Leviticus 24
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
൧യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 Command the sons of Israel, That they bring unto thee—pure oil olive, beaten, for giving light, —to cause the lamp to burn up continually.
൨“ദീപങ്ങൾ നിത്യം കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ നിലവിളക്കിന് ഇടിച്ചെടുത്ത തെളിവുള്ള ഒലിവെണ്ണ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരണമെന്ന് അവരോടു കല്പിക്കുക.
3 Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron order it, from evening until morning, before Yahweh continually, —a statute age-abiding, to your generations.
൩സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിൽ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ തിരശ്ശീലയ്ക്കു പുറത്തു വൈകുന്നേരംമുതൽ രാവിലെവരെ കത്തേണ്ടതിന് അഹരോൻ അത് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിത്യം ഒരുക്കിവയ്ക്കണം; ഇത് തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള നിയമം ആകുന്നു.
4 Upon the pure lampstand, shall he order the lamps, —before Yahweh, continually.
൪അവൻ നിത്യവും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ തങ്കനിലവിളക്കിന്മേൽ ദീപങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കിവയ്ക്കണം.
5 And thou shalt take fine meal, and bake it, in twelve cakes, —of two-tenths, shall each cake be.
൫“നീ നേരിയ മാവ് എടുത്ത് അതുകൊണ്ട് പന്ത്രണ്ട് ദോശ ചുടണം; ഓരോ ദോശ രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി മാവുകൊണ്ട് ആയിരിക്കണം.
6 And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, —upon the pure table, before Yahweh.
൬അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ തങ്കമേശമേൽ രണ്ട് അടുക്കായിട്ട് ഓരോ അടുക്കിൽ ആറുവീതം വെക്കണം.
7 And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, —so shall it belong unto the bread as a memorial, an altar-flame unto Yahweh.
൭ഓരോ അടുക്കിന്മേൽ നിർമ്മലമായ കുന്തുരുക്കം വയ്ക്കേണം; അത് അപ്പത്തിന്മേൽ നിവേദ്യമായി യഹോവയ്ക്കു ദഹനയാഗമായിരിക്കണം.
8 Sabbath day by sabbath day, shall he order it before Yahweh continually, —from the sons of Israel as an age-abiding covenant:
൮അവൻ അത് നിത്യനിയമമായിട്ടു യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളോടു വാങ്ങി ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിരന്തരമായി അടുക്കിവക്കണം.
9 so shall it be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, —for most holy, shall it be unto him from among the altar-flames of Yahweh, a statute age-abiding.
൯അത് അഹരോനും പുത്രന്മാർക്കും ഉള്ളതായിരിക്കണം; അവർ അത് ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തുവച്ച് ഭക്ഷിക്കണം; അത് അവനു ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി യഹോവയുടെ ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളിൽ അതിവിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു”.
10 And forth went the son of a woman of Israel—he being the son of a man of Egypt—in the midst of the sons of Israel;
൧൦അനന്തരം ഒരു യിസ്രായേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെയും ഒരു ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരന്റെയും മകനായ ഒരുവൻ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ചെന്ന്; യിസ്രായേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ ഈ മകനും ഒരു യിസ്രായേല്യേനും തമ്മിൽ പാളയത്തിൽവച്ചു ശണ്ഠകൂടി.
11 and the son of the woman of Israel, and a man of Israel, reviled one another in the camp. And the son of the Israelitish woman uttered contemptuously the Name, and reviled. So they brought him in unto Moses, —now, the name of his mother, was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;
൧൧യിസ്രായേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകൻ തിരുനാമം ദുഷിച്ചു ശപിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ അവനെ മോശെയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവന്റെ അമ്മയ്ക്ക് ശെലോമീത്ത് എന്നു പേര്. അവൾ ദാൻഗോത്രത്തിൽ ദിബ്രി എന്നൊരുവന്റെ മകളായിരുന്നു.
12 and they put him in ward, —that a clear answer might be given to them at the mouth of Yahweh.
൧൨യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന് അവർ അവനെ തടവിൽവച്ചു.
13 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
൧൩അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശെയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്:
14 Bring forth him that reviled unto the outside of the camp, then shall all that heard [him] lean their hands upon his head, —and all the assembly shall stone him.
൧൪“ശപിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിനു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകുക; കേട്ടവർ എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ തലയിൽ കൈവച്ചശേഷം സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലണം.
15 And, unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak saying, —What man soever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
൧൫എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: ‘ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ശപിച്ചാൽ അവൻ തന്റെ പാപം വഹിക്കും.
16 And, he that contemptuously uttereth the name of Yahweh, shall be, surely put to death, all the assembly shall, surely stone, him, —as the sojourner so the home-born, when he contemptuously uttereth the Name, he shall be put to death.
൧൬യഹോവയുടെ നാമം ദുഷിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കണം; സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിയണം; പരദേശിയാകട്ടെ സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ തിരുനാമത്തെ ദുഷിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കണം.
17 And, when, any man, by smiting taketh the life of any human being, he shall be surely put to death,
൧൭മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കണം.
18 And he that by smiting taketh away the life of a beast, shall make it good, —life for life.
൧൮മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മൃഗത്തിനു പകരം മൃഗത്തെ കൊടുക്കണം.
19 And, when, any man, inflicteth a blemish upon his neighbour, as he hath done, so, shall it be done to him:
൧൯ഒരുവൻ കൂട്ടുകാരനു കേട് വരുത്തിയാൽ അവൻ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നെ അവനോട് ചെയ്യണം.
20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, as he inflicteth a blemish upon a human being, so, shall one be inflicted upon him.
൨൦ഒടിവിനു പകരം ഒടിവ്, കണ്ണിന് പകരം കണ്ണ്, പല്ലിനു പകരം പല്ല്; ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ മറ്റേയാളിനു കേടുവരുത്തിയതുപോലെതന്നെ അവനും വരുത്തണം.
21 And he that killeth a beast, shall make it good, -and he that killeth a human being, shall be put to death.
൨൧മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ അതിന് പകരം കൊടുക്കണം; എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കണം.
22 One rule, shall ye have, as the sojourner, so the home-born, shall be, —For, I—Yahweh, am your God.
൨൨നിങ്ങൾക്ക് പരദേശിക്കും സ്വദേശിക്കും ഒരു പ്രമാണം തന്നെ ആയിരിക്കണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു’”.
23 So then Moses spake unto the sons of Israel, and they took forth the reviler, unto the outside of the camp, and stoned him with stones. Thus, the sons of Israel did, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
൨൩ദുഷിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിനു പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുപോയി കല്ലെറിയണമെന്നു മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ ചെയ്തു.
