Leviticus 17
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses saying: —
E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons and unto all the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded, saying:
Fala a Arão e a seus filhos, e a todos os filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Isto é o que mandou o SENHOR, dizendo:
3 What man soever, there be of the house of Israel, who slayeth an ox or lamb or goat, in the camp, —or who slayeth it outside the camp;
Qualquer homem da casa de Israel que degolar boi, ou cordeiro, ou cabra, no acampamento, ou fora do acampamento,
4 and, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, bringeth it not in, to present it as an oblation unto Yahweh, before the habitation of Yahweh, blood, shall be imputed to that man—blood, hath he shed, therefore shall that man be cut off from the midst of his people:
E não o trouxer à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, para oferecer oferta ao SENHOR diante do tabernáculo do SENHOR, sangue será imputado ao tal homem: sangue derramou; eliminado será o tal homem dentre seu povo:
5 to the end that the sons of Israel may bring in their sacrifices which they are offering upon the face of the field, that they may bring them in unto Yahweh—unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest, —and that so as peace-offerings unto Yahweh, they may offer them.
A fim de que tragam os filhos de Israel seus sacrifícios, os que sacrificam sobre a face do campo, para que os tragam ao SENHOR à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho ao sacerdote, e sacrifiquem eles sacrifícios pacíficos ao SENHOR.
6 Then shall the priest dash the blood against the altar of Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —and shall make a perfume of the fat, as a satisfying odour unto Yahweh;
E o sacerdote espargirá o sangue sobre o altar do SENHOR, à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, e queimará a gordura em cheiro suave ao SENHOR.
7 so shall they no more offer their sacrifices unto demons after whom they are unchastely going away, —a statute age-abiding, shall this be to them unto their generations.
E nunca mais sacrificarão seus sacrifícios aos demônios, atrás dos quais se prostituíram: terão isto por estatuto perpétuo por suas gerações.
8 Wherefore, unto them, shalt thou say: What man soever, there may be of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners that sojourn in their midst, —who causeth to go up an ascending-offering, or a sacrifice;
Tu Lhes dirás também: Qualquer homem da casa de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre vós, que oferecer holocausto ou sacrifício,
9 and unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, doth not bring it in, to offer it unto Yahweh, then shall that man be cut off from among his kinsfolk.
E não o trouxer à porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, para fazê-lo ao SENHOR, o tal homem será igualmente eliminado de seus povos.
10 And, what man soever, there may be of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners that sojourn in their midst, that partaketh of any manner of blood, then will I set my face against the person that partaketh of the blood, and will cut him off from the midst of his people.
E qualquer homem da casa de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre eles, que comer algum sangue, eu porei meu rosto contra a pessoa que comer sangue, e lhe cortarei dentre seu povo.
11 For as for the life of the flesh, in the blood, it is, therefore have, I, given it unto you upon the altar, to put a propitiatory-covering over your lives, —for the blood, it is, which, by virtue of the life, maketh propitiation.
Porque a vida da carne no sangue está: e eu vos a dei para expiar vossas pessoas sobre o altar: pelo qual o mesmo sangue expiará a pessoa.
12 For this cause, have I said unto the sons of Israel, Not a person from among you shall partake of blood, —Even the sojourner that sojourneth in your midst, shall not partake of blood.
Portanto, disse aos filhos de Israel: Nenhuma pessoa de vós comerá sangue, nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós comerá sangue.
13 And, what man soever, there may be of the sons of Israel, or of the sojourners that sojourn in their midst, who taketh by hunting any wild-beast or bird that may be eaten, then shall he pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust;
E qualquer homem dos filhos de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre eles, que recolher caça de animal ou de ave que seja de comer, derramará seu sangue e o cobrirá com terra:
14 for, as for the life of all flesh, the blood thereof, for the life thereof, standeth, therefore have I said unto the sons of Israel—Of the blood of no manner of flesh, shall ye partake, For, the life of all flesh is the blood thereof; whoso partaketh thereof, shall be cut off.
Porque a alma de toda carne, sua vida, está em seu sangue: portanto disse aos filhos de Israel: Não comereis o sangue de nenhuma carne, porque a vida de toda carne é seu sangue; qualquer um que a comer será eliminado.
15 And, in the case of any person who eateth that which died of itself or was torn in pieces, whether he be home-born, or a sojourner, then shall he wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening, and then be clean.
E qualquer um pessoa que comer coisa morta ou despedaçada por fera, tanto dos naturais como dos estrangeiros, lavará suas roupas e a si mesmo se lavará com água, e será impuro até à tarde; e se limpará.
16 But, if he wash them not, and his flesh, he do not bathe, then shall he bear his iniquity.
E se não os lavar, nem lavar sua carne, levará sua iniquidade.
