Leviticus 15
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses and unto Aaron saying:
യഹോവ മോശയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു;
2 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and ye shall say unto them, —When, any man whatsoever, hath a flowing from his flesh, his flux, is, unclean.
“ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു സംസാരിച്ച് അവരോടു പറയണം: ‘ഒരു പുരുഷനു ശുക്ലസ്രവമുണ്ടായാൽ, ആ സ്രവം ആചാരപരമായി അശുദ്ധമാണ്.
3 And, this shall be his uncleanness in his flux, —whether his flesh is running with his flux or his flesh hath closed from his flux, his uncleanness, it is.
അത് അവന്റെ ശരീരത്തിൽനിന്ന് നിരന്തരമായി ഒഴുകിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നാലും അടഞ്ഞിരുന്നാലും അത് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കും. സ്രവത്താൽ അശുദ്ധിയുണ്ടാകുന്നത് ഇപ്രകാരമാണ്:
4 All the bed whereon he that hath the flux lieth, shall be unclean, —and, every piece of furniture whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
“‘സ്രവമുള്ളവൻ കിടക്കുന്ന കിടക്ക അശുദ്ധം, അവൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നതെന്തും അശുദ്ധം.
5 And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.
അവന്റെ കിടക്ക തൊടുന്ന ഏതൊരാളും വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം, അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
6 And, he that sitteth on that whereon he that hath the flux hath sat, shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.
സ്രവമുള്ളവൻ ഇരുന്ന എന്തിലെങ്കിലും ഇരിക്കുന്നവർ വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി, വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം, അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
7 And, he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the flux, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening,
“‘സ്രവമുള്ളയാളെ തൊടുന്നവരും വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി, വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം, അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
8 And, when he that hath a flux spitteth on him that is clean, then shall he wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.
“‘ശുദ്ധരായ ആരുടെയെങ്കിലുംമേൽ സ്രവമുള്ളവൻ തുപ്പിയാൽ, അയാൾ വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം, അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
9 And, every saddle whereon he that hath the flux rideth, shall be unclean.
“‘സ്രവമുള്ളവൻ യാത്രചെയ്യുന്ന വാഹനവും അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും.
10 And, whosoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening; and, he that carrieth them shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.
അവന്റെകീഴേയിരുന്ന എന്തിലെങ്കിലും തൊടുന്നവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും. അവ എടുക്കുന്നവർ വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം. അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
11 And, whomsoever he that hath the flux toucheth, not having rinsed, his hands in water, then shall he wash his clothes, and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening,
“‘സ്രവമുള്ളവൻ വെള്ളത്തിൽ കൈകഴുകാതെ ആരെയെങ്കിലും തൊട്ടാൽ അവർ വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി, വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം. അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
12 And the earthen vessel which he that hath the flux toucheth shall be broken in pieces, —and, every vessel of wood, shall be rinsed in water.
“‘ആ മനുഷ്യൻ തൊടുന്ന മൺപാത്രം ഉടയ്ക്കണം. മരസാധനങ്ങൾ വെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴുകണം.
13 And when he that hath the flux becometh clean from his flux, then shall he number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, —and bathe his flesh in living water, and be clean.
“‘ഒരു പുരുഷൻ തന്റെ സ്രവത്തിൽനിന്ന് ശുദ്ധനായാൽ, അവന്റെ ആചാരപരമായ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന് അവൻ ഏഴുദിവസം എണ്ണണം. അവൻ വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി, ശുദ്ധജലത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം. അങ്ങനെ അവൻ ശുദ്ധനാകും.
14 And, on the eighth day, he shall take for himself two turtle doves or two young pigeons, —and come in before Yahweh, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, and give them to the priest;
എട്ടാംദിവസം അവൻ രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിൻകുഞ്ഞിനെയോ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ സമാഗമകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ കവാടത്തിൽ വന്നു പുരോഹിതന്റെ പക്കൽ അവയെ കൊടുക്കണം.
15 and the priest shall offer them, one as a sin-bearer and the other as an ascending-sacrifice, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, before Yahweh, because of his flux.
പുരോഹിതൻ അവയെ, ഒന്നു പാപശുദ്ധീകരണയാഗമായും മറ്റേതു ഹോമയാഗമായും അർപ്പിക്കണം. ഇപ്രകാരം പുരോഹിതൻ അവനുവേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കണം.
16 And, when there goeth out from, any man, an outflow of seed, then shall he bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening.
“‘ഒരു പുരുഷനു ശുക്ലസ്രവമുണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ, അയാൾ ദേഹം ആസകലം വെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴുകണം, അയാൾ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കും.
17 And, in the case of any garment or any skin whereupon there shall come to be an outflow of seed, then shall it be washed in water, and be unclean until the evening.
ഏതെങ്കിലും വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ തുകലിലോ ശുക്ലം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതു വെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴുകണം. സന്ധ്യവരെ അത് അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും.
18 Also, a woman with whom man lieth carnally, then shall they bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.
ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയോടുകൂടെ കിടക്കപങ്കിടുകയും ശുക്ലസ്രവം ഉണ്ടാകുകയും ചെയ്താൽ, രണ്ടുപേരും വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം, അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
19 And, when a, woman, hath a flow, and her flow in her flesh is, blood, seven days, shall she continue in her removal, and whosoever toucheth her, shall be unclean until the evening;
“‘ഒരു സ്ത്രീക്കു മുറപ്രകാരം രക്തസ്രാവമുണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ, അവളുടെ മാസമുറയുടെ അശുദ്ധി ഏഴുദിവസം നീളും, അവളെ തൊടുന്നവർ ആരായാലും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
20 and, whatsoever she lieth upon in her removal, shall be unclean, —and, whatsoever she sitteth upon, shall be unclean;
“‘അവളുടെ ആർത്തവകാലത്ത് അവൾ ഏതിന്മേലെങ്കിലും കിടന്നാൽ അത് അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും, ഏതിന്മേലെങ്കിലും അവൾ ഇരുന്നാൽ അത് അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും.
21 and whosoever toucheth her bed, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening;
അവളുടെ കിടക്ക തൊടുന്നവർ തന്റെ വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം. അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
22 and, whosoever toucheth any thing whereon she sitteth shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening;
അവൾ ഇരുന്ന എന്തിലെങ്കിലും തൊടുന്നവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം, അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
23 and, whether, on her bed, it is, or on any thing whereon she hath been sitting, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the evening;
അവളുടെ കിടക്കയോ, അവൾ ഇരുന്ന എന്തെങ്കിലുമോ ആരെങ്കിലും തൊട്ടാൽ അവർ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
24 and if man shall even lie with her, and her cause for removal be upon him, then shall he be unclean seven days, —and, all the bed whereon he shall lie, shall be unclean.
“‘ഒരു പുരുഷൻ അവളോടുകൂടെ കിടക്കപങ്കിടുകയും അവളുടെ ആർത്തവസ്രവം അവന്റെമേൽ ആകുകയും ചെയ്താൽ, അവൻ ഏഴുദിവസം അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കും, അവൻ കിടക്കുന്ന കിടക്കയും അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും.
25 And when any woman’s, flow of blood lasteth many day, outside the time of her removal, or when it floweth beyond her removal, all the days of her unclean flow, shall she be as in the days of her removal—unclean, she is.
“‘ഒരു സ്ത്രീക്ക് ആർത്തവകാലത്തല്ലാതെ വളരെദിവസം രക്തസ്രാവമുണ്ടാകുകയോ ആർത്തവകാലം കഴിഞ്ഞും സ്രവം തുടരുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ, സ്രവമുള്ളിടത്തോളം, ആർത്തവകാലംപോലെ അവൾ അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കും.
26 All the bed whereon she lieth during all the days of her flow, like her bed in her removal, shall be to her, —and, every thing whereon she sitteth, shall be, unclean, like the uncleanness in her removal;
സ്രവം തുടരുന്നകാലത്ത് അവൾ കിടക്കുന്ന കിടക്ക, അവളുടെ ആർത്തവകാലത്തെ കിടക്കപോലെ, അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും. അവൾ ഇരിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം, ആർത്തവകാലത്തേതുപോലെ അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും,
27 and whosoever toucheth them, shall be unclean, —and shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.
അവയെ തൊടുന്നവർ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും; അവർ വസ്ത്രം കഴുകി വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുളിക്കണം. സന്ധ്യവരെ അവർ അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കും.
28 But, if she be clean from her flow, then shall she count to herself seven days and afterwards, shall she count herself clean.
“‘അവളുടെ സ്രവത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവൾ ശുദ്ധയായാൽ, അവൾ ഏഴുദിവസം എണ്ണണം. അതിനുശേഷം അവൾ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവളാകും.
29 And, on the eighth day, shall she take to herself two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, —and bring them in unto the priest, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting;
എട്ടാംദിവസം അവൾ രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിൻകുഞ്ഞിനെയോ എടുത്തു സമാഗമകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ കവാടത്തിൽ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരണം.
30 and the priest shall offer the one as a sin-bearer, and the other as an ascending-sacrifice, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over her, before Yahweh, because of her unclean flow.
പുരോഹിതൻ ഒന്നിനെ പാപശുദ്ധീകരണയാഗമായും മറ്റേതിനെ ഹോമയാഗമായും അർപ്പിക്കണം. ഇപ്രകാരം പുരോഹിതൻ അവളുടെ സ്രവത്തിന്റെ അശുദ്ധിനിമിത്തം അവൾക്കുവേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കണം.
31 Thus shall ye warn the sons of Israel from their uncleanness, And they shall not die in their uncleanness, By reason of their making unclean my habitation which is in their midst.
“‘ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള എന്റെ നിവാസസ്ഥാനം അശുദ്ധമാക്കി, ആ അശുദ്ധിയിൽ അവർ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്, നീ അവരെ അശുദ്ധിയിൽനിന്നകറ്റണം.’”
32 This, is the law—Of him that hath a flux, —And of him from whom goeth an outflow of seed, making unclean thereby;
സ്രവമുള്ള ആൾക്കും ശുക്ലസ്രവത്താൽ അശുദ്ധമായ ഏതൊരാൾക്കും
33 And of her that is unwell with her cause for removal, And of him whose flux floweth, For the male, and for the female, —And for a man who lieth with her that is unclean.
ആർത്തവകാലത്തുള്ള സ്ത്രീക്കും സ്രവമുള്ള പുരുഷനും സ്ത്രീക്കും ആചാരപരമായി അശുദ്ധയായ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയോടുകൂടെ ലൈംഗികബന്ധത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുന്നവനും ഉള്ള പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ ഇവയാണ്.
