< Mark 10 >

1 And, from thence, arising, he cometh into the bounds of Judaea and beyond the Jordan, —and there come together again, multitudes unto him, and, as he had been wont, again, was he teaching them.
ᎾᎿᎭᏃ ᏚᎴᏅ, ᏧᏗᏱ ᎦᏓ ᎠᎲᎢ ᎤᎷᏤᎢ, ᏦᏓᏂ ᎠᏍᎪᏂᏗᏢ ᏧᎶᎯᏍᏔᏁᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏴᏫ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎢᎬᏩᏓᏟᏌᏁᎴᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎢᏳᏛᏁᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏄᏛᏁᎴᎢ, ᏔᎵᏁ ᏚᏪᏲᏁᎢ.
2 And Pharisees coming near were questioning him—whether it is allowed a husband to divorce a wife, testing him.
ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏᏃ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᎸ ᎬᏩᏛᏛᏁᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᏚᏳᎪᏗᏍᎪ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏓᎢᏅᏗᏱ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ? ᎬᏩᎪᎵᏰᏍᎨᎢ.
3 But, he, answering, said unto them—What unto you did, Moses, command?
ᎤᏁᏨᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏑᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙ ᎤᏍᏕ ᎢᏥᏁᏤᎴ ᎼᏏ?
4 And, they, said—Moses permitted, to write, a roll of dismissal, and to divorce.
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᎼᏏ ᎤᎵᏍᎪᎸᏔᏁ ᎪᏪᎶᏗᏱ ᏙᎦᎴᏅᎲᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓᎢᏅᏗᏱ.
5 But, Jesus, said unto them—In view of your hardness of heart, wrote he for you this commandment;
ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏁᏨ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏗᏍᏓᏱᏳ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏗᏥᎾᏫ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎢᏦᏪᎳᏁᎴᎢ;
6 But, from the beginning of creation, male and female, made he [them];
ᏗᏓᎴᏂᏍᎬᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏪᏢᏅᏅᎢ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎨᏴ ᏚᏬᏢᏁᎢ.
7 For this cause, shall a man leave behind his father and mother,
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᏕᎬᏕᎨᏍᏗ ᎤᏙᏓ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ ᎠᏜᏓᏩᏍᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ;
8 and, the two, shall become, one flesh; so that, no longer, are they two, but, one flesh.
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ ᏌᏉᏉ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎤᏂᏇᏓᎸᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎥᏝ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ ᏱᎩ, ᏌᏉᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏂᏇᏓᎸᎢ.
9 What then, God, hath yoked together, let, a man, not put asunder.
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏧᏭᏓᏔᏅᎯ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏴᏫ ᏧᎦᎴᏅᏔᏅᎩ.
10 And, [coming] into the house again, the disciples, concerning this, were questioning him;
ᎦᎵᏦᏕᏃ ᎠᏂᏯᎥ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎢᎬᏩᏛᏛᏁ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ.
11 and he saith unto them—Whosoever shall divorce his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her;
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎩᎶ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ ᎠᏓᎡᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᎠᏓᏰᎨᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏓᏲᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᎠᏍᎦᏅᏤᎮᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ.
12 And, if, she, divorcing her husband, marry another, she committeth adultery.
ᎢᏳ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎨᏴ ᎤᏰᎯ ᎠᏓᎡᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᏓᎾᏤᎨᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏓᏲᏁᎮᏍᏗ.
13 And they were bringing unto him children, that he might, touch, them, —the disciples, however, were rebuking them.
ᏧᎾᏍᏗᏃ ᏗᏂᏲᎵ ᏕᎬᏩᏘᏃᎮᎴᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏒᏂᏍᏗᏱ; ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯᏃ ᏚᏂᎬᏍᎪᎸᏁ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᎾᏘᏃᎸᎯ.
14 But Jesus, seeing it, was greatly displeased, and said unto them—Suffer the children to come unto me, —do not hinder them; for, of such, is the kingdom of God.
ᏥᏌᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᎪᎲ ᎤᏣᏘ ᏒᏍᎦ ᎤᏰᎸᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎤᏁᎳᎩ ᏕᏤᎵᏎᎮᏍᏗ ᏧᎾᏍᏗ ᏗᏂᏲᎵ ᎬᎩᎷᏤᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏱᏗᏥᏅᏍᏓᏕᎮᏍᏗ; ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᏄᎾᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎪᎯ.
15 Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall not welcome the kingdom of God, as a child, in nowise shall enter thereinto.
ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒ ᏂᏓᏓᏂᎸᎬᎾ ᎢᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎠᏲᎵ ᏥᏓᏓᏂᎸᎪᎢ, ᎥᏝ ᎾᎿᎭᏱᏮᎬᏴᎭ.
16 And, folding them in his arms, he was blessing them, having laid his hands upon them.
ᏚᏁᏒᏃ ᎠᎴ ᏚᏏᏔᏛ, ᎣᏍᏛ ᏚᏁᏤᎴᎢ.
17 And, as he was going forth into a road, one, running, and kneeling before him, was questioning him—Good Teacher! what shall I do that, life age—abiding, I may inherit? (aiōnios g166)
ᎤᏂᎩᏒᏃ ᎦᏅᏅ ᏭᎷᏨ, ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎤᏗᏠᎡᎸᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᎵᏂᏆᏅᏁᎸᎩ, ᎤᏛᏛᏁ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎰᏍᏛ ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎦᏙ ᏓᎦᏛᏁᎵ ᎤᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎬᏂᏛ ᎠᏆᏤᎵ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ? (aiōnios g166)
18 And, Jesus, said unto him—Why callest thou me, good? None, is good, save one—God.
ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎰᏍᏛ ᎢᏍᏉᏎᎭ ᎠᏴ? ᎥᏝ ᎩᎶ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏱᎩ, ᏌᏉ ᎤᏩᏒᎯᏳ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ.
19 The commandments, thou knowest, —Do not commit murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal; Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.
ᏕᎯᎦᏔᎭ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏓᏲᏁᎸᎩ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏓᎸᎩ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏃᏍᎩᏒᎩ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᎦᏰᎪᎩ ᏣᏃᎮᎸᎩ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏓᎶᏄᎮᎸᎩ, ᏣᏙᏓ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏥ ᏕᎯᎸᏉᏕᏍᏗ.
20 And, he, said unto him—Teacher! all these things, have I kept, from my youth.
ᎤᏁᏨᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏓᎩᏍᏆᏂᎪᏔᏅ ᏥᏧᏣ ᎨᏒ ᏅᏓᎬᏩᏓᎴᏅᏛ.
21 And, Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said unto him—One thing, unto thee, is wanting; —Withdraw! whatsoever thou hast, sell, and give unto [the] destitute, —and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come! be following me.
ᏥᏌᏃ ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏅ, ᎤᎨᏳᎯᏳ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏑᏓᎴᎩ ᏣᎷᎳ; ᎮᎾ ᏫᎾᏚᎦ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏣᎾᎥᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᎿᎭᏕᎩ ᎩᏁᎸᎭ, ᏦᏒᏃ ᏫᏣᎮᏍᏗ ᏧᎬᏩᎶᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᏖᏒᎭ, ᏧᏓᎿᎭᏩᏛ ᎯᏴᎲᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᏍᎩᏍᏓᏩᏕᏒᎭ.
22 And, he, becoming gloomy because of the word, departed sorrowing, for he was holding, many possessions.
ᎤᏲᏃ ᎤᏰᎸᏁ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏥᏪᏎᎸ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᎯᏍᏗ ᎬᏩᏓᏅᏘ ᎤᏓᏅᏎᎢ; ᎤᏣᏘᏰᏃ ᎤᎿᎭᎡᎢ.
23 And, looking around, Jesus saith unto his disciples—With what difficulty, shall, they who have money, enter, into the kingdom of God!
ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏚᏫᏛ ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏂᏙᎸ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ, ᎾᏍᏓᏯ ᏧᎬᏩᎶᏗ ᎤᏂᎯ ᎤᏁᎳᎲᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎪᎯ ᏭᏂᏴᏍᏗᏱ.
24 And, the disciples, were in amazement, because of the words. But, Jesus, again answering, saith unto them—Children! how difficult, it is, to enter, into the kingdom of God!
ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯᏃ ᎬᏩᏍᏆᏂᎪᏎᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏪᏒᎢ. ᎠᏎᏃ ᏥᏌ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎢᎤᏁᏨ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏗᏥᏲᎵ. ᎾᏍᏓᏯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᏅᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎾᎵᏍᎦᏍᏙᏗᏍᎩ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎪᎯ ᏭᏂᏴᏍᏗᏱ.
25 It is, easier, for a camel, through the eye of a needle, to pass, than for, a rich man, into the kingdom of God, to enter.
ᎤᏟ ᎠᎯᏗᏳ ᎨᎻᎵ ᏴᎩ ᎦᏌᏁᎾᏛᏗᏱ ᎤᎦᏛᎴᎯᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᏃ ᎤᏪᎿᎭᎢ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎪᎯ ᏭᏴᏍᏗᏱ.
26 And, they, were being exceedingly struck with astonishment, saying unto him—Who, then, can, be saved?
ᎤᎶᏒᏍᏔᏅᎯᏃ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏍᎨᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏓᎾᏓᏪᏎᎮᎢ, ᎦᎪᎨ ᏰᎵ ᎦᏰᏥᏍᏕᎸᏗ?
27 Looking at them, Jesus saith—With men, impossible, but not, with God; for, all things, are possible, with God
ᏥᏌᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏅ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏴᏫ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎬᏛᏁᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎨᏒ ᎥᏝ; ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏰᏃ ᎨᏒ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎢᎬᏛᏁᏗ.
28 Peter began to be saying unto him—Lo! we, have left all, and followed thee!
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏈᏓ ᎤᎴᏅᎮ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎠᏴ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᎣᎬᏕᏦᏅ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎯ ᎢᏨᏍᏓᏩᏕᏅ.
29 Jesus said—Verily, I say unto you—There is, no one, who hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me, and [for the sake of] the glad-message,
ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ, ᎥᏝ ᎩᎶ ᏰᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏮᏕᏨᎯ ᎢᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎠᏓᏁᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᎵᏅᏟ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏙᏓ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏪᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᎶᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᏴ ᎨᏒ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ,
30 who shall not receive a hundredfold, now, in this season, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, —with persecutions, and, in the age that is coming, life age-abiding. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎪᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏥᏁᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏍᎪᎯᏧᏈ ᎢᏳᏩᎫᏗ ᎤᎶᏒᏍᏗ ᏓᏓᏁᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᎵᏅᏟ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏪᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᎦᎶᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎩᎵᏲᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏔᎵ ᎤᏛᏗ; ᏐᎢᏱᏃ ᏗᎨᏒ ᎤᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎬᏂᏛ. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
31 But, many, shall be—first-last, and [the] Last-first.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏂᏣᏔ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎬᏱ ᏥᎩ, ᎣᏂ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᎣᏂᏃ ᏥᎩ, ᎢᎬᏱ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
32 Now they were in the way, going up unto Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on before them, —and they were in amazement; and, they who followed, were in fear. And, taking unto himself, again, the twelve, he began to be saying unto them, as to the things about to befall him—
ᎦᏅᏅᏃ ᎠᎾᎢᏎ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᏣᏂᎦᏖᎢ; ᏥᏌᏃ ᎢᎬᏱ ᏚᏪᏅᎡᎴᎢ; ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏎᏃ; ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᎾᎵᏍᏓᏩᏗᏒ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎢᎮᎢ. ᏔᎵᏁᏃ ᏚᏯᏅᎲ ᏔᎳᏚ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ, ᎤᎴᏅᎮ ᏚᏃᏁᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏓᏁᎵᏓᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
33 Lo! we are going up unto Jerusalem; and, the Son of Man, will be delivered up, unto the Chief-priests and the Scribes, —and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him up unto the nations;
[ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎨᎢ; ] ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᏫᏗᎦᏘ; ᎠᎴ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏙᏓᏰᏥᏲᏏ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸ ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩ ᏙᏓᎨᏥᏲᎯᏎᎵ; ᎠᎴ ᏙᏓᎬᏭᎪᏓᏁᎵ ᎤᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏫᏙᏛᏂᏲᎯᏎᎵ;
34 And they will mock him, and spit upon him, and scourge him, and, slay; —and, after three days, will he, arise.
ᎠᎴ ᏓᎬᏩᏐᏢᎢᏍᏔᏂ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᎬᏩᎵᎥᏂᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᏙᏓᎬᏩᎵᏥᏍᏈ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᎬᏩᎵ; ᏦᎢᏁᏃ ᎢᎦ ᏔᎵᏁ ᏙᏛᎠᎴᏂ.
35 And there come near unto him, James and John, the [two] sons of Zebedee, —saying unto him—Teacher! we desire, that, whatsoever we shall ask thee, thou wilt do for us.
ᏥᎻᏃ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏂ, ᏤᏈᏗ ᏧᏪᏥ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᏍᎩᎾᏚᎵᎭ ᎢᏍᎩᎾᏛᏁᏗᏱ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎢᏍᏛᏔᏲᏎᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
36 But, he, said unto them—What desire ye, I should do for you?
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎢᏍᏓᏚᎵ ᎢᏍᏛᏯᏛᏁᏗᏱ?
37 And, they, said unto him—Grant us, that, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left, we may sit, in thy glory.
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏍᎩᎾᎵᏍᎪᎸᏓᏏ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏦᎩᏂᏗᏱ, ᎠᏏᏴᏫ ᎯᎦᏘᏏᏗᏢ, ᏐᎢᏃ ᎯᎦᏍᎦᏂᏗᏢ, ᏣᏤᎵ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ.
38 But, Jesus, said unto them—Ye know not what ye are asking: Are ye able to drink the cup that, I, am to drink? or to be immersed, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed?
ᎠᏎᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎥᏝ ᏱᏍᏗᎦᏔᎭ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎢᏍᏗᏔᏲᎯᎲᎢ. ᏥᏌ ᏰᎵᏉ ᎨᏍᏓᏗᏔᏍᏗ ᎤᎵᏍᏈᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏆᏗᏔᏍᏗ ᏥᎩ? ᎠᎴ ᏗᎦᏰᏍᏓᏬᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᏓᏬᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎥᏆᏬᏍᏙᏗ ᏥᎩ?
39 And, they, said unto him—We are able. And, Jesus, said unto them—The cup which, I, am to drink, ye shall drink, and, with the immersion wherewith, I, am to be immersed, shall ye be immersed;
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏰᎵᏉ. ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᏓᏍᏓᏗᏔᎯ ᎤᎵᏍᏈᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏴ ᎠᏆᏗᏔᏍᏗ ᏥᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏓᏬᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏴ ᎥᏆᏬᏍᏙᏗ ᏥᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏙᏓᏰᏍᏓᏬᏍᏔᏂ;
40 But, to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, except unto them for whom it hath been prepared.
ᎤᏪᏗᏱᏍᎩᏂ ᎠᏉᎸ ᏥᎦᏘᏏ ᎢᏗᏢ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᎦᏍᎦᏂ ᎢᏗᏢ, ᎥᏝ ᎠᏴ ᎠᏆᏓᏁᏗ ᏱᎩ; ᎤᏅᏒᏍᎩᏂ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᎦᏛᏅᎢᏍᏓᏁᎸᎯ ᏥᎩ
41 And the ten, hearing, began to be sorely displeased, concerning James and John.
ᎠᏍᎪᎯᏃ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ, ᎤᎾᎴᏅᎮ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎡᏍᎦ ᏚᏂᏰᎸᎾᏁᎴ ᏥᎻ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏂ.
42 And Jesus, calling them near, saith unto them—Ye know that, they who think to rule the nations, lord it over them, and, their great ones, wield authority over them;
ᎠᏎᏃ ᏥᏌ ᏫᏚᏯᏅᎲ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎢᏥᎦᏔᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏥᏰᎸᎢ ᎨᏒ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏓᏁᏩᏗᏒᎢ, ᏗᎬᏩᎾᏁᎶᏙᏗᏱ ᎾᏅᏁᎰᎢ; ᏧᏂᎸᏉᏗᏃ ᎨᏒ ᎬᏩᎾᏓᎵᏁᎯᏕᎰᎢ.
43 But, not so, it is, among you. But, whosoever desireth to become, great, among you, shall be, your minister,
ᏂᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎢᏤᎲ ᎥᏞᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏂᏨᏁᏍᏗ; ᎩᎶᏍᎩᏂ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎡᏥᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
44 And, whosoever desireth, among you, to be, first, shall be, servant of all;
ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᏂᎯ ᏂᏣᏛᏅ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎬᏩᏅᏏᏙᎯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
45 For, even the Son of Man, came not to be ministered unto, but minister, —and to give his life, a ransom instead of many.
ᎾᏍᏉᏰᏃ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎥᏝ ᏳᎷᏨ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎠᎦᏛᏁᏗᏱ, ᎪᎱᏍᏗᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏓᏛᏁᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏅ ᏧᏲᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏧᎫᏴᏙᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ.
46 And they come into Jericho. And, as he was journeying forth from Jericho, and his disciples, and a considerable multitude, the son of Timaeus, blind Bar-Timaeus, a beggar, was sitting beside the road.
ᏤᎵᎪᏃ ᎤᏂᎷᏤᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏤᎵᎪ ᎢᎤᏄᎪᏨ ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏴᏫ, ᏗᎨᏫ ᏆᏗᎻᏯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎻᏯ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᎤᏬᎴ ᏅᏃᎱᎶᏗ ᎠᏚᎳᏗᏍᎨᎢ.
47 And, hearing that it was, Jesus the Nazarene, he began to be crying aloud, and saying—O Son of David! Jesus! have mercy on me.
ᎤᏛᎦᏅᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏌ ᎾᏎᎵᏗ ᎡᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᎴᏅᎮ ᎤᏪᎷᏁ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏕᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᏥᏌ, ᏍᎩᏙᎵᎩ.
48 And many were rebuking him, that he might hold his peace; but, he, so much the more, was crying aloud, O Son of David, have mercy on me.
ᎤᏂᏣᏖᏃ ᎬᏩᎬᏍᎪᎸᏁ ᎬᏩᏁᏤᎴ ᎡᎳᏪᏱ ᎤᏮᏗᏱ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏟᏉ ᎢᎦᎢ ᎤᏪᎷᏁᎢ, ᏕᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏍᎩᏙᎵᎩ, ᎠᏗᏍᎨᎢ.
49 And, coming to a stand, Jesus said—Call him! And they call the blind man, saying unto him—Take courage! rise! he calleth thee!
ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᎴᏫᏍᏔᏅ ᎤᏁᏤ ᏩᏥᏯᏅᏗᏱ. ᎤᏂᏯᏅᎮᏃ ᏗᎨᏫ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎤᎦᎵᏍᏗᏉ ᎭᏓᏅᏓᏓ; ᏔᎴᎲᎦ; ᏗᏣᏯᏂᎭ.
50 And, he, throwing off his mantle—springing to his feet, came unto Jesus.
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᏓᎢᏅ ᎤᏄᏬ ᏚᎴᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᏌ ᏭᎷᏤᎴᎢ.
51 And, answering him, Jesus said—What desirest thou, I should do for thee? And, the blind man, said unto him—Rabboni! that may recover sight.
ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙ ᏣᏚᎵ ᎬᏯᏛᏁᏗᏱ? ᏗᎨᏫᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎥᎠᎩᎪᏩᏛᏗᏱ [ ᎠᏆᏚᎵᎭ.]
52 And, Jesus, said unto him—Go thy way! thy faith, hath saved thee. And, straightway, he recovered sight, and was following him in the road.
ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎮᎾᏉᏃ; ᏦᎯᏳᏒ ᏣᏍᏕᎸ. ᎩᎳᏉᏃ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎬᏩᎪᏩᏛᏗ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏍᏓᏩᏛᏎ ᏥᏌ ᎠᎢᏒᎢ.
