult, it is, to enter, into the kingdom of God!
౨౪ఆయన మాటలకు శిష్యులు ఎంతో ఆశ్చర్యపడ్డారు. యేసు మళ్ళీ, “పిల్లలారా, దేవుని రాజ్యంలో ప్రవేశించడం ఎంతో కష్టం!
25 It is, easier, for a camel, through the eye of a needle, to pass, than for, a rich man, into the kingdom of God, to enter.
౨౫ధనికుడు దేవుని రాజ్యంలో ప్రవేశించడం కన్నా ఒంటె సూది రంధ్రం ద్వారా వెళ్ళడం సులభం” అన్నాడు.
26 And, they, were being exceedingly struck with astonishment, saying unto him—Who, then, can, be saved?
౨౬ఇది విని శిష్యులు ఇంకా ఆశ్చర్యపడ్డారు. వారు “అలాగైతే ఎవరు రక్షణ పొందగలరు?” అంటూ తమలో తాము మాట్లాడుకున్నారు.
27 Looking at them, Jesus saith—With men, impossible, but not, with God; for, all things, are possible, with God
౨౭యేసు వారి వైపు చూసి, “మనుషులకు ఇది అసాధ్యమే గాని, దేవునికి కాదు. దేవునికి అన్నీ సాధ్యమే” అన్నాడు.
28 Peter began to be saying unto him—Lo! we, have left all, and followed thee!
౨౮పేతురు ఆయనతో, “ఇదిగో, మేము అన్నిటినీ విడిచిపెట్టి నిన్ను అనుసరించాం గదా!” అన్నాడు.
29 Jesus said—Verily, I say unto you—There is, no one, who hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me, and [for the sake of] the glad-message,
౨౯అందుకు యేసు, “మీతో కచ్చితంగా చెప్పేదేమంటే, నా కోసం, సువార్త కోసం, తన ఇంటిని, అన్నదమ్ములను, అక్కచెల్లెళ్ళను, తల్లిని, తండ్రిని, భార్యను, పిల్లలను, ఆస్తులను వదిలిపెట్టిన వాడు.
31 But, many, shall be—first-last, and [the] Last-first.
౩౧కాని, మొదటివారు చాలా మంది చివరివారు అవుతారు, చివరివారు చాలా మంది మొదటివారు అవుతారు” అన్నాడు.
32 Now they were in the way, going up unto Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on before them, —and they were in amazement; and, they who followed, were in fear. And, taking unto himself, again, the twelve, he began to be saying unto them, as to the things about to befall him—
౩౨యేసు, ఆయనతో ఉన్నవారంతా యెరూషలేము బయలుదేరారు. యేసు అందరికన్నా ముందు నడుస్తూ ఉన్నాడు. ఆయన శిష్యులకు ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగింది. ఆయనను అనుసరిస్తున్న ఇతరులు భయపడ్డారు. యేసు మళ్ళీ తన శిష్యులను పక్కకు పిలిచి, తనకు జరగబోయే వాటిని గురించి వారికి చెప్పాడు.
33 Lo! we are going up unto Jerusalem; and, the Son of Man, will be delivered up, unto the Chief-priests and the Scribes, —and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him up unto the nations;
౩౩ఆయన, “వినండి, మనం యెరూషలేము వెళ్తున్నాం. అక్కడ మనుష్య కుమారుణ్ణి ప్రధాన యాజకులకు, ధర్మశాస్త్ర పండితులకు అప్పగిస్తారు. వారు ఆయనకు మరణశిక్ష విధించి, యూదేతర ప్రజలకు అప్పగిస్తారు.
34 And they will mock him, and spit upon him, and scourge him, and, slay; —and, after three days, will he, arise.
౩౪వారు ఆయనను హేళన చేసి, ఆయన మీద ఉమ్మివేస్తారు. కొరడా దెబ్బలు కొడతారు, ఆ తరువాత చంపేస్తారు. మూడవ రోజున ఆయన మళ్ళీ సజీవంగా లేస్తాడు” అని వారితో చెప్పాడు.
35 And there come near unto him, James and John, the [two] sons of Zebedee, —saying unto him—Teacher! we desire, that, whatsoever we shall ask thee, thou wilt do for us.
౩౫జెబెదయి కుమారులు యాకోబు, యోహాను ఆయన దగ్గరికి వచ్చి, “బోధకా! మేము అడిగింది మాకు అనుగ్రహిస్తావా?” అని అడిగారు.
36 But, he, said unto them—What desire ye, I should do for you?
౩౬ఆయన, “నేనేం చెయ్యాలని మీరు కోరుతున్నారు?” అని ప్రశ్నించాడు.
37 And, they, said unto him—Grant us, that, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left, we may sit, in thy glory.
౩౭వారు, “నీవు మహిమలో మాలో ఒకరిని నీ కుడిచేతి వైపు, మరొకరిని ఎడమచేతి వైపు కూర్చోబెట్టుకో” అన్నారు.
38 But, Jesus, said unto them—Ye know not what ye are asking: Are ye able to drink the cup that, I, am to drink? or to be immersed, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed?
౩౮యేసు, “మీరు ఏమి అడుగుతున్నారో మీకు తెలియదు. నేను తాగిన దాన్ని మీరు తాగగలరా? నేను పొందే బాప్తిసం మీరు పొందగలరా?” అని అడిగాడు.
39 And, they, said unto him—We are able. And, Jesus, said unto them—The cup which, I, am to drink, ye shall drink, and, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed, shall ye be immersed;
౩౯వారు, “పొందగలం” అని జవాబు చెప్పారు. యేసు వారితో, “నేను తాగిన దాన్ని మీరు తాగుతారు, నేను పొందిన బాప్తిసం మీరు పొందుతారు.
40 But, to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, except unto them for whom it hath been prepared.
౪౦కాని, నా కుడి వైపు, నా ఎడమవైపు కూర్చోడానికి అనుమతించేది నేను కాదు. ఆ స్థానాలు ఎవరి కోసం సిద్ధం చేసి ఉన్నాయో వారికే అవి దొరుకుతాయి” అన్నాడు.
41 And the ten, hearing, began to be sorely displeased, concerning James and John.
౪౧ఇది విని మిగతా పదిమందికి యాకోబు, యోహానుల మీద కోపం వచ్చింది.
42 And Jesus, calling them near, saith unto them—Ye know that, they who think to rule the nations, lord it over them, and, their great ones, wield authority over them;
౪౨అయితే యేసు వారిని దగ్గరికి పిలిచి వారితో ఇలా అన్నాడు, “అన్యజనుల అధికారులు ప్రజల మీద తమ ఆధిపత్యాన్ని చూపడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తారు. వారిలో ప్రముఖులు వారిపై అధికారం చెలాయిస్తారు.
43 But, not so, it is, among you. But, whosoever desireth to become, great, among you, shall be, your minister,
౪౩మీరు అలా ఉండకూడదు. మీలో ప్రముఖుడు కావాలనుకొనేవాడు సేవకుడై ఉండాలి.
44 And, whosoever desireth, among you, to be, first, shall be, servant of all;
౪౪మీలో మొదటివాడు కావాలని కోరేవాడు అందరికీ దాసుడై ఉండాలి.
45 For, even the Son of Man, came not to be ministered unto, but minister, —and to give his life, a ransom instead of many.
౪౫ఎందుకంటే మనుష్య కుమారుడు సేవ చేయించుకోడానికి రాలేదు, సేవ చేయడానికీ, అందరి పక్షాన తన ప్రాణాన్ని వెలగా ధార పోయడానికి వచ్చాడు.”
46 And they come into Jericho. And, as he was journeying forth from Jericho, and his disciples, and a considerable multitude, the son of Timaeus, blind Bar-Timaeus, a beggar, was sitting beside the road.
౪౬ఆ తరువాత వారు యెరికో చేరుకున్నారు. యేసు, ఆయన శిష్యులు, వారితో ఉన్న జనసమూహం ఆ పట్టణాన్ని వదిలి బయలుదేరారు. తీమయి కుమారుడు బర్తిమయి అనే ఒక గుడ్డివాడు దారి పక్కన కూర్చుని ఉన్నాడు. అతడు భిక్షగాడు.
47 And, hearing that it was, Jesus the Nazarene, he began to be crying aloud, and saying—O Son of David! Jesus! have mercy on me.
౪౭ఆ గుడ్డివాడు, వస్తున్నది నజరేయుడైన యేసు అని తెలుసుకుని, “యేసూ! దావీదు కుమారా! నా మీద దయ చూపు!” అని కేకలు పెట్టసాగాడు.
48 And many were rebuking him, that he might hold his peace; but, he, so much the more, was crying aloud, O Son of David, have mercy on me.
౪౮చాలా మంది అతణ్ణి గద్దించి ఊరుకోమన్నారు. కాని ఆ గుడ్డివాడు, “దావీదు కుమారా! నా మీద దయ చూపు!” అని ఇంకా పెద్దగా కేకలు వేశాడు.
49 And, coming to a stand, Jesus said—Call him! And they call the blind man, saying unto him—Take courage! rise! he calleth thee!
౪౯యేసు ఆగి, “అతణ్ణి పిలవండి” అన్నాడు. ప్రజలు ఆ గుడ్డివానితో, “ధైర్యంగా ఉండు! లే! ఆయన నిన్ను పిలుస్తున్నాడు” అన్నారు.
50 And, he, throwing off his mantle—springing to his feet, came unto Jesus.
౫౦ఆ గుడ్డివాడు తాను కప్పుకొన్న పైబట్టను అవతల పారవేసి, గభాలున లేచి యేసు దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళాడు.
51 And, answering him, Jesus said—What desirest thou, I should do for thee? And, the blind man, said unto him—Rabboni! that may recover sight.
౫౧యేసు, “ఏం కావాలి?” అని అడిగాడు. ఆ గుడ్డివాడు, “రబ్బీ! నాకు మళ్లీ చూపు ప్రసాదించు” అని వేడుకున్నాడు.
52 And, Jesus, said unto him—Go thy way! thy faith, hath saved thee. And, straightway, he recovered sight, and was following him in the road.
౫౨యేసు, “నీ విశ్వాసం నిన్ను బాగుచేసింది, ఇక వెళ్ళు” అన్నాడు. వెంటనే అతనికి చూపు వచ్చింది. అతడు యేసును అనుసరిస్తూ ఆయనతో వెళ్ళాడు.
