< Luke 15 >

1 But all the tax-collectors and the sinners were, unto him, drawing near, to be hearkening unto him;
ତଦା କରସଞ୍ଚାଯିନଃ ପାପିନଶ୍ଚ ଲୋକା ଉପଦେଶ୍କଥାଂ ଶ୍ରୋତୁଂ ଯୀଶୋଃ ସମୀପମ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛନ୍|
2 and both the Pharisees and the Scribes were murmuring, saying, This man, unto sinners, giveth welcome, and eateth with them.
ତତଃ ଫିରୂଶିନ ଉପାଧ୍ୟାଯାଶ୍ଚ ୱିୱଦମାନାଃ କଥଯାମାସୁଃ ଏଷ ମାନୁଷଃ ପାପିଭିଃ ସହ ପ୍ରଣଯଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ତୈଃ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧଂ ଭୁଂକ୍ତେ|
3 And he spake unto them this parable, saying—
ତଦା ସ ତେଭ୍ୟ ଇମାଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତକଥାଂ କଥିତୱାନ୍,
4 What man from among you, having a hundred sheep, and losing, from among them, one, doth not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go his way after the lost one, until he find it?
କସ୍ୟଚିତ୍ ଶତମେଷେଷୁ ତିଷ୍ଠତ୍ମୁ ତେଷାମେକଂ ସ ଯଦି ହାରଯତି ତର୍ହି ମଧ୍ୟେପ୍ରାନ୍ତରମ୍ ଏକୋନଶତମେଷାନ୍ ୱିହାଯ ହାରିତମେଷସ୍ୟ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶପ୍ରାପ୍ତିପର୍ୟ୍ୟନତଂ ନ ଗୱେଷଯତି, ଏତାଦୃଶୋ ଲୋକୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ କ ଆସ୍ତେ?
5 And, finding it, he layeth it upon his shoulders, rejoicing;
ତସ୍ୟୋଦ୍ଦେଶଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ହୃଷ୍ଟମନାସ୍ତଂ ସ୍କନ୍ଧେ ନିଧାଯ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥାନମ୍ ଆନୀଯ ବନ୍ଧୁବାନ୍ଧୱସମୀପୱାସିନ ଆହୂଯ ୱକ୍ତି,
6 and, coming unto his house, calleth together the friends and the neighbours, saying unto them—Rejoice with me! because I have found my sheep that was lost!
ହାରିତଂ ମେଷଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୋହମ୍ ଅତୋ ହେତୋ ର୍ମଯା ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଆନନ୍ଦତ|
7 I say unto you—Thus, joy in heaven, will there be, over one sinner repenting, rather than over ninety-nine righteous persons, who indeed have, no need, of repentance.
ତଦ୍ୱଦହଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ୱଦାମି, ଯେଷାଂ ମନଃପରାୱର୍ତ୍ତନସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଯୋଜନଂ ନାସ୍ତି, ତାଦୃଶୈକୋନଶତଧାର୍ମ୍ମିକକାରଣାଦ୍ ଯ ଆନନ୍ଦସ୍ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଏକସ୍ୟ ମନଃପରିୱର୍ତ୍ତିନଃ ପାପିନଃ କାରଣାତ୍ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗେ ଽଧିକାନନ୍ଦୋ ଜାଯତେ|
8 Or, what woman, having, ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and seek carefully, until she find it?
ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ଦଶାନାଂ ରୂପ୍ୟଖଣ୍ଡାନାମ୍ ଏକଖଣ୍ଡେ ହାରିତେ ପ୍ରଦୀପଂ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱାଲ୍ୟ ଗୃହଂ ସମ୍ମାର୍ଜ୍ୟ ତସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତିଂ ଯାୱଦ୍ ଯତ୍ନେନ ନ ଗୱେଷଯତି, ଏତାଦୃଶୀ ଯୋଷିତ୍ କାସ୍ତେ?
9 And, having found it, she calleth together her female friends and neighbours, saying—Rejoice with me! because I have found the piece of silver which I had lost.
ପ୍ରାପ୍ତେ ସତି ବନ୍ଧୁବାନ୍ଧୱସମୀପୱାସିନୀରାହୂଯ କଥଯତି, ହାରିତଂ ରୂପ୍ୟଖଣ୍ଡଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତାହଂ ତସ୍ମାଦେୱ ମଯା ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଆନନ୍ଦତ|
10 Thus, I say unto you, there ariseth joy in presence of the messengers of God, over one sinner repenting.
ତଦ୍ୱଦହଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ୱ୍ୟାହରାମି, ଏକେନ ପାପିନା ମନସି ପରିୱର୍ତ୍ତିତେ, ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଦୂତାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେପ୍ୟାନନ୍ଦୋ ଜାଯତେ|
11 And he said—A certain man, had two sons.
ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ସ କଥଯାମାସ, କସ୍ୟଚିଦ୍ ଦ୍ୱୌ ପୁତ୍ରାୱାସ୍ତାଂ,
12 And the younger of them said unto the father—Father! give me the share that falleth to me, of what there is. And, he, divided unto them the living.
ତଯୋଃ କନିଷ୍ଠଃ ପୁତ୍ରଃ ପିତ୍ରେ କଥଯାମାସ, ହେ ପିତସ୍ତୱ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତ୍ୟା ଯମଂଶଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ସ୍ୟାମ୍ୟହଂ ୱିଭଜ୍ୟ ତଂ ଦେହି, ତତଃ ପିତା ନିଜାଂ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିଂ ୱିଭଜ୍ୟ ତାଭ୍ୟାଂ ଦଦୌ|
13 And, after not many days, the younger son, gathering all together, left home for a country far away, and, there, squandered his substance with riotous living.
କତିପଯାତ୍ କାଲାତ୍ ପରଂ ସ କନିଷ୍ଠପୁତ୍ରଃ ସମସ୍ତଂ ଧନଂ ସଂଗୃହ୍ୟ ଦୂରଦେଶଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ଦୁଷ୍ଟାଚରଣେନ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଂ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିଂ ନାଶଯାମାସ|
14 And, when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine throughout that country, —and, he, began to be in want.
ତସ୍ୟ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଧନେ ୱ୍ୟଯଂ ଗତେ ତଦ୍ଦେଶେ ମହାଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷଂ ବଭୂୱ, ତତସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଦୈନ୍ୟଦଶା ଭୱିତୁମ୍ ଆରେଭେ|
15 And he went his way, and joined himself unto one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to be feeding swine.
ତତଃ ପରଂ ସ ଗତ୍ୱା ତଦ୍ଦେଶୀଯଂ ଗୃହସ୍ଥମେକମ୍ ଆଶ୍ରଯତ; ତତଃ ସତଂ ଶୂକରୱ୍ରଜଂ ଚାରଯିତୁଂ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରଂ ପ୍ରେଷଯାମାସ|
16 And he used to long to be filled with the pods which the swine were eating; and, no man, was giving unto him.
କେନାପି ତସ୍ମୈ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟାଦାନାତ୍ ସ ଶୂକରଫଲୱଲ୍କଲେନ ପିଚିଣ୍ଡପୂରଣାଂ ୱୱାଞ୍ଛ|
17 But coming, to himself, he said—How many hired servants of my father, have bread enough and to spare, whereas, I, with famine, here, am perishing!
ଶେଷେ ସ ମନସି ଚେତନାଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ କଥଯାମାସ, ହା ମମ ପିତୁଃ ସମୀପେ କତି କତି ୱେତନଭୁଜୋ ଦାସା ଯଥେଷ୍ଟଂ ତତୋଧିକଞ୍ଚ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ନୁୱନ୍ତି କିନ୍ତ୍ୱହଂ କ୍ଷୁଧା ମୁମୂର୍ଷୁଃ|
18 I will arise, and go unto my father, and will say unto him—Father! I have sinned against heaven, and before thee:
ଅହମୁତ୍ଥାଯ ପିତୁଃ ସମୀପଂ ଗତ୍ୱା କଥାମେତାଂ ୱଦିଷ୍ୟାମି, ହେ ପିତର୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ତୱ ଚ ୱିରୁଦ୍ଧଂ ପାପମକରୱମ୍
19 No longer, am I worthy to be called a son of thine, —Make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came unto his own father.
ତୱ ପୁତ୍ରଇତି ୱିଖ୍ୟାତୋ ଭୱିତୁଂ ନ ଯୋଗ୍ୟୋସ୍ମି ଚ, ମାଂ ତୱ ୱୈତନିକଂ ଦାସଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ସ୍ଥାପଯ|
20 Now, while yet he was holding afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and, running, fell upon his neck, and tenderly kissed him.
ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ସ ଉତ୍ଥାଯ ପିତୁଃ ସମୀପଂ ଜଗାମ; ତତସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ପିତାତିଦୂରେ ତଂ ନିରୀକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦଯାଞ୍ଚକ୍ରେ, ଧାୱିତ୍ୱା ତସ୍ୟ କଣ୍ଠଂ ଗୃହୀତ୍ୱା ତଂ ଚୁଚୁମ୍ବ ଚ|
21 And the son said unto him—Father! I have sinned against heaven, and before thee: No longer, am I worthy to be called a son of thine, —[make me as one of thy hired servants.]
ତଦା ପୁତ୍ର ଉୱାଚ, ହେ ପିତର୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ତୱ ଚ ୱିରୁଦ୍ଧଂ ପାପମକରୱଂ, ତୱ ପୁତ୍ରଇତି ୱିଖ୍ୟାତୋ ଭୱିତୁଂ ନ ଯୋଗ୍ୟୋସ୍ମି ଚ|
22 But the father said unto his servants—Quick! bring forth a robe—the best! and put on him, and get out a ring for his hand, and sandals for his feet.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତସ୍ୟ ପିତା ନିଜଦାସାନ୍ ଆଦିଦେଶ, ସର୍ୱ୍ୱୋତ୍ତମୱସ୍ତ୍ରାଣ୍ୟାନୀଯ ପରିଧାପଯତୈନଂ ହସ୍ତେ ଚାଙ୍ଗୁରୀଯକମ୍ ଅର୍ପଯତ ପାଦଯୋଶ୍ଚୋପାନହୌ ସମର୍ପଯତ;
23 And be bringing the fatted calf, sacrifice! and let us eat and make merry:
ପୁଷ୍ଟଂ ଗୋୱତ୍ସମ୍ ଆନୀଯ ମାରଯତ ଚ ତଂ ଭୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ୱଯମ୍ ଆନନ୍ଦାମ|
24 Because, this my son, was, dead, and hath come to life again, was lost, and is found. And they began to be making merry.
ଯତୋ ମମ ପୁତ୍ରୋଯମ୍ ଅମ୍ରିଯତ ପୁନରଜୀୱୀଦ୍ ହାରିତଶ୍ଚ ଲବ୍ଧୋଭୂତ୍ ତତସ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦିତୁମ୍ ଆରେଭିରେ|
25 But his elder son was in a field; and, as, in coming, he drew near unto the house, he heard music and dancing, —
ତତ୍କାଲେ ତସ୍ୟ ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠଃ ପୁତ୍ରଃ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଆସୀତ୍| ଅଥ ସ ନିୱେଶନସ୍ୟ ନିକଟଂ ଆଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ ନୃତ୍ୟାନାଂ ୱାଦ୍ୟାନାଞ୍ଚ ଶବ୍ଦଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା
26 and, calling near one of the youths, he inquired what these things, could be.
ଦାସାନାମ୍ ଏକମ୍ ଆହୂଯ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛ, କିଂ କାରଣମସ୍ୟ?
27 And, he, said unto him, —Thy brother, hath come, and thy father hath sacrificed the fatted calf, because, safe and sound, hath he received him back.
ତତଃ ସୋୱାଦୀତ୍, ତୱ ଭ୍ରାତାଗମତ୍, ତୱ ତାତଶ୍ଚ ତଂ ସୁଶରୀରଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ପୁଷ୍ଟଂ ଗୋୱତ୍ସଂ ମାରିତୱାନ୍|
28 But he was provoked to anger, and would not go in. And, his father, coming out, began to entreat him.
ତତଃ ସ ପ୍ରକୁପ୍ୟ ନିୱେଶନାନ୍ତଃ ପ୍ରୱେଷ୍ଟୁଂ ନ ସମ୍ମେନେ; ତତସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ପିତା ବହିରାଗତ୍ୟ ତଂ ସାଧଯାମାସ|
29 But, he, answering said unto his father—Lo! so many years as these, do I serve thee, and, at no time, a commandment of thine, have I transgressed, —And, unto me, at no time, hast thou given a kid, that, with my friends, I might make merry;
ତତଃ ସ ପିତରଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୁୱାଚ, ପଶ୍ୟ ତୱ କାଞ୍ଚିଦପ୍ୟାଜ୍ଞାଂ ନ ୱିଲଂଘ୍ୟ ବହୂନ୍ ୱତ୍ସରାନ୍ ଅହଂ ତ୍ୱାଂ ସେୱେ ତଥାପି ମିତ୍ରୈଃ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଉତ୍ସୱଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ କଦାପି ଛାଗମେକମପି ମହ୍ୟଂ ନାଦଦାଃ;
30 But, when, this thy son, who had devoured thy living with harlots, came, thou didst sacrifice, for him, the fatted calf;
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୱ ଯଃ ପୁତ୍ରୋ ୱେଶ୍ୟାଗମନାଦିଭିସ୍ତୱ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିମ୍ ଅପୱ୍ୟଯିତୱାନ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ନାଗତମାତ୍ରେ ତସ୍ୟୈୱ ନିମିତ୍ତଂ ପୁଷ୍ଟଂ ଗୋୱତ୍ସଂ ମାରିତୱାନ୍|
31 But, he, said unto him—Child! thou, always, art, with me, and, all that is mine, is, thine;
ତଦା ତସ୍ୟ ପିତାୱୋଚତ୍, ହେ ପୁତ୍ର ତ୍ୱଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଦା ମଯା ସହାସି ତସ୍ମାନ୍ ମମ ଯଦ୍ୟଦାସ୍ତେ ତତ୍ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ତୱ|
32 But, to make merry and rejoice, there was need, because, this thy brother—was, dead, and hath come to life again, and was lost, and is found.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୱାଯଂ ଭ୍ରାତା ମୃତଃ ପୁନରଜୀୱୀଦ୍ ହାରିତଶ୍ଚ ଭୂତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୋଭୂତ୍, ଏତସ୍ମାତ୍ କାରଣାଦ୍ ଉତ୍ସୱାନନ୍ଦୌ କର୍ତ୍ତୁମ୍ ଉଚିତମସ୍ମାକମ୍|
