< Mark 10 >

1 And, from thence, arising, he cometh into the bounds of Judaea and beyond the Jordan, —and there come together again, multitudes unto him, and, as he had been wont, again, was he teaching them.

3 But, he, answering, said unto them—What unto you did, Moses, command?
Nodwokogi niya, “Angʼo mane Musa ochikou mondo utim?”
4 And, they, said—Moses permitted, to write, a roll of dismissal, and to divorce.
Negiwacho niya, “Musa noyie mondo dichwo ondik barup weruok mar ketho keny eka oriembe.”
5 But, Jesus, said unto them—In view of your hardness of heart, wrote he for you this commandment;
Yesu nodwokogi niya, “Musa nondikonu chikni nikech chunyu matek.
6 But, from the beginning of creation, male and female, made he [them];
To chakre chwech piny, Nyasaye nochweyogi dichwo gi dhako.

9 What then, God, hath yoked together, let, a man, not put asunder.

10 And, [coming] into the house again, the disciples, concerning this, were questioning him;
Kane gidok e ot kendo, jopuonjre Yesu nopenje kuom wachni.

To Yesu nodwokogi niya, “Ngʼato angʼata mowere gi chiege mokendo dhako machielo odonjo e richo mar terruok nikech chiege moriembono.
12 And, if, she, divorcing her husband, marry another, she committeth adultery.
To kata dhako ema owere gi chwore mokendore gi dichwo machielo to odonjo e richo mar terruok.”
13 And they were bringing unto him children, that he might, touch, them, —the disciples, however, were rebuking them.
Ji ne kelo nyithindo matindo ir Yesu mondo ogwedhgi, to jopuonjre nokwerogi.
14 But Jesus, seeing it, was greatly displeased, and said unto them—Suffer the children to come unto me, —do not hinder them; for, of such, is the kingdom of God.

16 And, folding them in his arms, he was blessing them, having laid his hands upon them.

17 And, as he was going forth into a road, one, running, and kneeling before him, was questioning him—Good Teacher! what shall I do that, life age—abiding, I may inherit? (aiōnios g166)

Yesu nodwoke kapenje niya, “Angʼo momiyo iluonga ni ngʼama ber? Onge ngʼama ber makmana Nyasaye kende.

20 And, he, said unto him—Teacher! all these things, have I kept, from my youth.
Nodwoke niya, “Japuonj, magi duto aserito nyaka aa tin-na.”
21 And, Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said unto him—One thing, unto thee, is wanting; —Withdraw! whatsoever thou hast, sell, and give unto [the] destitute, —and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come! be following me.
Yesu nongʼiyo wuowino mohere, eka owachone niya, “Gimoro achiel ema iremo. Wuogi idhi ilok mwanduni duto ma in-go pesa mondo ipog joma odhier, eka inibed gi mwandu mokan e polo. Bangʼ timo kamano to bi mondo iluwa.”
22 And, he, becoming gloomy because of the word, departed sorrowing, for he was holding, many possessions.

23 And, looking around, Jesus saith unto his disciples—With what difficulty, shall, they who have money, enter, into the kingdom of God!
To Yesu nongʼicho koni gi koni, eka owacho ni jopuonjrene niya, “Mano kaka en gima tek mondo ja-mwandu odonji e pinyruoth Nyasaye!”
24 And, the disciples, were in amazement, because of the words. But, Jesus, again answering, saith unto them—Children! how difficult, it is, to enter, into the kingdom of God!
Jopuonjrene nowuoro wechegego. To Yesu nomedo wuoyo kodgi kawacho niya, “Nyithindo, mano kaka en gima tek mondo ngʼato odonji e pinyruoth Nyasaye!
25 It is, easier, for a camel, through the eye of a needle, to pass, than for, a rich man, into the kingdom of God, to enter.
Yot mondo ngamia okadhi e wangʼ sandan moloyo jamoko donjo e pinyruoth Nyasaye.”
26 And, they, were being exceedingly struck with astonishment, saying unto him—Who, then, can, be saved?

27 Looking at them, Jesus saith—With men, impossible, but not, with God; for, all things, are possible, with God
To Yesu nongʼiyogi tir mi owachonegi niya, “Mano en gima ok nyalre kuom dhano, to ok kuom Nyasaye, nimar kuom Nyasaye to gik moko duto nyalore.”

29 Jesus said—Verily, I say unto you—There is, no one, who hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me, and [for the sake of] the glad-message,
To Yesu nodwoke kawacho niya, “Awachonu adier ni onge ngʼato moseweyo dalane, kata owetene, kata nyiminene, kata min-gi, kata wuon-gi, kata nyithinde, kata puothene, nikech An kendo nikech Injili,

31 But, many, shall be—first-last, and [the] Last-first.
To ji mangʼeny masani okwongo nobed chien mogik, kendo joma sani ni chien mogik, nobed mokwongo.”
32 Now they were in the way, going up unto Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on before them, —and they were in amazement; and, they who followed, were in fear. And, taking unto himself, again, the twelve, he began to be saying unto them, as to the things about to befall him—

35 And there come near unto him, James and John, the [two] sons of Zebedee, —saying unto him—Teacher! we desire, that, whatsoever we shall ask thee, thou wilt do for us.

37 And, they, said unto him—Grant us, that, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left, we may sit, in thy glory.
Negidwoke niya, “Yie mondo kidwogo e duongʼni maler to iket achiel kuomwa obed e badi korachwich to machielo e badi koracham.”
38 But, Jesus, said unto them—Ye know not what ye are asking: Are ye able to drink the cup that, I, am to drink? or to be immersed, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed?
Yesu nowachonegi niya, “Ok ungʼeyo gima ukwayo. Bende unyalo madho kikombe ma amadho kata yudo batiso machal gi mitisago?”
39 And, they, said unto him—We are able. And, Jesus, said unto them—The cup which, I, am to drink, ye shall drink, and, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed, shall ye be immersed;
Negidwoke niya, “Wanyalo.” Yesu nowachonegi niya, “En adier ni ubiro metho e kikombe ma amethoe mi obatisu gi batiso mitisago,

41 And the ten, hearing, began to be sorely displeased, concerning James and John.
