Mark 10
1 And, from thence, arising, he cometh into the bounds of Judaea and beyond the Jordan, —and there come together again, multitudes unto him, and, as he had been wont, again, was he teaching them.
E levantando-se dali, [Jesus] se foi aos limites da Judeia, por dalém do Jordão; e as multidões voltaram a se juntar a ele, e voltou a lhes ensinar, como tinha costume.
2 And Pharisees coming near were questioning him—whether it is allowed a husband to divorce a wife, testing him.
E vindo a ele os fariseus, perguntaram-lhe se era lícito ao homem deixar a [sua] mulher, testando-o.
3 But, he, answering, said unto them—What unto you did, Moses, command?
Mas ele lhes respondeu: O que Moisés vos mandou?
4 And, they, said—Moses permitted, to write, a roll of dismissal, and to divorce.
E eles disseram: Moisés permitiu escrever carta de divórcio, e deixá-la.
5 But, Jesus, said unto them—In view of your hardness of heart, wrote he for you this commandment;
E Jesus lhes respondeu: Foi pela dureza dos vossos corações que ele vos escreveu este mandamento.
6 But, from the beginning of creation, male and female, made he [them];
Porém, desde o princípio da criação, macho e fêmea ele os fez.
7 For this cause, shall a man leave behind his father and mother,
Por isso, deixará o homem a seu pai e a [sua] mãe.
8 and, the two, shall become, one flesh; so that, no longer, are they two, but, one flesh.
E os dois serão uma [só] carne; assim, já não são dois, mas sim uma [só] carne.
9 What then, God, hath yoked together, let, a man, not put asunder.
Portanto, o que Deus juntou, não separe o homem.
10 And, [coming] into the house again, the disciples, concerning this, were questioning him;
E em casa os discípulos voltaram a lhe perguntar sobre isto mesmo.
11 and he saith unto them—Whosoever shall divorce his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her;
E disse-lhes: Qualquer um que deixar a sua mulher, e se casar com outra, adultera contra ela.
12 And, if, she, divorcing her husband, marry another, she committeth adultery.
E se ela deixar o seu marido, e se casar com outro, adultera.
13 And they were bringing unto him children, that he might, touch, them, —the disciples, however, were rebuking them.
E lhe traziam crianças para que ele as tocasse, mas os discípulos repreendiam-lhes.
14 But Jesus, seeing it, was greatly displeased, and said unto them—Suffer the children to come unto me, —do not hinder them; for, of such, is the kingdom of God.
Porém Jesus, vendo, indignou-se, e lhe disse: Deixai vir as crianças a mim, e não as impeçais; porque delas é o Reino de Deus.
15 Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall not welcome the kingdom of God, as a child, in nowise shall enter thereinto.
Em verdade vos digo, que qualquer um que não receber o Reino de Deus como criança, em maneira nenhuma nele entrará.
16 And, folding them in his arms, he was blessing them, having laid his hands upon them.
Então, tomando-as entre seus braços, e pondo as mãos sobre elas, ele as abençoou.
17 And, as he was going forth into a road, one, running, and kneeling before him, was questioning him—Good Teacher! what shall I do that, life age—abiding, I may inherit? (aiōnios g166)
E quando ele saiu para caminhar, um [homem] correu até ele; e pondo-se de joelhos diante dele, perguntou-lhe: Bom Mestre, que farei para herdar a vida eterna? (aiōnios g166)
18 And, Jesus, said unto him—Why callest thou me, good? None, is good, save one—God.
E Jesus lhe disse: Por que me chamas bom? Ninguém é bom, a não ser um: Deus.
19 The commandments, thou knowest, —Do not commit murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal; Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.
Sabes os mandamentos: Não adulterarás; não matarás; não furtarás; não darás falso testemunho; não serás enganador; honra o teu pai e a [tua] mãe.
20 And, he, said unto him—Teacher! all these things, have I kept, from my youth.
Porém ele lhe respondeu: Mestre, tudo isto guardei desde a minha juventude.
21 And, Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said unto him—One thing, unto thee, is wanting; —Withdraw! whatsoever thou hast, sell, and give unto [the] destitute, —and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come! be following me.
E olhando Jesus para ele, amou-o, e disse-lhe: Uma coisa te falta: vai, vende tudo quanto tens, e dá aos pobres; e terás um tesouro no céu; e vem, segue-me, toma [tua] cruz.
22 And, he, becoming gloomy because of the word, departed sorrowing, for he was holding, many possessions.
Mas ele, pesaroso desta palavra, foi-se triste; porque tinha muitas propriedades.
23 And, looking around, Jesus saith unto his disciples—With what difficulty, shall, they who have money, enter, into the kingdom of God!
Então Jesus olhando ao redor, disse a seus discípulos: Como é difícil aos que têm riquezas entrar no Reino de Deus!
24 And, the disciples, were in amazement, because of the words. But, Jesus, again answering, saith unto them—Children! how difficult, it is, to enter, into the kingdom of God!
E os discípulos se espantaram destas suas palavras; mas Jesus, voltando a responder, disse-lhes: Filhos, como é difícil entrar no Reino de Deus!
25 It is, easier, for a camel, through the eye of a needle, to pass, than for, a rich man, into the kingdom of God, to enter.
Mais fácil é passar um camelo pelo olho de uma agulha, do que entrar um rico no Reino de Deus.
26 And, they, were being exceedingly struck with astonishment, saying unto him—Who, then, can, be saved?
E eles se espantavam ainda mais, dizendo uns para os outros: Quem, pois, poderá se salvar?
27 Looking at them, Jesus saith—With men, impossible, but not, with God; for, all things, are possible, with God
Porém, olhando Jesus para eles, disse: Para os seres humanos, é impossível; mas para Deus, não; porque para Deus tudo é possível.
28 Peter began to be saying unto him—Lo! we, have left all, and followed thee!
E Pedro começou a lhe dizer: Eis que nós deixamos tudo, e te seguimos.
29 Jesus said—Verily, I say unto you—There is, no one, who hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me, and [for the sake of] the glad-message,
Jesus respondeu: Em verdade vos digo, que não há ninguém que tenha deixado casa, ou irmãos, ou irmãs, ou mãe, ou pai, ou filhos, ou campos, por amor de mim e do Evangelho,
31 But, many, shall be—first-last, and [the] Last-first.
Porém muitos primeiros serão últimos, e últimos, primeiros.
32 Now they were in the way, going up unto Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on before them, —and they were in amazement; and, they who followed, were in fear. And, taking unto himself, again, the twelve, he began to be saying unto them, as to the things about to befall him—
E iam pelo caminho, subindo para Jerusalém; e Jesus ia diante deles, e espantavam-se, e seguiam-no atemorizados. E voltando a tomar consigo aos doze, começou-lhes a dizer as coisas que lhe viriam a acontecer:
33 Lo! we are going up unto Jerusalem; and, the Son of Man, will be delivered up, unto the Chief-priests and the Scribes, —and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him up unto the nations;
Eis que subimos a Jerusalém, e o Filho do homem será entregue aos chefes dos sacerdotes, e aos escribas; e o condenarão à morte, e o entregarão aos gentios.
34 And they will mock him, and spit upon him, and scourge him, and, slay; —and, after three days, will he, arise.
E escarnecerão dele, e cuspirão nele, e o açoitarão, e o matarão; e três dias depois ressuscitará.
35 And there come near unto him, James and John, the [two] sons of Zebedee, —saying unto him—Teacher! we desire, that, whatsoever we shall ask thee, thou wilt do for us.
E vieram a ele Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, dizendo-lhe: Mestre, queríamos que nos fizesses o que pedirmos.
36 But, he, said unto them—What desire ye, I should do for you?
E ele lhes disse: O que quereis que eu vos faça?
37 And, they, said unto him—Grant us, that, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left, we may sit, in thy glory.
E eles lhe disseram: Concede-nos que em tua glória nos sentemos, um à tua direita, e outro à tua esquerda?
38 But, Jesus, said unto them—Ye know not what ye are asking: Are ye able to drink the cup that, I, am to drink? or to be immersed, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed?
Mas Jesus lhes disse: Não sabeis o que pedis; podeis vós beber o copo que eu bebo, ou ser batizados com o batismo com que eu sou batizado?
39 And, they, said unto him—We are able. And, Jesus, said unto them—The cup which, I, am to drink, ye shall drink, and, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed, shall ye be immersed;
E eles lhe disseram: Podemos. Porém Jesus lhes disse: Em verdade, o copo que eu bebo, bebereis; e com o batismo com que eu sou batizado, sereis batizados.
40 But, to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, except unto them for whom it hath been prepared.
Mas sentar-se à minha direita, ou à minha esquerda, não é meu concedê-lo, mas sim, para aqueles a quem está preparado.
41 And the ten, hearing, began to be sorely displeased, concerning James and John.
E quando os dez ouviram isto, começaram a se irritar contra Tiago e João.
42 And Jesus, calling them near, saith unto them—Ye know that, they who think to rule the nations, lord it over them, and, their great ones, wield authority over them;
Mas Jesus, chamando-os a si, disse-lhes: Já sabeis que os que são vistos como governadores dos gentios, agem como senhores deles; e os grandes usam de autoridade sobre eles.
43 But, not so, it is, among you. But, whosoever desireth to become, great, among you, shall be, your minister,
Mas entre vós não será assim; antes qualquer que entre vós quiser ser grande, será vosso servidor.
44 And, whosoever desireth, among you, to be, first, shall be, servant of all;
E qualquer que de vós quiser ser o primeiro, será servo de todos.
45 For, even the Son of Man, came not to be ministered unto, but minister, —and to give his life, a ransom instead of many.
Porque também não veio o Filho do homem para ser servido, mas para servir, e dar sua vida em resgate por muitos.
46 And they come into Jericho. And, as he was journeying forth from Jericho, and his disciples, and a considerable multitude, the son of Timaeus, blind Bar-Timaeus, a beggar, was sitting beside the road.
E vieram a Jericó. E saindo ele, e seus discípulos, e uma grande multidão de Jericó, estava Bartimeu, um mendigo cego, filho de Timeu, sentado junto ao caminho.
47 And, hearing that it was, Jesus the Nazarene, he began to be crying aloud, and saying—O Son of David! Jesus! have mercy on me.
E ouvindo que era Jesus o nazareno, começou a clamar, e a dizer: Jesus, Filho de Davi! Tem misericórdia de mim!
48 And many were rebuking him, that he might hold his peace; but, he, so much the more, was crying aloud, O Son of David, have mercy on me.
E muitos o repreendiam, para que se calasse; mas ele clamava ainda mais: Filho de Davi! Tem misericórdia de mim!
49 And, coming to a stand, Jesus said—Call him! And they call the blind man, saying unto him—Take courage! rise! he calleth thee!
Jesus parou, e disse: chamai-o. Então chamaram ao cego, dizendo-lhe: Tem bom ânimo, levanta-te, ele está te chamando.
50 And, he, throwing off his mantle—springing to his feet, came unto Jesus.
Então ele lançou sua capa, deu um salto, e veio a Jesus.
51 And, answering him, Jesus said—What desirest thou, I should do for thee? And, the blind man, said unto him—Rabboni! that may recover sight.
Jesus, lhe perguntou: Que queres que eu te faça? E o cego lhe disse: Mestre, que eu veja.
52 And, Jesus, said unto him—Go thy way! thy faith, hath saved thee. And, straightway, he recovered sight, and was following him in the road.
Jesus lhe disse: Vai; a tua fé te salvou. E logo consegiu ver. Então seguiu [Jesus] pelo caminho.
